《My Story in the Otherworld》Chapter 3

It's been an hour since I started my journey and so far I have not seen anything yet.
"Holy shit, what the hell?! Usually, the transmigrator sees some sort of monster like as soon as they arrive at a different world. I'm still level 1!"
However, after a minute a grumbling, I finally saw a monster.
Goblin: Level 1
HP: 15/15
Attack: 10
Defense: 5
Speed: 8
Skills: Swing
Experience given when killed: 50x30= 1500 EXP
An unintelligent monster that only knows how to kidnap human women and swinging its club
"Oh, a goblin. Although, it's extremely weak, I think I could level up a couple of times from this alone. Hehehehe!"
I jumped out in front of the goblin. It seems that it was holding an iron club.
"Wargh!"
The goblin charged at me while screaming its lungs out.
However, its speed was extremely slow and I was easily able to go behind it.

"Aaaaghh"
The goblin split in half and I was covered in its blood.
"Urghhh, oh god that's disgusting,"

"Oh my goodness, I just leveled up 23 times. From a single level 1 goblin?! What the heck! This cheat is just too good! Wait, it said that I can have a job rank up. Navi, how-"
"Quest Given!" Suddenly a loud voice boomed in my head.

"Aghhh, that hurt like shit!" As I rubbed my head, there was a hologram once again in front of me.
Job Rank Up Quest: You are a bit more proficient!
You are just a bit away from the nearest town. Furthermore, your level is much higher than your actual job. Evolve from a complete noob to something actually decent.
Quest Completion Requirement: Kill The Demon of the Forest 0/1
(An arrow that only you can see will guide you towards your target so do not fret adventurer)
"The Demon of the Forest... What the hell! Why am I fighting something that sounds like it can devour me in 15 seconds?!"
While I was complaining, I noticed a red arrow pointing at a specific direction. With reluctance, I followed the arrow and after around 10 minutes, I arrived at my destination.
"What the fuck?!"
In front of me was a bear that looked like it's been pumped with ultra steroids. It looked to be about 10 feet tall and even though I'm no fighter, I could feel the dense killing intent around it.
"Oh god..."
After maxing out my skills from all those level ups, I decided to finally look at the Demon's stats.
The Demon of the Forest: Level 15
HP: 95/95
MP: 70/70
Attack: 80
Defense: 85
Speed: 30
Skills: Intimidation, Swipe, Charge
Experience given when killed: 100*30= 3000 (Reduced EXP is given due to adventurer being a much higher level than monster
A bear that has terrorized the forest for years. It feasts on many animals excessively due to its sheer size thus ruining the forest's ecosystem. It has claimed many hunter's lives and the reward for killing it can allow an average person to live a life of luxury.
"Wait. Wait one moment. I'm like 9 levels ahead of this guy. Hahahaha, this is like having a fed level 18 Fizz fight a 1v1 against a level 15 Jinx. Ahhh, this is going to be fun. I guess you never judge a book by its cover. I was about to shit my pants because of it,"
I confidently walked out of my hiding place and got ready. The Demon of the Forest saw me and angrily charged at me.

"Warghhh!!!"
"Hmph, you dumb animal, know the elegance of a human,"
Due to its slow speed due to its sheer size, I easily went to its side.

"Araghhhhh!"
The bear painfully screamed and glared at me. After a couple of seconds, it charged at me once again.
"Warghh!"
As soon as it got close to me, using both paws, he swiped it towards me.
"Good, good, you're a little smarter now, but..."
Counter!
Immediately using my attack power that was higher than it, I knocked away its two paws and slashed at its chest.
Puchi!

The Demon of the Forest stepped back and its eyes started to glow.
Warning! Target is in rage mode. Attack +70! Also, during the battle, it has awoken its bloodline, the Fire Bear Bloodline. Now able to use 'Fire Breath'. However, if it is defeated, you are able to gain its bloodline power and in your job advancement, you will receive a fire related skill.
"What the fuck?!"
After seeing its power-up, I was not sure of my victory anymore. One fire breath or even a mere swipe would be the end of my 135 HP.
"Alright you bitch ass bear, come at me!"
As if it could understand my provocation, the Demon charged at me, this time breathing fire while running towards me.
"Hmph, even though you powered up quite a bit, you're still slow and dumb. In the end, speed prevails all else!"
I dodged to the left. The Demon turns its head and breathes out more fire.
"Fuck, I can't get close!"
I jump back in order to evade the fire and started thinking up a plan to kill the bear.
"If I get close, he'll just breathe out fire. I don't have any range weapons either. What do I do?"
After a couple minutes of dodging and thinking...
"Alright, this is all I can do,"
I immediately run away. The Demon chases after me, but after a minute, it loses track of me.
"Alright, step number 1 is done. Time to move to step number 2,"
Using the red arrow, I tracked down the Demon and hid behind the tree it was resting at.
"Alright, it's resting just as according to plan. Since it's resting and is hurt, it can't sense me either. It's still at 25 health too so it hasn't even rested for that long yet,"
I started quietly climbing the tree and with my speed and power, I noiselessly got on a branch that was high enough.
"Alright, step 2 done, now onto step number 3,"
I jump out of the tree and enacted the final step to my plan.
Forward Slice Cut!
Puchi!

Without even making a single sound, the Demon of the Forest died due to getting hit on the head by my Katana.

You have completed the Job Rank up Quest, you have now become a Swordsman. Your next Job Rank-Up Quest will be at Level 30 so please work hard. Also, due to you defeating the Demon of the Forest that had a Fire Bear bloodline, one of your skills from the Swordsman Set will have a fire nature alongside wind nature.
I looked at my status and I could not any more happier.

For Tercius, a man mysteriously reborn nearly thirteen years ago, there was only one answer to both questions. Feeling compelled, he sets out to journey to the northern Sogea and its infamous Western Izmittor mountain range, a natural stronghold of sky tearing mountains and deep canyons. To make things even more difficult, he also had to ensure that the true extent of his own Innate Skills remained hidden, for if the prying eyes of the world fell on him and his many secrets came to light, then he would never again know a day of peace.
