Kazuya carried Lilica to the nearest medical room and made her go through several examinations worriedly. Lilica’s family also followed in worriedly.

After several hours, the doctor finally came in with the results, her face looking grave.

“How was the results?” Kazuya asked worriedly. Just from looking at the doctor’s face, Kazuya had a bad feeling about the results already.

“Firstly, the second princess wasn’t injured anywhere. I’ve concluded that she had fainted from fear and feeling traumatized.” the doctor said with a stern face. Although it was good that Lilica was safe, why was the doctor still making a grave face?

Kazuya felt relieved when he heard that Lilica was fine. However, seeing the doctor’s expression, he felt like this wasn’t all.

“What about the baby?” Kazuya asked, feeling a little fearful. He felt like the doctor’s grave expression may be related to the health of his child.

The room turned silent before the doctor continued, “The second options is to transfer your energy to the second princess, Second Prince.”

Although they had perform the blood exchanging ceremony, if the blood transfer didn’t work properly and one of them died, the other person wouldn’t die but instead, that person would gain the sum of the two lifespans.

“Are you sure?” the doctor asked, not sure if the king and queen would actually even allow Kazuya to transfer his energy to Lilica.

“Yes.” Kazuya answered determinedly without any hesitation. Although they could let other people transfer energy, Lilica’s body had been rejecting other magical energies. The doctor had concluded that Kazuya’s energy was the most suitable since their babies would help her body accept Kazuya’s energy.

The doctor looked towards the king and queen, looking for permission. Kazuya was the second prince so they will have to accept the fact that his life may be at risk from performing the energy transfer.

The both of them nodded as consent. They knew that they couldn’t stop Kazuya once he had made a decision anyway. Especially not when it concerned Lilica’s life.
