Lilica didn't feel like working when she came to her office. Her thoughts had been occupied by the phone call Kazuya got that night. She had spent the whole weekend to rack her brain for answers but to no avail.

Lilica walked to her desk and noticed that her superior had sent her an email.

Lilica entered the room and stood before her superior.

"Congratulations! You've been promoted to a secretary! Starting today you'll be working as our CEO's new secretary!" Her superior smiled.

"What?! Seriously?! What happened to the last secretary?" Lilica asked curiously.

"She was fired. I heard that she had stepped over the line and invaded the boss's privacy. You know what our boss is like, right?"

The CEO of Valen Corporation was well known for how he was coldhearted and did not like other people invading his personal space. Rumors have it that he had a royal aura that prevents people from carelessly approaching him. Those who have opposed him have never met a good end.

"So you should try your best to not get fired. Good Luck!" Lilica's superior said as she patted her shoulders.
