After about an hour, the sweet punishment ended with Ven feeling a little sluggish. Ventina had sucked so much of his energy!

“Are you okay?” Ventina asked, feeling a little guilty.

“I’m fine. Let’s go down to the dining room. I need to restore my energy.” Ven said as he put walked to the walk-in closet in his room to take out a shirt.

Seeing his bare back somehow made the fire in her heart lit again. His back was so muscular and sexy! Ventina stood up and followed him, her eyes fixed on his sexy back.

Feeling the intense stare, Ven turned to look at Ventina with a confused look. Why was she staring so intently at him?

“What’s wrong?” Ven asked.

“Your back looks so sexy…” Ventina replied instinctively before she covered her mouth shyly.

Ven chuckled at her response before he walked to her and held her shoulders and led her inside the closet as he said, “What are you getting embarrassed for? I know that deep inside you’re a closet pervert.”

Ven poked her forehead playfully.

“Hey! I’m not a pervert!” Ventina pouted before she pushed him away and walked quickly to her part of the closet.

Ven chuckled as he smiled amusedly before he also went to his part of the closet to dress up.

A few minutes later, the two of them went down to the dining room, holding hands.

Ven’s mother and father were in the dining room too. Mrs. Lester saw the lovely scene and immediately, her mouth curved up, forming a teasing grin. How she wished Ventina was her daughter-in-law already!

“Mother, Father.” Ven greeted his parents.

“Good morning, auntie, uncle.” Ventina also greeted them politely.

“Good morning, darling. Come eat your breakfast.” Mrs. Lester completely ignored Ven. Se had blamed Ven for not quickly proposing to Ventina. Such a lovely girl was hard to come by!

Ventina was pulled away by Mrs. Lester so that she could be seated next to her. Mrs. Lester would always do this so the two of them had already gotten used to it. At first, Ventina would look pleading at Ven and Ven would shake his head helplessly as a reply.

The four of them ate their breakfast happily. After a while, Ven saw that everyone was already finishing up so he thought that it would be fine to tell his parents that Ventina had agreed to his proposal.

“Mother, Father. There’s something I need to tell you two.” Ven said in a serious tone.

“Speak.” Mr. Lester said as he wiped his mouth after finishing the plate.

“Tina has accepted my proposal. I want to discuss with you two about our marriage.” Ven reported as he still felt happy that Ventina had accepted his proposal.

“Really? I was wondering when you two would finally get married. Seeing Lilica’s wedding made me want to hold a wedding for you two, you know?” Mrs. Lester chimed in excitedly as she had already started planning how she should renovate Ven's room for the couple. She had even thought of which room would be suitable for her grandchildren!

“Auntie, I also want you to be in charge of the wedding. I’m sure it would be marvelous!” Ventina said as she revealed an innocent smile.

“No! Don’t call me Auntie anymore! Just call me Mother already! Do you know how much I wanted you to call me Mother ever since I first met you?” Mrs. Lester said as she looked at Ventina seriously.

“Okay… Mother…” Ventina replied as she blushed shyly. She hadn’t used the word ‘mother’ for nearly twenty years that it made her feel slightly shy.

“Good! So, when are you two going to get married?” Mrs. Lester asked curiously.

“When do you want to get married?” Ven turned to ask Ventina.

“Well, I’ll be taking the exam for the imperial doctor in around two months, so I was thinking somewhere after that.” Ventina replied. Seeing Lilica being pregnant made her feel that she should take the exam so that in the future, she would be able to help out Lilica. Ventina was the type of person who gave it her all to help those close to her. She also loved challenges so taking the exam would test her abilities too.

“Okay! I’ll gather some materials for the wedding and see if you guys like it. I’ll make your wedding the best one ever!” Mrs. Lester said with a smile. By now, she was talking to Ventina only, making Ven think, “Mother… Am I really your child? Why are you ignoring me? This is also my wedding…”

“Two months may be a little too far. Ven needs to go on a mission in the human realm from next week onwards. We don’t know when he’ll be back.” Mr. Lester spoke up as he remembered that he had received a direct order from the king this morning.

“Huh? What mission?” Ven asked as he felt confused. Why wasn’t he informed of this?

Ven immediately knew what the mission was about. He had heard about the details from Kazuya during the time they were preparing for the royal wedding. He then remembered that Kazuya had told him that he would be involved in the search for the enemy.
