《EEPOS: from rags to godhood》Charge of the beasts part 1

The thousand-strong black yak cavalry started to charge against the army down the hill. The earth trembled with the humongous black yaks hooves hitting the ground. Before long the army realized they were being attacked.
The enemy army started to mobilize. They ran and started to form a line to embrace the charge of the black yaks. Erik looked at the army forming into formations.
"Shit. Amala! Please stop Namri! We will otherwise lose all our cavalry!" Erik yelled.
"I said I cannot stop Namri," Amala said.
Erik looked at the enemy army organizing into battle formations.
"Cavalry please follow me," Erik yelled to his men.
The human cavalry started to follow Erik off to the side. Amala looked where the human cavalry was going.
"Pema you go with Namri. I will go with Erik," Amala yelled and started to ride trying to catch up to Erik.
Erik was moving his cavalry to the forest. Amala tried to catch up but realized that her black yak was clearly not as fast as the humans' cavalry. She had no chance of catching up to them with her black yak and instead jumped on one of the cavalryman's horse.
"What the hell are you doing," the cavalryman yelled at Amala.
"Just ride!" Amala yelled back at him making him quiet.
Amala was jumping from one horse to another until she reached Erik.
"What the hell are you doing. You are fleeing now?!" Amala yelled in a mad tone at Erik.
"We have to flank them. They will be able to stop the charge of Namri since they were spotted so early. We have to now ride fast to get behind the enemy through the woods, so they don't spot us," Erik explained.
"How do you know what will happen?" Amala yelled with an angry tone.

"I know. You have to trust me."

The black yak cavalry charged at the enemy. The soldiers were being trampled down and flew across the battlefield. Many were pierced by the horns of the black yaks and the grey skin warriors cut down the soldiers with their spears and glaives.
The heavily armored cavalry just ran through the enemy. Namri wielded a large glade and cut enemies in half with just single swings.
"Hahahaha. Doesn't matter if those humans flee. All the glory will be ours right my riders!?" Namri yelled and his soldiers responded with a loud roar.
The enemy was running away trying to get away from the charging black yaks. The grey skins ran through the enemy like a large stone boulder against blades of grass. Some even tried to stop them, but stopping a charging black yak alone was like trying to stop a rolling tree log with a wheat straw.
Namri's eyes shined bright with enthusiasm during the battle. He was happy that he finally had the chance to prove himself. He had never gone raiding before or warred against other grey skins. He was part of the young generation eager to prove themselves along with many of his compatriots.
The shine in his eyes soon dimmed when he saw the human soldiers organizing into a strong line of spears. The soldiers formed a zigzag line specially designed for countering cavalry charges including even the vicious black yak charge.
Instead of humans scattered here and there, they formed a tightly formed line of men with spears all pointed at the charging cavalry.
The black yak cavalry charged the heavy line. It looked like a hammer hitting an anvil with full force.
At first, it looked like the black yak cavalry was able to push through, but slowly the momentum was dying out. The black yak cavalry was being stopped and when one black yak stopped in the front the one at the back had to also stop causing a domino effect.

Nobles with divine power started to unleash their divinity and were aiming at the riders of the grey skins. One even jumped on top of a black yak with a sword inflame and cut the grey skin down.
Namri looked around. The humans were then able to start circling them not allowing them to escape anywhere. The larger size of the enemy enabled them to circle them in a crescent moon shape and the only way to escape was back, but the black yaks were slow in turning around.
The humans started to kill the riders and the beasts alike. They started to pull the riders out of their steeds with ease who were at a disadvantage since they couldn't move much on top of their steeds.
"Leader Namri what do we do!" yelled one young grey skin.
"Namri we need orders!" yelled another young grey skin.
The grey skin cavalry started to panic. They were being slowly cut apart. The soldiers dragged the grey skins off their beasts and slew them on the ground or they simply killed the black yak with their riders.
