Connecticut airport 8:00 am

Joan walks out of the airport exit. She was currently wearing a black cap, blue vest, red shirt, blue jeans, and white rubber shoes.

“Looks like I’m early.” Looking at her wristwatch

According to Chaste information, Hiroshi’s car will pass the bridge by 3:00 pm according to the information and where she will begin her assassination. According to the information, the private limousine will follow the general public road where the populace uses most. The Chaste doesn't intend to affect civilians during the ambush, that’s why her best chance was to attack while the car was traversing the bridge where limited civilians can be affected and she needs to make it quick.

“I need to personally check the place so I can plan it perfectly” she murmurs.

3:09 PM Connecticut bridge.

Three private’s cars were currently making its way on the other side of the bridge.

Inside in the second limousine, three people were currently seated in the backseat, a woman with black hair wearing a black leather jacket, she was one of Kirigi mutant henchmen.

She was currently massaging the man with long hair that reaches his shoulder and wearing white kimono, he was Kirigi the son of Hiroshi, and the leader of the escort bodyguards.

On the other sit sat an old Japanese man wearing a business suit with a sharp eye, his name was Hiroshi, Joan's target.

“What's the status of the girl?”

“She survives father; Bull’s eye was killed during the battle. According to the investigation, Bullseye was killed by two sai. One pierces his brain, and another in the chest. We still investigating who has to ambush him.”

“Investigate it carefully. I’m getting pressured from the higher-ups, you need to speed up your progress.”

“Understood father.”

Suddenly three of them look up subconsciously when they felt some kind of energy above them.

“An ambush.”

The old man smirk not looking worried, he brought the champagne glass to his lips.

“This limousine is one of the best armor proof cars in the world so whatever they throw at us, even it’s a bomb, it will not leave a scratch to a car. Except if they’re desperate and throw a nuclear bomb in this place.” Then he smirks imagining the Chaste fools desperately trying to kill him.

“Swish” suddenly he looks up only to see a piece of limousine roof was pierce like a cloth.

Hiroshi bugles his eyes out and about to say something but another kunai was thrown at him, he looks at the kunai in fear as it goes through his head like a piece of paper. The leather sit was sploshed with blood, the kunai pierce the leather sit stopping it. Hiroshi stares blankly and rolls his eyes. He drops the glass on the floor splashing its content on the car's carpet.

“Father!” Kirigi shout

Suddenly the car lost control and began to flip several times before it stopped.

Suddenly the back seat door of the limousine was thrown open as two people came out fast looking up vigilantly. They notice that the other two armor car has the same accident as them.

Kirigi grit his teeth in anger and look up, only to see a woman wearing a tight black suit, with her eyes only visible. But it’s enough for Kirigi to recognize that face.

“Elektra!”

Few minutes before the ambush

Elektra watch as the three private cars approaches, she began to ponder how should she handle this.

“First, I need to find my primary target which is Hiroshi, and try to guess which car he’s in.

"Next, if I don’t guess wrong, those limousines must be bulletproof, normal bullets won’t work on them. My best bet is the enhancement weapon skill. By this skill, I can pierce any metal with a sharp object as long as I embed them with enough enchantment. But I don’t think 1 enchantment kunai will serve its purpose, to make sure, I need to prepare to energize two to three throwing weapons in case the two didn’t manage to pierce the car's roof.”

“Next, staying up here while fighting is the best course. Although I want to fight Kirigi 1 on 1, the situation didn’t call for it. There was also another five mutant ninjas on those cars. Fighting them together will consume me most of my energy. I need to kill them before I fight Kirigi personally.”

Thinking of her plan, she closed her eyes and sense the energy on those incoming cars. She can see the middle of it has thick chi energy, she can guess that’s where Kirigi is. She tried to concentrate and slowly, the energy slowly became shape like a human figure. There were three figures and seems to have a different color of energy making her frown. But she looks directly at the weakest one, according to master Stick, Hiroshi was just a normal henchman. So maybe the weakest was Hiroshi.

“Well, if it’s wrong…I’m going to kick that old man’s balls”

She began gathering energy to the kunai she’s holding, currently, she’s holding 8 kunai together, she wants to try and copy Bullseye skill and how he throws his darts at her. It was the most near-death she experience, and she cherishes every single memory of it. It reminds her not to lose her head because someone can kill her anytime if she let her guard down.

With mind enhancement going all out, she calculates where the best to throw the kunai. Suddenly she bulges her eyes out and throw the first one in the middle of the car, she watches as the kunai pierce the thick metal but it didn’t reach her target, but it managed to leave enough hole to fit a kunai, not hesitate a bit, she throws together all kunai in each target giving a nano-second interval before throwing another set of kunai.

She inspects her target from her sense, she can see that she manages to kill him, the other six enhance kunai was thrown at each driver of the private car, after a few seconds, she watches as three-car flip and roll several times before they stop. Other cars around them began to stop and drivers began to leave the car in confusion.

The middle car door was thrown open and two figures suddenly emerge from it fast. It was kirigi and a woman. When he looks up, he looks angry and shouted at her.

“Elektra!”

She looks down and watches him pull out his katana from the scabbard he has been holding. She notices that the other mutants from the other cars were starting to get out. She pulled another eight kunai and start charging them.

Kirigi almost bulge his eyes when he felt the intense energy from her hand.

“I won't let you!” then he became a blur and start climbing the bridge fast, the other woman run and starts climbing the bridge too.

“Kirigi seems to have been blinded by his hate and start climbing the bridge without a plan.” Then she looks to those mutant ninjas that start to climb the tower.”

“The one I have worried about is that muscle guy in the movie which has thick skin, to make sure, I will throw two kunai at him. Except for him and Kirikigi, all the rest were cannon fodders.” she looks at each of the mutants starts climbing up the bridge.

“I guess this is enough” she looks at the eight enhance kunai and starts using her brain enhancement again. She began throwing them in the target route. She watches as one by one was pierce in the head, making them fall down the bridge. She watches as the big guy hit by the enhance kunai but it barely scratches his neck, thankfully, she was prepared for this. The big guy looks up only to see a flying kunai heading to his head, to be specific, his eyes. He was too dumb to block his face or move his head making his death inevitable.

Joan saw a rated-18 scene were a kunai buried on his eyes until it sinks deeper inside his head. The big guy stop struggling suddenly and became limp making him drop under the bridge creating a large crater due to his physique.

She observes every member of the mutant ninja makes sure everyone was dead, she nodded in satisfaction when she was sure they were down for good. She looks up at Kirigi who was now able to reach the top. The blur vanishes replace by a man looking grim.

She uses [Observe] on him and checks his character stats;

Base on the stats and his skill, he was focused on his two katana, with his super-speed and [high sense] skill, she doubts she can ambush him like what she did to his father. With this two skill, he can dodge the kunai fast before it hit him. Then the only way to beat this guy is to fight him mano o mano.

She then brought out two new sai gifted to her by master Stick personally before she came here.

Without further ado, she suddenly rushes and attacks him, Kirigi became dignified, then he too rushes like wind, they both clash trying to overtake each other.

“I like to hear your last words but my energy is getting near the critical level, so let's finish this fast.”

She activates her body enhancement three times, her mind enhancement, and her weapon enchantment together. Time slows down, kirigi seems not affected by the time slow, but she knows, this is how fast he is.

Using her mind enhancement, she tried to find his weakness, while fighting at him, she looks surprised because her sai can’t even leave a chip on his sword. She wonders what kind of sword he is using. They battle in intense for a few seconds, each of them trying to outdo each other. Not gaining a bit advantage, but clearly, Joan was on the losing side because of the continuous use of weapon enchantment, her energy was almost empty. Clearly, Kirigi knows this because he was getting aggressive more and more.

“I guess I need to bet!” she said to herself

As the two cross blades, Joan releases every energy inside her and transform it to a strong shock and release it around her making kirigi temporarily affected for a second, but it’s enough for her, she jumped high and put the two sai together to his neck. Kirigi tremble as if releasing from the spell, he was about to lift his katana but stop when she pulls away and stumble backward.

“You-“

“I’m not stupid to give you a chance,” she said while she stuck her tongue.

His eyes bulge and point at her while shivering, then he drops down on the metal floor with his eyes fully open. Anyone can see that he died with injustice base on his expression.

She sighs and lay on the metal floor looking up the bright sky.

She can hear the sound of police car approaching here, but she still didn’t move as if waiting for something to happen.

“Ding”

“Mission complete:

After a serious investigation, you finally kill the murderer of your mother, giving you peace of mind.

World mission complete:

“Would you like to get back to the [Lobby]?”

“[Yes] or [No]”

“What if I don’t get back?” she mutters

“You will be given 1 day to complete your preparation, after that whether you like it or not, you will be a force to be sent to [Lobby].”

She sighs and pulls out her phone and calls someone. When the call connected, she heard her dad’s voice

“Hey, dad? I decided to go away for a while, I want to travel around the world with myself. Don’t worry I’ll take good care of myself so don’t worry. Please take care of yourself okay?”

She listens for a while then smiles when he said, he will be sending his bodyguards to accompany her.

“Suit yourself dad…got to go…Bye…”

Then she ends the call and intertwines, in the end, she decided to say goodbye to someone properly even if it's on the phone.

In the living room, Matt was currently studying while holding a book when he heard the familiar ring tone. He put the book down and immediately stood up and answer the call.

“Hello?”

He can hear the sound of the wind and the soft breathing at the other side,

“Elektra?”

“…Matt”

“Elektra are you okay? Is something wrong?”

“Nothing’s wrong.”

Matt frown when he heard the tone of voice of Elektra, she sounds sad

“Then what’s the matter?”

“I just want to say goodbye”

Matt suddenly became confuse.

“What do you mean?”

“I have been ordered by Stick”

Suddenly there was a sinking feeling that what he was about to hear.

Matt rubs his forehead.

“Elektra talk to me”

“I need to go to a far place…It will be very long before we see each other again.”

“Can you tell me where is that place is? Maybe I can visit you sometimes.” Matt pinches his fist trying to calm himself.

“I can’t Matt, it was an undercover job. I can’t tell anyone where I am going”

“Why didn’t you tell me yesterday?”

“I don’t want to say goodbye to you”

Matt suddenly stop breathing

“You knew you were going somewhere far away and you didn’t tell me?”

“Sorry, Matt- “

“Fuck your sorry, I thought you trusted me, am I wrong?”

Elektra didn’t say anything and just sigh.

“Goodbye Matt, please take good care of yourself.” Then the call ended.

Matt suddenly became awake and tried calling Elektra back. But all call goes to service, meaning the phone was turn already off. Matt looks at the phone in his hand and put a hand to his face and sob.
