《The Adventure of Holy Beast Bai Xiaoli》C28. Tragedy Caused by Hunger

The teacher gets totally confused. What does it mean “delicious”? The runes are for eating? Does he not yet wake up from dreams?
As a student who gets 9 points in History of human development, his brain circuit is really beyond the comprehension of the common people!
When it’s class time of actual combat, the class teacher finds in a glance the special recruited student who already becomes a little famous in Tianjing College.
There’s a serious imbalance between boys and girls in the Department of Actual Combat, a lot of boys with a few girls. Many male students are very excited to have Bai Xiaoli, such a beauty, as their classmate. Quite a few boys and girls who are attracted by Bai Xiaoli want to show themselves in front of Bai Xiaoli.
Even the muscular teacher of actual combat, Zhan Feng, also pays particular attention to Bai Xiaoli. Not only because of his beauty, but mainly because of his score of actual combat.
Zhan Feng is not an aged teacher, he’s only a few years older than these students. He’s a steel-willed man of iron and blood with stubble covering on his jaw. This really makes him masculine-looking, but also delivers some sense of vicissitude.
“Now, let’s invite Bai Xiaoli to come up and practice with me. He has got full mark in actual combat. Watch carefully, everybody. There are skills in the combat. Don’t use your shortcoming to confront the advantage of your opponent. Find his shortcoming and fight him with your advantage. As long as you have mastered the skill, even his star power is higher than yours, you can indeed win.”
After the pep talk of Zhan Feng, the named Bai Xiaoli has no action at all. All the people look at him and find Bai Xiaoli lying prone on his fours like one wizened dead fish.

The classmates: “…”
Long Lan puts his face in hands and feels so embarrassed. He doesn’t want to have such a silly friend.
Two figures passing outside the window suddenly stop and look simultaneously into the classroom.
Zhan Feng stands solemnly in the center of the stage, “Stand up, no need to kowtow. Come up to practice.”
Bai Xiaoli rolls over feebly and lies on his back, “I can’t.”
Zhan Feng comes over, kicking on the legs of Bai Xiaoli, and shouts loudly: “Stand up right now, practice with me. Show them your strength.”
Lying there like one dead fish, Bai Xiaoli firmly refuses to move, “I can’t get up, I’m starving to death.”
All people are stunned. So hungry? With that state, he seems to be more tragic than without eating food for one week.
Zhan Feng laughs, “No breakfast in the morning?”
Bai Xiaoli: “I had a breakfast.”
Zhan Feng is stunned, “Then why are you so hungry?”
Bai Xiaoli; “But no meat to eat.”
Zhan Feng: “…”
Have you seen anyone who eats a plenty of fish and meat in the early morning? Even if there’re abundant rich food in front of you, don’t you feel greasy?
One of the two figures standing outside the window already convulses with laughter.
They are exactly Cang Yan and Joyce. They have no class in the next and plans to go back to the dorm. Cang Yan takes deliberately a detour to pass here just to have a look at Bai Xiaoli. Who would thought that they would see this scene.
Joyce holds on the shoulder of Cang Yan and nearly laughs to convulsion, “This Bai Xiaoli…ha-ha-ha, so ridiculous. He’s really a class clown ha-ha-ha… ”
Zhan Feng coughs awkwardly and says: “Come on, let’s practice, I invite you to eat meat for lunch.”

Lying flat on the ground like a pie, Bai Xiaoli swishes up, his eyes sparkling, “Really?”
Zhan Feng gives a ruffian smile with the corner of his mouth curved upward, “As long as you can win, I’ll invite you to eat meat for one month.”
Long Lan: “…”
Looking at the teacher with sympathy, Long Lan wishes that Bai Xiaoli would lose. Otherwise, with his appetite, if let him eat as much as he wants for one month, it will cost more than one million federal currencies!
Bai Xiaoli quickly gets up from the ground and resurrects in full blood, “You said that, don’t go back on it.”
Zhan Feng claps on his rock-hard bust and says like a hero: “A promise is a promise. Come on!”
His forefeet thrusting against the ground, Bai Xiaoli is shot out like an arrow toward Zhan Feng and chops Zhan Feng with one leg.
All the class didn’t see that how Bai Xiaoli had disappeared from his place. Even Zhan Feng has surprise on his face, and his mind is instantly shrouded in an intense sense of crisis. It’s the same feeling as when he had been facing a mutant beast of level 6.
It’s almost the conditioned reflex that Zhan Feng mobilizes his star power. Three layers of orange nebulas surrounds Zhan Feng on his top, center and bottom. His star power nearly soars up directly to 241 marso.
With a huge “Boom”, the ground where he’s standing on starts to crack under his feet. The orange nebulas all over his body drop away in all directions like the ocean wave. Lord Bai Is Seriously Injured and Vomits Blood

46 Year Old Syndrome
The daily Litrpg journal of a fairly average 46 year old man in a world where hundreds of thousands of people suddenly have a super power.Follow him as he learns skills, runs away a lot, suffers crippling headaches, avoids reading his titles, and tries to avoid breaking his body that didn't get enough calcium and vegetables.[Disclaimer 1: Despite the following, I will fix any typos pointed out. This is a writing exercise so chapters are mostly first drafts, otherwise I'd end up rewriting each chapter for a month or more with no real changes. My goals are a steady output by not using perfectionism as a procrastination method. I've already got laziness and additions to reading/games, I don't need a 3rd reason to procrastinate.][Disclaimer 2: The main character is a more normalized version of me, with 170% less laziness installed, and a few buffs like greater courage. Other things like having a job are partially similar. No other characters are based on real people because most people I know are either too normal to be useful or too fucked in the head to be believable.]

Take Two!
College student majoring in botany has a fateful encounter with truck-kun while trying to get back in shape after realizing that his freshman 15 turned into the sophomore 20, and then the junior 30. After going through a very amusing(to some) hell, he gets the chance to transmigrate into a body of his own design on a magical world. Playing to his strengths, he chose the Plantkin race, and the new name of Sorrel to match. This is a slow-paced, magical, slice-of-life story with a focus on relationships. There will be sex(I'll try to keep the explicit stuff to a minimum, but it will be there), swearing, really bad jokes, and enough food to spoil your diet. There will not be a lot of action, epic quests to save the world, or anything even remotely resembling a big-bad-evil-guy(a few smaller bad guys, sure. But, no BBEG). Note: This is a re-write of my first story "Congratulations, You're Dead!". And, is much more what I wish I had written in the first place. The characters and the world are very similar, with a few key differences. The story may borrow some elements from Congrats, but should be considered as its own work. Reading Congrats first is not needed, or even reccommended, not unless you want to see some really cringey romance in the early chapters.

Keter
They called him "Keter"; The Top-Most; The Crown. An unsurpassable, unstoppable, unkillable soldier. Etched with a twisted set of morals and studded by an impossible drive for lachesism, Keter terrorized the world for ages. But time, you see, is a most patient thing. As sure as it gives, so does it take. Even the Crown saw the eternal spindle drawing on him. He blinked, for the last time, and saw a world anew. Synopsis. So, basically, I’ve gotten tired of all these stale mcs that keep popping up left right and center. Either they are painstakingly good-natured or horribly written ‘evil’ characters. So, here’s my take on the concept of a Villain. Someone ruthless, cunning, and not shy of seeking darker means to an end. Hell, as long as it’s effective, he’ll prefer the blacker side of business. The new world will be, like many others, one in a medieval-type setting with traces of magic and the like; though I hope to make better use of this than most others who simply steal ideas from classical novels or other sources.

Grinning Enigma
Freddy is a very bad boy. Meets some people that know what he did. He tries to escape punishment, makes it [Redacted]. Freddy might be a mass-murdering troll, but he isn’t a bad person, right? Right? Disclaimer: This is not an instruction manual. If you want to be a horrible human being, go figure it out yourself. Autopsy: Writing this story gave me some degree of insight into how much I've managed to fuck up my own personality by suppressing basic needs. Now I hate myself even more. It started as a story where the MC was supposed to be a blend of the NZ-land shooter and other cancerous personalities. That way I wouldn't feel bad about torturing him. Instead I ended up witnessing all the worst aspects of my own personality, or lack thereof. I'm a horrid person, I can't even bring myself to do what's the only right thing at this point.

ASTRAL: Awakening of the Saffron Sky-Tamer
In a universe governed by powerful magic, people are divided into two overarching groups: the 'illuminated' wielders capable of harnessing arcane energies, and those without abilities known as the 'lightless'. With hopes of altering her station in life through the use of magical artifacts, a young lightless named Auriel broke into a derelict temple, inadvertently unleashing a plethora of dark creatures sealed within that subsequently wreaked havoc on the realm. As punishment for her actions, she received a magical brand and was banished to a distant village. When her new home comes under attack by vicious monsters, Auriel is approached by a mysterious organization willing to undo her brand and provide her with what she seeks, but for a peculiar price. ~Notes~ -First novel/story posted by me, so will be experimenting with it quite a bit. Writing this as a light novel, but will consider going further. -Primarily hard fantasy, with occasional sci-fi elements mixed in. -Planned weekly releases (though I still work full time so hey, the schedule might be a bit irregular). -A shift in scenes is signaled by the symbol ~X~ Please leave any constructive feedback, I'd love to make this story the best version of itself!
