"You really won't go anywhere? Promise?" Lilica asked insecurely, looking up at his gentle eyes hopefully.

"I promise. So, stop crying! We'll need to have a serious talk later okay? First, I need to get the doctor to check up on you first." Kazuya said gently as he patted her head lovingly and called for the doctor as he stayed by her side all the time.

Together with the doctor, the king and queen also came inside to check on Lilica's condition.

"Lilica! How are you feeling? Does it hurt anywhere?" The queen asked worriedly.

"I'm fine now, mother. I feel a little light headed but that's all." Lilica replied cheerfully.

"That's good… I'll order the servants to make some nutritious meals for you. Just sit back and relax. Don't think about things too much." The queen said as she gave orders to the servants.

After the doctor finished a final check up on her and everything was fine, Kazuya helped her to the dining room to eat something. The both of them hadn't had anything since last night's dinner. The emotional stress that they went through had made them extra hungry.

After they finished their food, it was finally time for them to talk it out. Kazuya held Lilica's hand all the way back to his bedroom. He led her to the bed, even though there were sofas in his room too. To Kazuya, the bed was probably the most comfortable place to talk things out.

There was a stagnant silence in the atmosphere. The both of them didn't dare say a word first, afraid that the other would feel hurt by their words again. Words are indeed the deadliest weapon to the heart after all.

"...Lilica, let's not be like this. Let's talk it all out. This way, the both of us wouldn't continue hurting each other." Kazuya took the initiative to start the conversation.

Now that Kazuya had declared that he didn't feel anything for Lilienne, she was going to believe in his words and observe his actions to see whether she can trust his words or not. After all, they only knew each other for three months, which is just a tiny bit compared to his time together with Lilienne.

"Okay. Use all the time you want to test me, observe me, so that you can my love for you is truly genuine. I'll wait no matter how long it takes. Just remember that I will always love you and that you are forever my number one priority." Kazuya said as he kissed her forehead to assure her.
