Coincidentally, Kazuki was also called in by the king so Lilienne was also free. The two of them decided to accompany each other until their husband were done talking.

“Lilienne, I heard that you were pushed off the cliff. Are you okay?” Lilica asked. He had heard all about the incident from Kazuya.

“I’m fine. My little baby protected me.” Lilienne replied as she stroked her protruding stomach lovingly.

“The baby’s already five months old, right? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?” Lilica asked as reference.

“Hmm… Except for the occasional morning sickness, it’s okay, I guess. I heard that the baby will start kicking at around the 6th month. I guess that’s when I’m going to start feeling uncomfortable.” Lilienne replied as she sighed but her eyes were full of affection.

“I wonder if your baby will be a boy or a girl.” Lilica smiled as she looked at Lilienne’s stomach. She was looking forward to the birth of her future niece or nephew.

“I want a boy but Kazuki wants a girl. I think that no matter what, the first born should be a boy! I want him to grow up and help Kazuki with his work.” Lilienne said as she imagined what it would be like if there was a mini version of Kazuki.

“How many children are you planning on having?” Lilica chuckled. It seems the twins both want to have a daughter to dote on.

“One.” Lilienne replied. Although she knew that Kazuki wanted a daughter and she wanted a son, she wanted to dote on her only child. Having too many children seemed tiring. She couldn’t possibly divide her love equally.

“Then, what if the child is a girl? Will you have another one?” Lilica asked as she thought to herself, ‘I wonder how many children I should have?’

“No. I think just one of them is already going to be hectic.” Lilienne replied helplessly. She wasn’t someone who loved children but surprisingly, she was looking forward to her own baby.

“What about you? How many children do you plan to have?” Lilienne turned to ask Lilica.

“Hmm… Kazuya wants a daughter, but I want a son, so I guess I’ll be having two children? I might change my mind in the future though.” Lilica replied as she looked at her little bump lovingly.

The queen, who was walking by joined in their conversation.

“I want tons of grandchildren!” The queen exclaimed brightly as she looked at the two of them expectantly and continued, “Unfortunately, I couldn’t give birth any more children after the twins, so I didn’t have any daughter. Now that I’ll be having grandchildren, I want both girls and boys!”

The queen’s nurse was one of the spies back then. The queen was poisoned while she was pregnant with the twins but fortunately, the twin’s magical power was high, so the poison didn’t affect the three of them. However, there were after effects. After poison was found in her body, they did their best to extract the poison and was successful. But the queen became unable to give birth after she gave birth to the twins since the poison had already affected some of her organs. The nurse was fired, and the royal family became warier of who they employ. They would run a thorough background check, but spies were still able to infiltrate the castle. Perhaps, it was because the spies became spies after being employed by the royal family.

The three women chatted happily, waiting for their husbands to finish talking about serious business.

On the husbands’ side

“You called us, Father?” The twins asked in sync.

“Yes. There has been results on the search for our enemy. The clues we got from Lacey made our search progress a lot. Right now, our technical team in preparing to trace the phone number. The phone number had special magic that couldn’t be cancelled placed on it. The number cannot be dialed from another phone. Therefore, I’ll be making the call myself, and once the call goes through, we will immediately trace it back to its location to pinpoint the enemy’s hideout.” The king explained.

“Father, you don’t need to make the call yourself. I’ll call him instead.” Kazuki said, worried that something will happen to his father.

“Father, Lacey’s phone wasn’t blocked?” Kazuya asked. He believed the enemy should be smart enough to block a phone that was in his hands.

“Kazuki, we don’t know what can happen on the phone call. You’re the future king. I cannot let you do it. Kazuya, the phone was indeed not blocked. Perhaps the enemy made a mistake.” The king answered the twins one at a time.

“Father! All the more reason for me to take the call! I don’t want anything to happen to you!” Kazuki argued back.

“Father, I’ll make the call myself. That way, both of you won’t have any problems.” Kazuya suggested bravely. He loved his family dearly and didn’t want anything to happen to them. He would rather put himself in danger than let his family meet danger.

“No! I don’t want anything to happen to you too!” Kazuki disagreed.

“Can’t we let one of the employees make the call?” Kazuki asked his father.

“No. I believe that we should settle this ourselves.” The king replied as he looked at Kazuki and continued, “Kazuya, can I leave this to you?” The king would rather do it himself since he didn’t want to bring harm to his dear sons. However, he knew that although Kazuya looked cold, he was very head strong. Once he set his mind on something, he would never change his mind.

“Yes, Father. Leave it to me.” Kazuya replied sternly. As Kazuya had already accepted the job, as his twin, Kazuki knew that he couldn’t stop his brother. The three of them headed to the room full of computers. The technical team was sitting on their respective positions, ready to act. The team was composed of only people they trusted so there were surely no spies in the room.

“We’ll begin the operation soon! Get ready!” The king ordered everyone as he gave the phone to Kazuya, entrusting him with the mission.
