In a Duke's household, there 2 maid that gossiping while tidy up the house.

"Did you hear? Our young master of Zhield's house will at last marry Duke Saber's daughter!"

"Damn you Gardener! how dare you scare me like that!"

The maids that in gossip startled, and having a cold sweat. Thinking that the heavy voice belong to their Old Duke's, alas their luck is good that it is just Frank the Gardener of Duke Zhield's house. If not they will get a strict scold from the old Duke, especially that 'creep out' part from the other maid's.

It is a common knowledge, that Zhield household is a Noble's household with a Duke Title. Whereas the location of the noble's kingdom is in Riezet Kingdom, where there are only 6 Duke stated there, and Zhield household were positioned as the last Duke household, and not exactly the weakest but the youngest one. Whereas the Saber Household were the middle older.

Zhield's household were originally a Marquis household, that get an increase just sometime after the war, and it is because their Young Duke's achievement in that war. However, no matter what, when one's child get a rank up, of course their parent too will. It is the rule stated in the Royal decree, so as the young one remember of filial piety, writed by the first king of Riezet Empire.

By that word, the other 2 hold their tongue and bow to the Young duke.

The 2 doesn't know that Frank and Reynold were once a playmate, while Reynold too not as strict and scary as his father. He is a newly appointed Duke, at the same time a hero in the defence war against invader from the sea.

Riezet Kingdom, is a rich Kingdom with the commodity of fish to vegetable. That means, While there are many of field in the Kingdom, there are many sea product. Riezet Kingdom's land space is as is; the south and north of it were surrounded by a high mountain and it is a natural defensive wall, and the west were an open field, that make them able to field a crop of many kinds of veggie and fruit, while the east is the Sea, where the marine product were exported.

It is not small, because the size of the Kingdom is as big as an Empire, if it being compared. Riezet Kingdom's size is half of Argentina, and definitely qualified to be called as an Empire.

Because of it natural defensive capabilities, it's not easy to invade them. However, it's not exactly hard too. After all, the people live in Riezet Kingdom were not many only 3 million at most. While the other neighbour country were having 3-6 million People live in it.

Not long after, The marriage ceremony between Reynold Vi Zhield, and Grell Saber being held. Many of the people live in and out of the Kingdom pray for they happiness, and bless them.

After 3 years of their marriage life... at last, Grell got herself pregnant. Damn you sh**head! Of course it's Reynold's Son! There's no NTR tag here!

Anyhow, when the households hear it. Whether it was Saber's nor Zhield's, all of them in joy, and pray for the gods to have a good and healthy child...

"So, Have you thought a name for our child my dear husband?"

"Hmmph! of course I did! Lynn Ri Zhield! Ri as the meaning of the eldest and Lynn as the name of the boy! That will be the name of our son!"

"Pufufu, what do you mean by son? the baby have yet to come out~"

It's her 4th month of pregnancy, and the couple have those nice and warm talk. After saying her word, Reynold put his hand to Grell's bulging belly.

"Look, the child is so hype there! there's no way it'll be a girl, even if it is, that one will be a tomboy~"

"No way, she'll be just like her mother. A gentle woman..."

"Yeah... Just like her mother eh~"

By saying that, Reynold put a sneer in his face. To understand what the sneer means, once in her childhood, Grell were notoriously known as the most tomboyish girl known in the noble society. Hence, not only does her not a gentle woman in her childhood, her notoriety is known as a bully. Even his majesty the King, that once her playmate get bullied by her. It is only after her coming of age, that she conduct more like a noble woman.

Sensing Reynold's sarcasm, Grell give him a straight punch with Reynold being unprepared Reynold leave Uagh sound because of the straight punch.

The nice and gentle atmosphere were polluting even the worker, and the happiness plus peacefulness that brought there were intoxicating...

In her 7th month of pregnancy. she caught herself a disease, that disease is very harmful to her body... Not only her, many victims already pop here and there. With more than 50 people Die in a mere month of the Disease being found...

As if protecting her... The baby in her belly died... However, her life that being in diseased safed... the sorrow of her Baby left, make her very sad. Tears fell of her beautiful face, sorrow surround not only her... Reynold's Zhield and her Saber's household too fell deeply in sorrow.

As if that is not sad enough. Grell's body, which already recovered from the disease and the sorrow of her first miscarriage. Receive a diagnose from the doctor, that she can't get pregnant anymore. If she, by any chance get pregnant, She can not gave birth to the child... or both of her and the child will die...

It is really heavy for Grell, sadness and sorrow will is layered too many that her fragile heart... get crushed, in to a mere dust.

Cry and Cry and Cry... after more and more tears left her eyes... her red puffy eyes, now filled with void.

In that sadness and sorrow, Reynold try many to cheer her up. Even Duke Saber's couple tried their best for their only daughter... Alas, they too know that, for a noble woman, a wife of a household. Not being able to conceive is meant as her failure as a wife.

Reynold has tried as much as he could for her, hence Grell stop her depressed state. She act so strong, that it made Reynol feel sad... she brave herself, and say to Reynold.

“It’s alright for you to search more wife... as I am now... could not bring you a healthy boy anymore...”

That word is sharper than the sharpest sword, and the pain that he feel hurting more than being pierced by an arrow.

“Grell... for me... there will be just you and you alone... I will never search for another wife... “

That word, is like an oasis in her desolate heart. Tears, again fell on her beautiful face, as she embrace her husband and cuddle in his arm, feeling warm and safe... as well as happy...

“But... No matter what, you need a descendant to pass your legacy...”

“No Grell... there is no Legacy for me.. there will be you... my dear wife...”

Happiness felt in her heart, and he now believe that marrying the man in her embrace is the most correct choice in her life. This is what a husband is... and this is... a married life is...

In some day, they relaxing themself. Wearing a civilian clothes, and walk around the town to feel the hulabaloo in the town. Running here and there, talking in the vendor, walking while eating, talking while walking, side by side...

Feeling mischievous, her inner tomboy get ahold of her. She snuck in an alley, and explore it together with his husband, his man...

In the darkness of the shadow, there lies a barrel of Trash, she took a peek in the trash full Barrel. What she see in there is a shocking sight, that left her cry... Seeing his woman’s cry, Reynold took her and pat her, and see what inside the barrel...

In the barrel full of burnable trash, lies a child. A baby, that seems just born. He look out of the barrel with an empty eyes, that look pityful. As if accepting his life, that would be ended as soon as he born. It is a boy, his eyes left a dim light.

Realizing the Baby’s condition, without thinking about anything Grell took him. And running around to search for the nearest doctor possible to have a check on the baby. Reynold is of course, helping her.

Fortunately, they found the doctor. And, the baby is saved...

“Abandoned Child huh...”

“Is it a common occurence here?...”

The doctor’s sigh make Grell question him.

“Well, not really. But, mostly in recent year there’s already 6-7 baby that die... before being found, I could say that this child’s luck is good... to be able to life for 15 hour after his born, his tolerance really good...”

“Is there any problem with this child?”

“As of now, I didn’t see anything sir. I could even say that this child’s body is pretty strong, he have a high tolerance against disease is definite... After all, being in a trash barrel for 15 hour or less after being born, and not get sick is amazing...”

“However, this will not change anything... I even think that he’s being die will be a blessing too... by itself...”

“Wha?! How oculd you say that as a doctor!”

“I’m sorry ma’am, but... for a child, being abandoned is not a good thing. And with this kingdom’s situation... Even if there is an orphanage that will kept him, I don’t think he will feel good... after all, a child. No matter what, will feel dejected for being trown by even his parent...”

Hearing that, the couple silent... the doctor could only sigh...

The Doctor look at Reynold who utter that word in the eyes.

“Are you really postive about this?”

“There won’t be a problem right? Grell...”

“Of course”

“Well, here you go then...”

Leaving the Doctor’s little clinic, the couple brought the kid. They see each other in the eyes, and talk about many thing. Thus at the end, they agree about the thing they talking about... Then, Reynold see the awakened baby, the baby didn’t cry. Those pair of clear bluish green eye looking at the couple.

“From now on, you are my son! Lynn Vi Zhield!”
