It shrouds the village in light. People hole up in their homes. The light demon prowls the streets. Lily possesses no home, she is a beggar in the street. She hides in an alley.

The demons footsteps move closer and her heart answers.

It peeps around the corner. Light floods into the alleyway. Lily dives for cover: dumpster.
Thump Thump Thump

The monster grows closer and closer and closer and closest. Light attacks the shadows chasing them aside. Lily covers her mouth and tunes in to the outside noises: harsh breathing.

The lid breaks open. Lily ducks but the light is upon her. The light strikes; it punches out the air of her. All is over.
