“Well, I do, but are you really okay with that?” Ventina asked, worried.

“I’m fine. I’ve completely moved on. Don’t worry.” Ven said as he teasingly patted her head, as a payback for just ow.

“Hey! I’m older than you! Don’t pat my head!” Ventina said as she pouted her sexy lips. She then walked to Lilica’s table to say hi to her.

“Lilica! Long time no see~” Ventina greeted Lilica when she reached her table.

“Tina! Long time no see!” Lilica exclaimed excitedly when she saw her.

“How’s your body? Is there a bump yet?” Ventina asked happily.

“Yeah. Look how swollen I’ve become!” Lilica complained.

“That’s normal and this is just the beginning. Make sure to take good care of your body.” Ventina said in a doctor-like tone.

“Okay. Anyways, how’s the demon world?” Lilica asked cheerfully.

“It’s so much more fun than the human world! Everything I eat is just so good and I feel a lot more carefree and safer here.” Ventina replied, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

“Good for you. Oh. By the way, this is Sharon. She’s childhood friends with Kazuya, the second prince. Sharon, this is Ventina my doctor when I was in the human world.” Lilica introduced the two of them to each other.

“Nice to meet you. Just call me Tina.” Ventina said in a friendly tone.

“Nice to meet you too.” Sharon replied in a friendly tone.

“Hey! Did you forget about me?” Ven said, wanting to be introduced too.

“Ven! You’re here too! Sharon. This is my childhood friend, Ven.” Lilica introduced him.

“? Are you guys related in some way? Your names are very similar.” Sharon asked the two of them. When she saw Ven’s handsome face, her maiden heart throbbed, and she felt attracted to him. She could tell that they were from the same world, the military world. Even though she had a little crush for Zeke, she hadn’t fallen that deep yet, so she was keeping her choices wide. If Ven and Ventina were a couple, she would back out.

“No! We’re not related. We’re just friends.” Ven quickly corrected her as he also felt some kind of connection to Sharon. Somehow, he didn’t want her to misunderstand. Ven knew that he had moved on, so he also wanted to know more people, hoping to find a new love quickly.

When Ventina heard him deny any possible relationship between them, she felt like her heart was stabbed many times. She felt even more hurt when she saw that the two of them were kind of in their own world. She felt vexed that even though she met Ven first, he had never stared with such attraction before.

Lilica, who was sitting there observing the situation, didn’t know who she should cheer for. At first, she was cheering for Ventina but now that Sharon came into the picture, she didn’t know what to do. Although she knew that Sharon had a little crush on Zeke, she wasn’t really attached to him emotionally yet.

“Let’s all sit together! Have you guys eaten yet?” Lilica spoke up, interrupting the weird atmosphere that was going on.

“We haven’t eaten yet.” Ventina replied, feeling like she had no appetite anymore.

“Then you guys order then. I’ll go to the toilet first. Sharon, can you go to the toilet with me?” Lilica said as she dragged Sharon away. Sharon and Ven were staring at each other and Lilica had decided to cheer for Ventina since she knew that Ventina was trying to win Ven’s love. Anyways, Sharon had Zeke, so it was probably fine.

“Okay…” Sharon replied, her eyes still on Ven’s charming eyes.

In front of the toilet

“Sharon, can you do m a favor?” Lilica asked.

“What favor?” Sharon asked back.

“Well… the thing is Tina actually likes Ven but hasn’t confessed yet. So… can you not like him romantically? I know that this is really rude of me, but I’ve been cheering her for a while. I don’t want her feelings to go in vain.” Lilica pleaded.

“! …Okay.” Sharon replied, knowing full well how it feels like to have a crush on someone for a long time. She wasn’t that attracted to Ven yet, so it was fine too. Ven’s status in her heart just now was ‘a little more than a friend’ so it wasn’t hard to retract her feelings.

“I’ll back out for her. I still haven’t gotten to know him that much anyways so it’s fine.” Sharon continued, crossing him out from the ‘Possible Boyfriend Candidate’ list in her heart.

“I’m so sorry.” Lilica apologized, feeling a little bad. She knew what she was doing was very rude.

“It’s fine. I still have Zeke anyways, even if I don’t have time to run after him.” Sharon said sadly.
