The next day, she began to joins morning exercise. It was a simple set of movements very similar to Master stick teaching; in horse stance, you need to wield your fist while maintaining the stance for hours. She can see students shivering while maintaining the form. After that, they will be taught how to use a various set of weapons. There was a different weapon they can choose but there were just three forms of weapons;

The swords, dagger and sui belongs to the short-range combat weapon;

Spear, pike, and rod belong to the middle to long-range combat weapon.

Then there is a long range weapon like kunai, bow, and javelin.

The trainee was given a choice which weapon suit them most, Joan as a system holder of course choose them all. It will be a waste just to pick one when you can learn all instead.

Although the instructors were speechless they didn't say anything and let the trainee do what they want. All the trainee here was picked from the best across the world, but only a few chosen people can master more than three weapons of their choices. This is a method to let the child know the error of their way, and that's how they guide them to their proper path.

After her lesson has ended, she was led to a small Japanese house near a pond. When she enter inside, there was only a set of a tea set in the middle of the tatami. Stone was sitting at the left side of the tea set while holding a warm cup.

She bows in greetings and sits on the right side. She didn't say anything while waiting for Stone to finish her tea. In the pond, the sound of bamboo clacking to each other and the sound of flowing water in spring wash her mind. She unconsciously relaxes making her strained mind relax.

Stone nod gently

"It's good to relax sometimes, hard work is essential in learning martial arts, but if we forced our body to our limit that body can't take, sooner than later, it will be destroyed from the inside."

She lay the cup on the table and look at her.

Joan just tilt her head in confusion, to tell the truth, she's here to learn martial arts not to gain enlightenment and gain immortality bullshit but she didn't say anything and waited for stone to say her piece.

"There were many applications of this chi, it can cause destruction, but it can also give life. It depends on the user how they use this."

Every day, she will do the routine process of attending classes in martial arts and learning chi from Stone. Learning the chi was difficult because the concept of life energy to her was blurred. Thankfully, after her observation level up to E, as she managed to observe it, and she was surprised to find that what so-called chi energy is bio-electric energy in human language. Bio-electric energy is electricity that flows into the body. It can be said that bio-electric energy is the fuel of the human body. Without it, the body won't function normally, like the thinking process, body movement, and cellular reproduction.

After that day, she began to learn any related knowledge to bio-electric energy, deepening her knowledge of how the chi works. Slowly she began to know how chi produces. One evening, she imagines the electricity on her hand getting out of her palm, slowly electrical energy began to gather at her fingers, beads of sweat began to pour on Joan's forehead but she bit her lips and continue. When she almost empties her bio-electricity on her hands, her mind began to stop and blank out. The next day, when she woke up groggy. She checks her blue screen and surprise but disappointed when she didn't learn any chi skills instead what she learns is [Bio-Electric energy]

She imagines herself transforming to a sith while throwing lightning everywhere...

"Now I can become a Jedi..." then she laughs hollowly then sigh in disappointment.

"Do I have to maximize my meditation to increase my Wis?" she murmurs

She doubts if she can increase her meditation skills, she can feel the meditation has a lot more potential but it stop ranking for some reason.

"It this what they called bottleneck?"

If this is the bottleneck how does she break it?

"So little knowledge..." she sighs and observes herself, she found that her energy was filled with half thanks to meditation.

"Looks like I need full energy to use [Bio-Electric energy]. Without the endurance and meditation skills, my body almost stops functioning."

Joan stretch like a cat, not caring for the stares at of what she's getting around her. The ray of the sunlight shine on the window giving her a bright aura making those teenage boys in awe.

She looks sideways at her classmate, Matt Murdock. He was handsome, have an athletic build, smart, and funny. Almost all the qualities of the perfect man he almost has except...he were blind.

The girls were almost disappointed when they found him flawed making her snicker. Although he was atop of their class, no girl wants to interact with him, except if they want a piece of him.

She suddenly remembers why she's here.

It was the last month of summer and the students began to pack so they can get home to their family. Currently, she was sparring with the different opponents. Since years of practice, her name was almost renowned in the Chase headquarters. They call her a prodigy due to her skills, speed, and strength. She was almost unbeatable except for a few masters who she tried to spar only ended up on the floor not knowing east from west.

Five years ago, all of her stats were stuck at the bottleneck making her progress halt. Knowing she can't pass the boundary for some reason, she focuses on mastering her bio-electric skills earning her the skills of [Bio-electro-telekinetic], [Bio-electro body enhancement], and [Bio-electro enchantment].

It may be sound overpowered skills, but due to the limitation of her stats, what she can do with these skills are very limited. She can only use it when she was in a dangerous situation. When she tried to use three skills at once, she almost burns herself to death due to so excess electrical energy running on her body, due to her limit, she can't handle too much energy making her almost died at the scene. Thankfully to master Stone, she managed to survive by removing the excess energy on her. Stone reprimands her several times not to do it again. The good news is she learned [Electricity Resistance] reducing the damage by 5% to any kind of electricity. It was the only good thing that came out after her reckless behavior.

With pure skills, she steamrolls everyone without mercy. After looking around finding everyone on the floor, she bows to them then approaches Stick who was currently watching silently.

"Master" she salutes to him

"Um" he turns around and gestures her to follow him, she nods.

They stop on the pavilion facing the ocean. She looks at the view of the peaceful sea.

"How are your disciple?"

"Hmm"

He sits at the stone bench and closes his eyes.

"I heard your progress this year, this old man was very satisfied."

"Thank you, master."

He opens his eyes and looks in her direction

Then he looks at her again

She didn't say anything and waited for the old man. Soon Stick pulls out a document from his jacket and hands it to her. Curious, she looks at the document and startled.

"He will be your first target; you have only one mission. Kill him."

She looks at the document that handed to her; she saw a familiar picture of the actor who portrays daredevil.

She needs to kill Matt Murdock Aka Daredevil

The students start to exit the classroom; she looks at Matt who was now putting his books on his bag. She stood up and exit the room, but before she exits, she felt someone staring at her back. She has a hunch who it was but she chooses to ignore it and exit the room.
