“I’ll stay and chat for a while.” Lilica replied.

“Okay then.” Kazuya said as he gave her a light kiss on the forehead. As his hands weren’t free, he couldn’t touch her face and accurately give her a kiss on the mouth, so he had to settle for her forehead.

After giving her a kiss, Kazuya scanned his eyes across the room sharply, especially at the male employees, as if saying, “She’s my woman! Don’t even think of talking to her!”

“See you later, my wife.” Kazuya looked at Lilica gently and affectionately before he strode out of the room.

Lilica stood there as she blushed lightly. Did he have to kiss in front of everyone like that? In contrast to her reaction, all the employees were either shocked, stunned, speechless, envious, blushing, or fangirling. He had dropped so many bombs during this few minutes! It seems like this newly found flirty side of the CEO had made the girls that were originally fond of him started fangirling. Who knew the CEO could be so suave!

“Right, what were we talking about again?” Lilica turned to ask Suzuna whose eyes were so wide that it seemed like it could pop out.

“Suzuna?” Lilica called her again when she saw that there was no response.

Lilica’s voice brought the whole room back to reality. The girls all ran to flock around her while the guys didn’t know whether they should flock around her too after Kazuya had given them a warning glare.

“Lilica, what just happened just now? Are you guys going out? Why did the CEO say ‘our’ child? Does this mean that you’re really pregnant? Wait, he also said ‘wife’ so you two are already married?! Does this mean that you’re now our lady boss? Wait, are you going to resign and become a house wife?” One of the girls from Kazuya’s fan club asked enthusiastically.

“Is that true?” another chimed in.

“No way! You must have misheard! There’s no way our prince is taken!” another girl argued.

“But I also heard him say ‘wife’! Wait, was I hallucinating?”

“Look at her stomach! You can tell that it’s slightly bumpy. She must be pregnant!”

“It could be that she ate too much!”

“…” Faced with countless questions and these enthusiastic girls’ arguments, Lilica felt a little overwhelmed that she had to sit down to wait for the rest to calm down slightly.

After a while, the argument still didn’t die down so Lilica decided to stop their endless ongoing discussions.

“Ahem! I’ll tell you what happened so can you all calm down?!” Lilica shouted so the girls could stop yapping.

When they heard Lilica, practically everyone in the room turned their ears towards her so they could catch this juicy piece of gossip!

“Yes, Kazuya and I are married to each other. I’m also currently pregnant with his child. And no, I am not going to resign. It’s just that I’m moving my desk and stuff to his office to work there. There! Satisfied?” Lilica answered all of their questions in one breath.

Silence followed as all of them were shocked even though the truth was before them just a moment ago. One of them even drop a pen from shock!

The sound of pen dropping made everyone return to their senses. The girls became even more excited as they shouted their questions, “Since when were you guys married?! How come we weren’t invited? Wait, how did you two even end up marrying in the first place?”

“Was the rumor true that you were pregnant out of wedlock then? Does that mean that you were pregnant way before you got married?!”

“I don’t think that she’s pregnant before they got married! Such things only happen in movies! Most of the times the guy won’t take responsibility of the kid if they weren’t married. Our dear CEO is such a careful and responsible person, I’m sure he didn’t get her pregnant before they got married!”

“…” the discussions continued on with no signs of them stopping.

“Listen to me! Your discussions are making me have a headache!” Lilica exclaimed in an attempt to get them to stop talking.

“We just got married last week and yes, your dear CEO made me pregnant, so we got married! Before that, we were kind of attracted to each other, so everything worked out fine.” Lilica shouted as she felt annoyed from their endless yapping. Why were these girls so gossipy anyways? She shouldn’t have stayed behind to talk to Suzuna! Otherwise she would have now been in his office and flirting with him!

The whole department stared at her with their wide eyes, shocked at her sudden outburst. So, she really got pregnant before she was married?

Lilica sighed as she finished her sentence. After seeing their dumbfounded faces, Lilica felt that something was weird and suddenly realized that she had just admitted that her private life was a mess! That was so embarrassing!

Suzuna realized that the atmosphere had gotten awkward, so she quickly grabbed Lilica out of the department office.

“Lilica, tell me the whole story now. How come I didn’t know anything about this? I wasn’t even invited to your wedding! Do you still consider me as a friend?” Suzuna pouted.

“Sorry. We had to get married secretly and was really busy since Kazuya had to go to so many business trips that I forgot to tell you.” Lilica replied apologetically. Of course, she couldn’t tell her what actually happened.

“Fine, I’ll believe you. How many months are you into your pregnancy now? Judging from the size, I know that it’s not just two to three months old.” Suzuna said as she poked playfully at Lilica’s stomach.

“Well… 5 months…” Lilica replied.

“5 months! How could you keep such big news from me for so long! Wait, you said that you were just married a week ago… Girl! How could you delay your wedding for that long?! I can’t believe you! Did you even get to go on a honeymoon yet? With such a big belly, travelling far must be dangerous.” Suzuna went on.

“Honeymoon… I totally forgot about our honeymoon!” Lilica exclaimed. The thought of a honeymoon was not even in her mind since she was always wary of the enemy, making her not want to travel far.

“No honeymoon?! Does the CEO even love you? Is he acting? Does he want only the child and married you out of responsibility only? I’ll go talk to him now!” Suzuna said as she turned in the direction of Kazuya’s office. She had always been an impulsive person.

“Wait! We both just forgot about it! We were both so busy that it just slipped our mind.” Lilica quickly stopped Suzuna before she could storm off.

“Really?” Suzuna looked at Lilica with eyes filled with suspicion.

“Really! I’ll go talk to him about it now, okay?” Lilica replied.

“Okay.” Suzuna nodded as she saw Lilica off in front of Kazuya’s office.
