The prince came back to reality. It was like time had stopped and only his consciousness had moved. He looked at the woman who was about to kill him.
Just when the wooden stake was about to strike him down it fell into pieces with clean-cut lines. The woman looked confused. He then felt blood coming from his face. Her eyes then rolled back and the top half of her head fell down like it was cut with an extremely thin blade or with a metal wire. The rest of the people also fell into nicely cut pieces.
The prince got up and looked at the rest of the farmers who looked back at Markus with terrified eyes. They saw a thin stream of blood coming from the wound on the prince's arm. The blood circled around him like electrons circling the nucleus of an atom. The eyes of the prince had turned red and a foul divine aura surrounded him. The prince had the ability to control his own blood and to make it harden as hard as the prince wanted it to.
The prince then just gave a small gaze at the rest of the people. The blood that was floating around him turned into small blood drops floating in the air. The blood drops then attacked the farmers flying fast as bullets piercing all the farmers like they would have been shot with a shotgun.
He walked forward. He knew divinity also required a person's creativity to be fully used. He looked at all the blood around him that came from the farmer. He started to wonder if he could do something with their blood as well.
He started to unleash more of his divinity that made his muscles ache and his mind get tired.
The puddles started to bubble. They killed people's blood started to rise in the air. They started to take the form of humanoid beings. The blood formed into beings that had no faces. They were by far taller than the average man and had longer limbs with a thin torso. Some had weapons like swords and spears made from blood. Some had no weapons but had claws that were as sharp and large as kitchen knives.

Soon the exhaustion caught up to the prince. The prince then fell on his stomach and almost lost consciousness for a second. The blood humanoid beings fell back to blood puddles and disappeared.
"Shit, this is more exhausting than I thought," the prince thought to himself.
The use of divine power was like muscles. Using one's divine power was like exercising for the first time.
He then looked at the corpse of Emilia. He then weakly got up and walked slowly to the corpse. He started to again release his divine power. It started to ache and destroy the muscles of the prince but kept on pushing. He started to yell and bite his teeth together so he wouldn't pass out from the pain.
The blood of Emilia started to form. It took a form of a woman that had wings and a long hair. The face was of Emilia. It flew on the shoulder of Markus and then it as the others started to fall and lose its shape.
This time though it was different. Instead of falling to the ground as a puddle, the blood slithered its way inside Markus. Markus felt pain as it entered his body. His veins started to pop out and burst from the excess blood. He yelled until it was completely inside him. He breathed heavily but was happy. He smiled and got back up.
The prince looked and saw August laying dead on the floor with blood coming from his head. Markus just walked away not caring for his long-time companion August.
"Now...Where should I begin with."
