《World Integration》Chapter 6: Prison Outbreak

A man dressing in formal attire, addressing the current upcoming and ongoing news, behind a news station with a large recording camera facing him.
He then said so live on broadcasting tv internationally, but Albert Lee and his father are currently watching the news on cabled tv. "This is Thomas Wilson from iBBC news, and we are currently live broadcasting from London Internation News Station."
"At this moment, all around the world, people have suddenly awakened and discovered unforeseen supernatural powers, brought about by some kind of universal system or otherworldly power in the form of a blue notification screen box." The news reporter said over the live broadcaster.
His tone of voice then suddenly become serious, with a straight face, he then addresses the issues at hand. "The people that have suddenly awakened some supernatural powers have started to run amok, causing chaos on the city streets, robbing convenience stores, shops, and malls. Anything that they could get hands-on. With some even resulting to murder to get whatever they want."
"Well, that isn't very surprising to say if the whole population were to suddenly have gained superpowers. The society would naturally digress into law of the jungle world until a group of superpowered heroes would then showed up with righteous beliefs to fight injustice and maintained law and order." Albert Lee commented, monologing to himself, which his biological father quickly finds confusing as he could barely understand whatever he was saying.
"What are you talking about, son?" He asks Albert Lee a question, thereby enquiring on whatever he was talking about.
Albert Lee then waves it off, thereby saying it's nothing. "It's nothing to worry about, dad. Just mindless rambling to myself."
"Oh." Albert Lee's father then resigns in defeat, as he didn't enquire about the matter any further.
Albert Lee's biological father was not born in the UK, USA, or any English speaking country. So English is not his first language, but rather his second language. His first language is Vietnamese. And he learnt to speak English through watching Hollywood movies and tv shows in the early to late 1990s till now. The 1980s.
He immigrated from his home country Vietnam to England UK at the age of 13. So it was not hard for him to learn how to speak and write English in the following years that lead up to his adulthood. And now he is in his late thirties to early forties, living with his 19 years old son Albert Lee.

Originally, Albert Lee's father was married to his mother, and they both have two children; himself and his younger brother by two years.
But, after the divorce, his younger brother then decided to move in with his biological mother, whilst Albert Lee then decided to live his biological. So that either one of them wouldn't be lonely and lived by themselves. However, the two Lee brothers still keep in constant contact with each other, every once in a while they would meet each other in real life, as they don't really live that far apart, being in the same city and country and all.
And continuing with the breaking news report, the news reporter said, "Prison criminals, convicted robbers and murderers with supernatural superpowers have successfully broken out from the prison, and are thereby now free to wreak havoc upon our city. So be warn everyone to remain safe withinside the comforts of your own home or get to a safe place."
"The police, the armed forces, British Royal Army are on their way to hunt down these dangerous criminals that have managed to escape from prison." The news reporter said so with a serious face.
The atmosphere has suddenly gotten a lot darker, with the scenery behind the news reporter suddenly changing to a live video of the scene, recorded by a cameraman that is seated on top of a spinning anchor helicopter.
The scene depicts mass murder occurring about down below in the main city of Manchester, as a player that has managed to successfully awaken as a mutant class {Reptilian User}. His human body has suddenly transformed into a two to the three-meter tall humanoid creature.
The humanoid reptilian creature is decked out in hard reptilian scales, covering all around his body like an actual lizard. His body is extremely buff, with claws that are able to rip apart human flesh, and able to rip a car's roof with ease.
The transformed mutant class {Reptilian User} then goes about ripping and tearing humans apart, like they are his prey and he is the hunter.
After watching the news live on tv for some time, both Albert Lee and his father showcased very dark expression on their faces. 'This is seriously not good. If things like this are happening now, then I can't imagine what would happen when the count down timer for the beginning of Ragnarok to start would be like.'

Albert Lee's father then turned to look at him, with a serious look on his face, he then tightly grasp his son's shoulder tightly, with shaking hands.
He said, "Please, son! Promise me that you will definitely not head outside of this house under any circumstances! Please I don't want to lose! You are the only living family that I have left that still loves and cares for me."
Albert Lee could then immediately see a frightened sad look plastered on his father's face, almost a bit teary-eyed. However, he found no good reason to refute his father statement at this moment.
'The world is now a dangerous place. It is definitely not safe as it once was. It is somehow like an apocalypse. No, it is more like a purge where society's rules that once protect the weak no longer applies. And everything is free for the killing.' He thought.
"There is no way that I would head outside during these dangerous times where my life could be easily put in danger dad." Albert Lee then said so towards his dad.
"Thank God!" Albert Lee's father said, thereby heaving a sigh of relief.
A thought then immediately crossed his mind. "I think we should immediately try and border up our place, just in case for our own safety, for there is a chance that the escaped criminals and convicts would eventually try and target us in the future."
"Good point!" Albert Lee's father commented on his son's suggestion.
"I go and immediately gets some plywood, a hammer, and some nails in order to border up the glass windows and doors." Albert Lee's father said.
The two immediately started to get to work, but as Albert Lee's eyes then look over the garden through the living room window. He saw some useful junk laying around in the back garden that may prove useful to him in the future, so he has an idea that he wishes to implement by himself.
A mischievous little smile then crept over his face, as he then went upstairs to get his keys, and then went straight to opening the back door towards their house.
Having seen the keys that Albert Lee was currently holding within his hand, he started to panic a little, as he then immediately grasp Albert Lee's wrist without a second thought, before asking him questions.
"Where are going, son?" Albert Lee's father asked him, with a look of great worry, showcasing some concerns for his boy's safety.
"I am not going anywhere, dad. I'm just heading outside in our back garden to gather some junk that may prove to be useful to us in the near future." He said so with confidence and then point towards the metal pieces of junk that are laying around within the back garden, and the unused somewhat rusted treadmill machine.
After having a look towards where his son is pointing. Albert Lee's father then immediately got the gist of whatever his son was saying and said. "Oh, I understand."
"Dad. Do you mind helping me carry that useful stuff inside?" He kindly asked his father, thereby requesting his personal assistance in carrying some stuff inside the house.
"Well, sure thing." His father responded, indeed joining the help in carrying all of the useful stuff that was laying in the back garden into the house's living room.
The useful junk that Albert Lee was talking about was unused processed metal, like the steel metal drying pole implanted in the middle of the back garden, attached to numerous drying lines. An old primary school table that his father picked, but was never actually used and was thereby left to slowly rust away in the back garden.
And finally, the large treadmill is too heavy for a single person to carry alone, so it definitely needs two-person to lift it up and carry it inside the house.

But the angry ghost trapped inside the blade has other ideas. Buckle up for the brutal LitRPG ride of a lifetime Savage Hunters is an alternate-world neolothic fantasy. Characters grow their powers with explicit stat blocks presented right in the text, including levels, attribute scores, and unlockable skill trees. Experience is accumulated by battling enormous monsters the size of buildings. Political intrigue and romance elements ramp up as the series progresses. I originally wrote this story after playing Monster Hunter with my niece. She was 12 at the time, already an avid reader, and wanted to read my other published books. I'm a licensed psychotherapist specializing in severe trauma so I tend toward darker fiction. I told her my usual books are too brutal for her but I'd write her something special. The result was this series, which has been praised by both teens and adults for its depth and universal appeal. It begins with an emphasis on cultural elements because I consulted with a trained anthropologist to craft this neolithic setting down to exacting social detail. After these opening chapters, it rapidly shifts to an action-packed adventure. The first 3 books are fully written as of November 2020, totalling approximately 69 chapters. The first book has been professionally edited already. The following two books require some editing which I'll do on a chapter-by-chapter basis as releases progress. I welcome reviews and comments. Writing is a passion, and reader engagement makes my labor all the sweeter.

The Bronze Players of Recreation
The world of Creation has seen a recent explosion of what can only be called an adventurer’s culture over the past few decades. People who were once looked at as nothing more than lower class mercenaries rose to the ranks of heroes and legends as adventuring became recognized as an idealized lifestyle of overcoming hardship and finding triumph. With the establishment of a guild-based government system on the continent of Terramania, adventurers were soon legitimized and adventuring became a phenomenon universally accepted around the world. Redlette had retreated from this world to live on Earth for the remainder of her years, having been born and outcast by the gods of Creation. However, upon meeting a friend that she treasured dearly, she found herself longing for a return to her world—she wanted to experience it properly and go on adventures with someone whom she holds dear. Putting a plan into action, she meets with her friend, an awkward, nerdy boy by the username of Herring who she’d only known through years of playing online games with him, and invites him to go on this fantastic adventure with her. An adventure in another world had always been an impossible dream for Herring, but when he suddenly found himself with the opportunity to embark on one, he knew it wouldn’t be as simple as books and shows made it out to be. Redlette was notorious for rushing into things without thinking them through, and he was flighty and weak. In the games they played together, they rarely grasped victory. They were losers through and through, both in hobby and life. Despite this, though, he takes the leap and sets off with Redlette into the world of Creation. Together they only had one goal: to have fun and go on the adventure of their lives. This time, they’d establish a guild of their own and be free to take on whatever exploits their hearts desired. This is the story of the founding of their guild. Author’s Notes: -My writing style is largely based off of the absurd amount of light novels I’ve read and anime I’ve watched, so it may come off as cartoonish or exaggerative at times. If that isn’t your thing, I’d steer clear of this story.-Not an MMO story.-No numerical stats.-Relatively slow pacing.-Posts are between 2000-5000 words weekly after Chapter 1.
