《Svails: Chains of Nebulas》Chapter 14: Igniter and its will

The outside is dark, the moonlight shining upon the city of Ryke, and as the innocent people of Ryke settle in for the night, a gun shot echo's throughout the cellblock as a devious event has just taken place. Angel holds out her right arm, a gun pointed directly at Exceilot who has just been shot, blood spiling out onto the floor, and a giant blood splatter against the wall. Angel sighs pulling her arm back and re holstering her gun, still smiling from the look on Exceilot's face as she shot her. As Angel proceeds back torward the cell door, she stops to knock on the door, however it isn't any normal knock, as she knocks on the door, she knocks in a pattern of one two and three, slight pauses between each one, a quick one two three knock follows without any pauses just after.
"The deed is done, Lily Hatanaka has been eliminated, she did have some information though, apparently the Siyo girl can do something with fire, we should keep our eye on her." Angel says in a light voice.
"The girl isn't our objective, Gindo specifically ordered us to report the death of Lily as soon as we killed her. As soon as Elkio reacts to the news, we are to team up with the hunters to eliminate him using the weapon he provided us with, do not stray from the masters orders Murasa." A female voice speaks from the otherside of the door, Angel's skin beginning to melt soon after, revealing a woman with short black hair, and bright yellow eyes, the girl wearing a red and black outfit fitting for an assassin.
"Alright I get it, anyways we need to make this look like the hunters did it right? so bring the guard in here and I will shoot him then lay next to Lily." Murasa says as she smiles, pulling out her gun once more. "It will be suicide"
Meanwhile back in the courtyard of the base, Siyo and Sagamie finish sharing their moment, and ask Migro to show them to Wendy and Angel's current rooms, worried for the two, and wanting to see how they are recovering.
"Oh right, yeah come on it's this way!" Migro states as he waves his hand torward the left entrance to the base.
As they walk down the hallway, Sagamie notices Siyo shaking while looking down at her own burnt arm, placing her left hand on the arm as if to stop herself from shaking. Noticing Siyo's behavior, Sagamie moves her hand in to grip Siyo's arm as well, looking at her and nodding her head with a confidant smile on her face, Siyo taking it as symbol that Sagamie is there for her. "It's name was igniter...So what Tohka said made total sense, I guess I'm just in disbelief." Siyo explains to Sagamie.
"Igniter?" Sagamie asks, now removing her hands from Siyo's arm.
"My gauntlet...That's what its name was. This entire time I had thought I'd lost it, but in reality my mom was just being overprotective, but I will prove to her by the next time I see her, that I am just as much of a fighter as she is, she'll see!" Siyo says with a smile, her body shaking less and less after every word.

"You know Siyo, I am not entirely sure what you did back there, but whatever it was, it beat that bastard Exceilot. I wouldn't be scared of your own power, if it were me, I'd be glad that I had it" Migro says to Siyo, tilting his head to the right from ahead of them.
In response to Migro's comment Siyo shakes her head back and forth. "No, it was Tohka who beat her, even with that power that I burnt myself with, it still wans't enough to beat her, I wasn't powerful enough, and she would of killed both me and Sagamie effortlessly. I need to learn to control this power better, so that I don't ever give the enemy a chance to kill a friend like that ever again." Siyo says, keeping her eyes closed, and her eyelids visibly shaking from the pressure of her pushing them closed in anger with herself. Suddenly Migro slaps Siyo's face, leaving a giant red mark on her cheek.
"Hopefully this will knock some sense into you, Exceilot was strong! And even if it wasn't enough, you made her weak enough to give Tohka the opening she needed, ''m sure of it! And you can't forget Tohka is a master hunter, she has twice as much combat training as you will ever have, I'm sick of the depressed Siyo, come on cheer up, so what if Marigold wasn't rescued yet, I promise you we will get her back, for now we should be happy we saved Sagamie's life." Migro says, clenching his chest with her right arm.
After knocking some sense back into Siyo, she goes back to smiling, thanking Migro with tears from her eyes, which she wipes seconds after. Finally arriving at Wendy and Angel's room, the group enter inside, the room is of a medium size, a singular window, white tile on the floors, and 2 beds, one on the right side of the room, and one on the left. Angel sitting awake on the left side, and Wendy still out cold in the right.
"Angel! I'm so sorry I wasn't strong enough, but I promise I will get stronger! That way you wont ever have to get hurt for me ever again!" Siyo says as she rushes upto Angel's bed, gripping her right fist, and setting her left hand onto the bed. Angel smiles at Siyo, but doesn't say a word, Migro then coming up behind Siyo and putting his hand on her shoulder. "She is unable to speak at present, the doctor didn't say when she might be able to." Migro says, looking down, upsert at the outcome.
While Siyo and Migro talk with Angle, Sagamie takes it upon herself to walk over to Wendy, who is currently passed out, setting her hand on Wendy's chest. "I'm glad you're going to be okay, watching you step in and try to fight for me...I know you are just as nice as Siyo and the others. You guys aren't like the other hunters, thank you" Sagamie says with a smile. While the others talk with Angel, she makes use of a writing pad to communicate, asking the others about Marigold Jackstagger.
"We didn't gain much info, only a name...A person named Jinx. We have no idea who this person is yet, or if it's possible to chase them, but we do know Marigold is alive!" Siyo says with an expresison of confidence, to which Angel smiles, holding her hand to her mouth trying to hold back laughter as to not hurt her voice.

As Siyo and migro continue to talk with Angel, Tohka comes walking through the door with a serious face, locking the door behind her. "Alright...I believe I promised an explination on Siyo's Will manifestation, and...There is one more thing as well." Tohka says, leaning up against the door with her arms crossed.
"Tohka!" Siyo shouts.
Tohka uncrosses her arms and pulls back her sleeve, holding her arm up to reveal a gauntlet on her arm, the back end of the gauntlet shaped like horns. "As you can see and as I am sure you are aware, this is a gauntlet. Mine can control earth and I have decided to call it Terraform, for those in this room who may not be aware, Siyo once owned a gauntlet, which her mother gave the name Igniter before giving it to her, it was mainly as a means of defense for her daughter when she wasn't around. Siyo no longer has that gauntlet as I am the one who took it away from her, as a request from her mother as well, she claimed it was for her saftey once again, I didn't really question it because I trusted Jade more than most people in my life, however Siyo was still able to use her flames earlier tonight, as I explained earlier this is what is called a Will Manifestation, it's a very rare thing to stumble upon by accident so you should be proud of yourself Siyo" Tohka explains to the group, mostly staring at Siyo, smiling at her for unlocking her ability.
"Did my mom say anything about why you had her take it away...She dissapeared shortly after I thought I had lost the gauntlet afterall" Siyo asks.
"No, she didn't say a thing, she didn't even seem suspicious, just said she had some stuff to take care of before leaving the base, and she hasn't been back in a long time. I sometimes even question if...No I shouldn't say that, not infront of you Siyo. I should mention something important though, you shouldn't be expecting me to return the gauntlet to you, I found it to be to dangerous to leave it here, I couldn't risk you discovering the gauntlet again, so I sent it to Smoke on a transport trip, he serves as commander of the city of Kilios, it sits within that bases vault. I do intend to keep my promise to your mother, I'm sorry Siyo, I also forbid you to practice controlling your flames through an unstable will manifestation, it is to dangerous and you could burn yourself again. As you guardian I cannot allow that." Tohka further explains to Siyo.
"But tohka!" Siyo shouts, walking upto her and grabbing her hand. "I need that power to get stronger! Without it me and Sagamie could of died, I don't like feeling helpless, unable to save anyone! Anything that can make me stronger to protect the people I want to keep safe! Please!" Siyo begs Tohka.
Suddenly Migro coughs into his hand before speaking. "Excuse me, but I don't think you even mentioned what this will manifestation even is?"
"Oh right, to put it as simply as possible, a will manifestation is an ability that anyone who has ever owned a gauntlet can obtain, the gauntlets power will flow into a persons vains from the very moment anyone ever puts it on. So if anyone were to ever lose their power, it is very possible for someone to draw out that power once again from the power in their blood, however it relys heavily on someones will, and if it is to unstable then the power can be harmfull to even the owner, had Siyo had her gauntlet, it is more than likely her flames would not have burned her. If you have a strong will to fight, it can be a powerfull weapon, but again I'm sorry Siyo, I cannot permit you to practice this ability, your mother forbade me from letting you use it at all costs, I took your gauntlet for a reason, even if she never told me what it was."
Siyo pulls on her hair out of anger and falls to her knees. "Damn it mom! How am I supposed to make you proud when you throw limitations at me!" Siyo vents. In the heat of the moment loud repeating knocks on the door are heard, followed by the yelling of Tohka's name. Upon opening the door Master Yusaku stands infront of Tohka, sweating as if he had just ran a mile. "We have...A SERIOUS problem! Exceilot has been killed in captivity! Looks like one of our guards was a traitor!" Yusaku informs Tohka, who has a shocked look upon her face.
"Alright, take me there, sorry Siyo, we have to continue this discussion later, but the answer is still no!" Tohka says as she runs out the door, closing it behind her. As the room falls silent from the shocking news, Sagamie holds herself back from almost slamming her fist against the wall. "DAMN IT! How could we let her die like this! She hurt Marigold damn it!" Sagamie shouts in anger.
"it's okay guys, I will burn the ring leader behind all of this!" Siyo says as she stands up with confidence.
"Burn? Didn't Tohka just say she wouldn't let you practice with your manifestation?" Migro asks. Siyo then puts both hands on Migro's shoulders, smiling at him. "Come on Migro don't be stupid! Isn't it obvious, my mother isn't some overprotective house wife, Tohka may not get it but I do! She had her take the gauntlet so I would be forced to learn this ability...Because it would make me stronger!" Siyo says with a wide grin on her face.
Meanwhile in a hallway not far from the nursing station, Yusaku is running torward the jail cell where Exceilot was held with Tohka, blinking his eyes once as his eye color changes to bright yellow and back to bright blue, a wide grin across his face.
