《EEPOS: from rags to godhood》The purge of the black rats part 1

Many of the gangsters were hanging in the bar. It was a quiet evening. The sun was just about to set. Doreen and Edward had finally sobered up and were having a bad hangover. They were too tired to bicker with each other as was usual for them.
One gang member rushed through the door. He was missing his hand. Blood dripped down from the shoulder where the hand was supposed to be. Everyone was in shock.
"What happened?" Rufus ran to the person.
"Ru…"
The man was cut down half in an instant right in front of Rufus. A knight of the black sun had slashed him in with his sword. Rufus was completely covered in blood. The knight didn't think twice about killing Rufus. Rufus then grabbed the knight's sword what shattered into pieces in the hands of Rufus. He then placed his palm on the knight who then exploded completely. Rufus was not sure what was going on and acted out of instinct.
More knights kept coming. Rufus looked around. Screams were being heard everywhere. Doreen and Edward came outside to see what happened. Two more knights were outside. They came to attack Rufus, but Doreen and Edward blocked their attacks.
The knights were strong. They were not stronger than Edward or Doreen with their weapons, but could fairly easily best a bergher or cut a horse in two with just one slash of their weapon. They swung their swords as veterans of many battles. Rufus was able to defeat the first knight easily only because he was able to surprise him.
"What the hell is going?" Haley came outside.
"I don't know," said Rufus.
Doreen, Edward, and Rufus were fighting the knights and were finally able to take care of them. It wasn't easy and the knights showed no hesitation or fear. Soon a gangster came running to the bar. He was also all beaten and bruised up.

"We are in trouble. The knights of the black sun have started to attack our members in the city everywhere," yelled the gangster.
"What the hell is going on here?" yelled Edward in frustration.
"Why would they start attacking us out of nowhere?" pondered Doreen.
The entire streets were suddenly surrounded by five knights. They were on the roofs around the street and looked down on all of them. All of them were troubled. They had no idea what was going on.
"RUN!" yelled old man Haufen.
"What?"
"You can't fight those. Even if you happen to win against these more will come. These knights are dangerous. RUN YOU FOUR!" old man Haufen yelled.
"We can't leave you guys!" yelled Rufus in protest.
Soon the knights started to attack. The other gangsters started to fight them. They were in no way able to fight them evenly, but they gave them all they got.
"Boss. You have to get out of here," yelled one of the gangsters.
Rufus didn't want to run, but he also didn't know what to do.
"Boss! Run away. You are not allowed to die here," yelled another gangster
"I can not leave you guys," Rufus protested.
"LEAVE!" they all yelled.
All the gangsters knew that Rufus was a kind person and a pushover. They wanted to use that to their advantage. They all knew who Rufus was. He would not leave them behind unless he was forced to. All the gangsters adored Rufus. He had helped them to be better people. Helped their families in the slums. They were ready to sacrifice themselves to Rufus.
Rufus looked at their eyes who were full of determination.
"We need to go now or their sacrifice will be in vain," yelled Doreen.

Rufus with a heavy heart decided to flee the scene. The knights started to massacre the gangsters, but the gangsters were not relenting. They fought without a chance to survive, but none had regrets. All of them just hoped Rufus would be able to survive.
As Rufus, Haley, Doreen, and Edward were running through the streets of the city they saw the bodies of many other of their members laying on the streets. The streets of the city had turned into a slaughterhouse.
"Where will we go?" asked Haley.
"We have to hide somewhere!" said Doreen.
The girl who was marching with the knights showed up with a couple of the knights in front of them blocking their escape. Edward looked stunned when he saw this girl. The girl was holding her oversized sword.
"I would not have guessed you would be alive, let alone be working with gangsters," said the girl pointing her sword at Edward.
All of them looked at Edward. Edward was obviously afraid.
"Joan….What are you doing here," said Edward with a shaking voice.
"Who is she?" asked Rufus.
"She is my sister."
