《Mr. Vampire’s Wife》Chapter 83: Potatoes Are Vegetables Too!

The atmosphere in the room became better after a while. The six of them chatted away happily as they got to know the new member of their group. The six of them (including Lacey) had known each other ever since kindergarten and had been friends ever since then.
Lilica learned many dark secrets of Kazuya from them and Kazuya didn't mind it, since they were going to be married soon, it was fine for her to know everything there is about him. Some of the secrets were actually trivial but embarrassing things like until what age he actually wet his bed, his childhood hero and how he tried to imitate his hero, and many more crazy antics kids usually did.
Lilica also learned that Kazuya had a lot of admirers and was called 'Ice Prince' before, and that many girls tried to confess to him, but he would just walk past them, ignoring everyone. Lilica learned that Kazuya was actually cold towards Lilienne too, even though he loved her. It seems like the young boy didn't know how to show his love, which was cute. This fact actually came as a surprise as Kazuya didn't treat her all that coldly at all, at least that was what she felt.
After a while, the couple excuse themselves since Lilica could see that although Kazuya enjoyed the fact that she was getting closer to his friends, he was annoyed that their date was interrupted. The two of them continued following Kazuya's plan and went to the park for a small walk.
The park was spacious and as it was a weekend, many lovers were on a date and almost everyone in the park had a lover. The atmosphere was very romantic, and some couples were even making out.
The two of them decided to walk near the fountain, as Lilica wanted to take a selfie with him somewhere iconic, to commemorate their first date. Lilica took out her phone and the two of them took a selfie together. Lilica was satisfied with how the picture looked and was about to stand up but was pulled down by Kazuya.

Kazuya clicked his fingers and suddenly, a whole team of professional photographers appeared. Lilica was once again taken aback by the sudden appearance of another group. Kazuya had planned for the professional photographers to take their photo while they were on their date for their pre-wedding photos.
"Let them take some photos for our pre-wedding photos." Kazuya said as he explained gently to Lilica.
"Then, what pose am I supposed to do?" Lilica asked cutely.
"Nothing. Just chat like we always do, and they'll be able to take a nice photo." Kazuya replied. After all, they were professional photographers. If they couldn't take good photos, then how were they called professional?
"Really? Okay then." Lilica smiled at him and continued, "What should we talk about?"
"Anything you want, my wife." Kazuya said as he raised her hand and kissed it gently.
"Hehe~ Then, what's your favorite food? I still don't know it even though we're about to be married." Lilica asked as she was reminded by the fact that she didn't really know anything about him. However, they still had a lifetime together to find out about each other, so it was fine to not rush it.
"I don't really have a favorite I guess… Anything wifey makes for me tastes good!" Kazuya said as he revealed his charming smile once again.
"…That smile of yours is really unfair…" Lilica whispered as she blushed, her heart beating fast.
"How about you? What's your favorite food?" Kazuya asked back.
"Hmm… Probably curry rice? Oh! But I like the kind that's not really spicy and has no vegetable in it. In fact, I hate all vegetables!" Lilica proudly explained her dislike for vegetables.
Kazuya chuckled at how picky she was, wondering if he was the one who cooked the vegetables, would she eat them?

"What if I cooked a vegetable dish for you? Would you eat it?" Kazuya asked curiously.
"Hmm…Umm… That's hard to answer… If it was… potatoes, then maybe?" Lilica replied as she remembered that French fries were made of potatoes and that potatoes were considered vegetables too.
"Pfft! Who would cook potatoes only?" Kazuya laughed at her cute answer.
"French fries! French fries are potatoes only, right?" Lilica retorted.
"Okay, okay. I'll cook some potatoes for you some time then." Kazuya replied, holding back his laughter. He gently stroked her head lovingly as usual and kissed the woman in front of him lightly. She was too cute he couldn't help but steal a kiss.

A beta life
I heard the boys voice before i saw his face. It sounded like the smooth rehearsed kind of voice you hear in the movies, from the dream boat lead character with the too-good-to-be-true looks. I raised my eyes to search for the owner of the beautiful sound. My eyes met his just as he came into view.He stopped in his tracks, bumping into one of the med students he was following, staring straight at Me. "Mate" he said just loud enough for the huge man behind him to stop and stare in the direction of the boys gaze.I felt a sickening feeling deep in my stomach. I had never felt anything like it before, the instant feeling of nausea followed by what i can only describe as a rush of emotion. What a trip. The meds are extra strong today I laughed to myself as I continued to stare at the beautiful dark haired boy. This institution just got a whole lot better if he is a patient
