At the palace

Kazuya woke up to bright morning light from his bedroom window. He turned his face to the right, meeting Lilica's adorable sleeping face. He revealed a charming smile as he used his strong arms to wrap around her figure and cuddle her tightly. As if disturbed by the light movement, Lilica furrowed her brows slightly. Kazuya saw her sleepy face and let out a chuckle as he kissed her furrowed brows lightly, as to not wake her up.

Met with the gentle kiss, Lilica's furrowed brows relaxed and she revealed a relaxed smile as she snuggled up closer to his chest, taking in his warmth. Kazuya saw her cute kitten-like movements and grinned even wider. He lowered his head to take in her scent and kissed her soft hair lightly. This floral scent had always made him feel relaxed and at home. As he took in her scent, he hugged her tighter and felt her body warmth. Kazuya had still felt that it was like a dream, Lilica accepting his proposal, she even have his baby in her stomach, his brother woke up from his coma, he and Lilica started planning their wedding, receiving blessings from his parents and friends for their marriage. Although he still had to find some way to convince her parents, many good things still happened continuously. All of it felt too good to be true. It was like something bad was bound to happen. It didn't feel real that everything was going the way he wanted.

With that thought, Kazuya felt a little uneasy. He didn't want to pass his uneasiness to his beloved wife, so he stood up and went to the bathroom to collect his thoughts.

After a while, Lilica sleepily fumbled for the figure that should have been beside her. However, she couldn't find the warmth that she was missing so she slowly opened her eyes. Kazuya wasn't on their bed, which made Lilica confused as to where he had gone to. Lilica was in a dazed and was thinking of possibilities of why he was gone.

Creak

Lilica turned to look at the origin of the sound. Kazuya seemed to have just come back from the bathroom as his hair was still wet and he was wearing a bathrobe.

Seeing his sexy chest slightly exposed, Lilica frowned and said grumpily, "Why are you dressed like that?"

"Hm? Dressed like what?" Kazuya asked confusingly as he walked to her, not knowing what he did wrong. Wasn't it completely normal to wear a bathrobe after a bath?

"Like this!" Lilica pouted her lips and used his bathrobe to cover his sexy chest that still had water drops on it.

"I'm not a woman so isn't fine?" Kazuya asked, not understanding why she would want him to cover his chest up.

"No! I don't want other women to see my husband's naked body! Even if it's just the chest!" Lilica said as he glared at him possessively.

'Oh. So, she was being possessive.' Kazuya thought as he revealed his charming smile once again.

"…I keep telling you that that smile of yours is against the rules…" Lilica said as she hid her blushing face in his chest when she saw his charming smile. We've already had sex so many times so why… What's with this stupid heart of mine?! It's just a smile! Why do I still feel shy and excited?! I really am weak to him…

Kazuya smiled even brighter when he saw how bashful she was. He took the chance that she hid her face from him to wrap her into a tight hug and kissed her head, taking in her scent once again.

The two of them hugged each other, feeling each other's warmth for a while before Lilica noticed that Kazuya was holding something.

"What's that you're holding?" Lilica asked curiously.

"This? It's a blood pack. My breakfast." Kazuya said as he raised the blood pack in his hands and slurped some of it.

"Why do you still need a blood pack when you have me…" Lilica mumbled sulkily, thinking, 'Am I not enough for you?'

As there was almost no distance between them, Kazuya heard her mumble and felt a little guilty, like he was cheating on her even though he wasn't.

"Most vampires use blood packs for their daily meals. The ones that don't use are either the ones with a spouse or ones that are in a relationship." Kazuya explained.

"…Am I not your wife?" Lilica continued to mumble sulkily, feeling like she was the only one who valued their relationship.

"Of course, you are my wife! It's just that I don't want to tire you out by sucking your blood constantly!" Kazuya quickly explained, not wanting to see her lonely face anymore.

"…"

"I also want to drink only your blood! Your blood is so sweet, it's like a drug to me. That's why I'm scared I wouldn't be able to hold myself back." Kazuya further explained when he saw her silent answer.

"…Then promise me that you won't drink blood from blood packs anymore… I don't want another woman's blood in your body…" Lilica said, her voice still sulky.

"I promise! Does that mean it's okay for me to drink your blood then? Even if it makes you feel tired?" Kazuya quickly replied, afraid that his wife would feel upset.

"Yes, or more like, only drink my blood!" Lilica exclaimed determinedly, not wanting his body to have another person's blood, not even a drop of blood. Even Lilica was surprised at her own possessiveness.

"Okay!" Kazuya said, revealing his charming smile once again.
