The next morning, both Jocelyn and Jonathan were reveling in the night of passion as they were lying in bed, sleeping soundly. The morning sun peeked through the window between the blinds as it shined in Jonathan’s eyes.

The light will wake him up from his slumber as he let his eyes adjust. He wakes up to the site of a slumbering slender woman who used his chest like a warm pillow. This puts a smile on Jonathan’s face, knowing he had one incredible night with such a beautiful woman like Jocelyn.

However, he knew something like this wouldn’t last forever since both of them have to be up and about upon their day. Jonathan wanted her to at least sleep off some of the fatigue from last night, so he tried his best not to wake her up. But he couldn’t help petting her head and running his hands through her silky hair.

She woke up groggily as she took a deep breath, moaning deeply. Still lying on his chest, she remembered what she did last night with Jonathan, which made her giggle a little bit.

Jonathan caught wind of this as he couldn’t help himself, “How are you this morning?”

“Like I was knotted and bred like a bitch last night…” Jocelyn mumbled.

Jonathan chuckled at the statement, “So, I take it you’ve enjoyed yourself.”

“I did. I didn’t know what to expect, but you were my first wolf boy,” Jocelyn praised, wrapping her arms around his waist and pulling him closer.

“Happy to give you such an amazing experience,” Jonathan gloated while kissing Jonathan on the forehead.

This made Jocelyn set up and look at Jonathan face-to-face, “Don’t pat yourself on the back too hard, JoJo. You were amazing. It was amazing. Let’s leave it at that,” Jocelyn corrects.

“I hope not…” Jonathan dreaded, clutching around Jocelyn’s waist with his free arm.

Jocelyn cocked an eyebrow with a coy smile on her face, “You want this to continue, I see?” She bullied.

This made Jonathan more nervous. He was face-to-face with such a beautiful girl. He didn’t want to pour his entire heart and soul out, only to be disappointed. Nor he didn’t want to give too little and keep her away. He knew just how fragile Jocelyn’s emotional status is, so he tried his best to be honest yet blunt, “As long as you don’t think this is weird and would complicate anything, then yes.”

Jocelyn’s expression softened, feeling at ease with Jonathan’s confession, “JoJo, I can tell you are a wonderful man…”

“But…” He dreaded while baiting her on.

However, she lazily shrugged, “No buts, just thinking out loud…” Jocelyn concluded the issue and sealed it with a passionate kiss. She was happy with the relationship she was in with Jonathan now as she could deftly see a long-term relationship with him. They hit it off just fine a couple of months ago professionally, but never really got to know each other personally until the following days.

Breaking the passionate kiss, Jocelyn looked deep into his eyes and asked an open-ended question. Something that was deftly on her mind now they first met at the 20th precinct, “Whatever made you become a detective?”

Jonathan’s wolf ears flickered as he was a bit taken aback by the question. He thought about it for a while, and then he answered, “Whatever made you become a lawyer?”

The expression on Jocelyn’s face pretty much told the story of uncertainty and fear as she answered the best she could, “Good question and answer…” She rolled off of them and laid flat on her back, looking upon the ceiling, “I want to be in control… I don’t want to be weak anymore…”

Giving that statement, Jonathan sits up and faces Jocelyn, “I don’t think you’re weak… You know what you want in life, but people are just in your way. You make mistakes, Jocelyn because you feel you can’t trust anyone and try to do everything. I don’t blame you at all, because I can relate to that. You don’t fall in line like everyone else, and that’s what I love about you.” He said with passionate conviction.

It was a passionate speech, something that Jocelyn would read off her teleprompter. She closed her eyes and giggled, while shaking her head in disbelief, “You’re in love with me, aren’t you, JoJo?”

“I have always been in love with you,” Jonathan firmly confessed.

Jocelyn took a deep breath and open her eyes, seeing the passionate wolf boy looking down on her, “Well, that’s gonna be a major problem for you. Since I am in love with you as well,” Jocelyn reciprocated as she wrapped her arm around Jonathan’s neck, pulling him in for another passionate kiss.

“You are such a weirdo…” Jonathan said in between kisses.

“You’re the one who’s weird, chasing girls that are broken,” Jocelyn admitted.

Breaking up the kisses, Jonathan pulled back and stroked Jocelyn’s face gently, “I want you to go and see that doctor Cherie recommended, Jocelyn. I love you,” he pleaded.

“Just imagine what those three words mean to me…” Jocelyn said as a resumed kissing passionately.

Jocelyn had her fair share of problems in life and in her career. In a weird turn of events, something that was indeed negative turned into a positive. However, this wasn’t the first time Jocelyn had these kinds of flings with different men. This was another emotional trigger to deal with stress rather than her rage-filled outbursts.

Maybe she had a lot on her plate being an officer of the court and running for the Senate seat. But for Jocelyn, something had to change your life. Or in this case, something had to give.
