At the palace

Lilica woke up, feeling refreshed and expectant. Today was finally the day she and Kazuya would become family officially. Just the thought of it made her grin nonstop.

Just as she was about to go shower, someone knocked on her door.

Knock. Knock.

Lilica turned to look at the door as she said, “Come in.”

Several maids then came into the room, making Lilica feel confused. The head maid then said, “Second Princess, we will be helping you get ready for the wedding today. Please follow us.”

The maid then bowed and exited the room, leading Lilica to the bathroom. Lilica followed them in obediently as she knew that she had to go through many steps before she could wear her wedding gown.

The maids led her to a pool that was contained Kazuya’s diluted blood. It was a tradition for the bride to bathe in a pool filled with the groom’s diluted blood and the same vice versa for the groom.

After dipping in the pool for not too long, the maids wiped her body as she had to change to a milky pool. This pool was a pool that was filled with herbs that helped with pregnancy. Normally, this pool wasn’t included in the wedding process but since Lilica was pregnant, she had to dip in this pool too.

Lilica only managed to relax in the pool for a few minutes and she had to move to the massage lounge. This massage was for the bride to relax since most brides were nervous on their wedding day. The groom could choose what scent they want their bride to be massaged with and the bride vice versa. Kazuya had chosen roses for her since he felt that roses were perfect for Lilica and the scent boosted her sexiness! Of course, this reason was unknown to the others.

After the massage, was transported to the fitting room to put on her wedding gown. Her wedding gown and accessories were all prepared by the queen, except for her underwear since this was what Lilica had promised Kazuya.

When she reached the fitting room, the maids came forward with her clothes. Lilica decided to leave her underwear to Kazuya since she didn’t want him to be moody if she chose the wrong one. The maid took out Lilica’s underwear before blushing slightly, trying to help Lilica put the lingerie on.

Lilica saw how the maid was slightly blushing and was curious as to what Kazuya had chosen for her to wear. She then looked to the lingerie in the maid’s hands and immediately blushed.

The lingerie he chose was very revealing! The tiny black laces only covered the area necessary, meaning it almost didn’t cover anything. If she was to wear this, it would be even better to not wear anything!

Now that the maids had all seen which lingerie Kazuya had chosen for her, who knows what kind of rumors would start flying about in the palace!

Lilica coughed awkwardly before she looked at the maid pleadingly to quickly help her get dressed. It was a tradition that the bride and groom shall not do anything by themselves on the wedding day. This meant that Lilica couldn’t dress up by herself even if she wanted to.

The maids saw her pleading gaze and quickly helped her wear her lingerie. Lilica caught a glance of her figure in the mirror and thought, "How did hubby even know that this one makes my figure look better?”

After putting the lingerie on, the maids brought out her wedding gown. As soon as Lilica saw the dress, she gasped from amazement. The dress looked like it came out of fairy tale! The dress had countless diamonds embedded on it, the color was that of a pale blue, making it look adorable, the intricate laces made the dress seem noble.

The maids helped Lilica put on the dress carefully. When Lilica had finished putting on the dress, she looked at herself in the mirror and felt like she was a princess. The dress felt comfortable even though it was filled with laces. It was an off-shoulder dress, just as Kazuya had requested, not revealing. Although if Kazuya had seen this, he may say that it was revealing.

The maids then came into the room with some accessories, together with the queen.

“Lilica, how do you like the dress?” The queen asked Lilica with a graceful smile.

“Mother! Thank you very much for the dress. It’s very beautiful!” Lilica replied as she couldn’t help but admire the stunning dress she was wearing.

“We’re family. Of course, I’ll want my daughter to look beautiful. Here, I’ve gathered accessories that goes well with the dress. Is there any you like in particular?” The queen said as she gestured for the maids to show Lilica the accessories.

Countless valuable looking accessories entered Lilica’s eyes at the same time. Lilica couldn’t choose them at first but then one necklace entered her line of sight. The necklace had a blue gem pendant, surrounded by countless shining diamonds. Lilica felt an affinity with this necklace, perhaps it was because the gem was the same color as that of Kazuya’s deep eyes.

The queen noticed that Lilica was looking at this particular necklace that had a simple design but was very valuable.

“This gem here is a very rare gem only found in the demon realm. As it is very rare, it doesn’t even have a name since it isn’t so easy to find. This was the second one ever found in the demon realm. The first one is with my mother-in-law, your grandmother-in-law.” The queen explained with a smile.

The queen then took the necklace and placed it on Lilica.

“Mother! I can’t wear such a valuable gem!” Lilica tried to stop the queen from putting the necklace on her. Although she liked the necklace, it was far too priceless for her.

“It’s fine! You’re already one of my daughters! My daughter needs to look her best on her wedding day!” The queen stubbornly said as she finished putting the necklace on Lilica.

“Mother…” Lilica still tried to refuse.

“If you like anything, I won’t say no to it! So, you don’t need to feel courteous! Today’s your wedding! Feel free to choose anything you like.” The queen said as she adjusted the necklace and put on a satisfied smile.

Lilica revealed a helpless smile before she started choosing other accessories.
