"You really won't go anywhere? Promise?" Lilica asked insecurely, looking up at his gentle eyes hopefully.
"I promise. So, stop crying! We'll need to have a serious talk later okay? First, I need to get the doctor to check up on you first." Kazuya said gently as he patted her head lovingly and called for the doctor as he stayed by her side all the time.
Together with the doctor, the king and queen also came inside to check on Lilica's condition.
"Lilica! How are you feeling? Does it hurt anywhere?" The queen asked worriedly.
"I'm fine now, mother. I feel a little light headed but that's all." Lilica replied cheerfully.
"That's good… I'll order the servants to make some nutritious meals for you. Just sit back and relax. Don't think about things too much." The queen said as she gave orders to the servants.
After the doctor finished a final check up on her and everything was fine, Kazuya helped her to the dining room to eat something. The both of them hadn't had anything since last night's dinner. The emotional stress that they went through had made them extra hungry.
After they finished their food, it was finally time for them to talk it out. Kazuya held Lilica's hand all the way back to his bedroom. He led her to the bed, even though there were sofas in his room too. To Kazuya, the bed was probably the most comfortable place to talk things out.
There was a stagnant silence in the atmosphere. The both of them didn't dare say a word first, afraid that the other would feel hurt by their words again. Words are indeed the deadliest weapon to the heart after all.
"...Lilica, let's not be like this. Let's talk it all out. This way, the both of us wouldn't continue hurting each other." Kazuya took the initiative to start the conversation.

"Lilica, I really love you, so much so that I can't find other words to describe my feelings. I want to spend my whole lifetime with you. For me, not just anyone was fine. I need you, I want you, you and only you, Lilica, not anyone else." Kazuya said sincerely.
"…Really? Will you never ever betray me? Will your heart really not go back to Lilienne? Will you never love anyone else?" Lilica asked, her eyes full of doubt.
"Really. Earlier when my brother and Lilienne was hugging each other, I only felt happy for them as a brother and friend. There wasn't any jealousy or hurt like in the past. This means that I only see her as a friend now, no more no less."

"I love you, only you, now and forever. I can swear to it. What do you want me to do so you'll be able to believe me?" Kazuya asked gently and patiently.
"I…I don't know…" Lilica replied helplessly. Even Lilica herself didn't know what she wanted.
Kazuya waited for her patiently without rushing her for an answer.
"Umm… Maybe… Show your love to me?" Lilica asked, feeling unsure herself. She didn't know whether this would blow away her insecurities. However, she couldn't think of other solutions except to be drowned in his love and come to believe and trust him slowly.
"Is that really all it takes for you to trust me? Really? Even though I've always been showering you with my love before?" Kazuya asked back, not sure if just that was enough.
"I don't know…But I think that if by feeling loved, I would probably come to trust you and believe in you gradually." Lilica replied sincerely. Now that Kazuya had declared that he didn't feel anything for Lilienne, she was going to believe in his words and observe his actions to see whether she can trust his words or not. After all, they only knew each other for three months, which is just a tiny bit compared to his time together with Lilienne.

"Okay. Use all the time you want to test me, observe me, so that you can my love for you is truly genuine. I'll wait no matter how long it takes. Just remember that I will always love you and that you are forever my number one priority." Kazuya said as he kissed her forehead to assure her.
"Number one? …Even when our child is born?" Lilica asked softly, almost as if she was mumbling to herself.
"Of course, you will always be my number one. Even if we have many children, you will always remain in my number one spot." Kazuya replied as he used his strong hand to touch her face and kiss her deeply, assuring her of his love.
