When i saw the bracket, i was happy. I would be in final against Xulphyr if i win all my match.

Because of the 8 years i have learn from Xulphyr, i had comprehension of nature really close to Xulphyr, in addition to my 9.9 mana unit in term of power alone, i was stronger than him that had only 8.2

The bracket put me against Duales, a 16 year old boy that had 14 win and 6 Loose. It was a pointless match, i want to see the match of Xulphyr! It's much more interesting! But because the match were played in the same time if i don’t end this fast i might not be able to see Xulphyr battle

“ John and Duales come and enter the circle, the fight will begin at my go" said the instructors

“You should surrender, you have no chance to win. Don’t waste my time i want to see Xulphyr match ok ?” John

“Don’t underestimate me, i might have lose 6 times but it was close, ok ?”Duales

John sighed “don’t blame me to overdo it then “

“Your match may begin , GO !” Said the instructors

The moment John heard the GO he created an ice spear with 9.0 of his mana unit and keep 0.9 mana to stay conscious

The ice pear had 15 meters of diameter that rushed directly into his opponent

It wasn’t efficient but he was sure it was strong enough to defeat an opponent if it simply outpower him

Diales shouted “AHHHH” While defending with all his mana, but it didn’t even impact the spear the 10 instructor begun to create big shield made of iron to protect Diales life, a shield done with the mana of 10 instructor combined,the ice spear stopped, but the shield was broken

“I win, right? can i go now?” john said impatiently

The intructeurs did not believe what they had just seen, as if it was a fantasy, although he knew that the child was the one with the most mana in the country. Creating such a spear should never have been possible for a human, Duales was frightened trusting he was going to die.

Plus John's behavior of just wanting to get out of the game as fast as possible was completely unrealistic.

“The winner is John, yes, you can go”

John started to run to Xulphyr match, when he finally could see the match of xulphyr all the spectators were laughing

"I said i won't let any of your attack reach me, but could you make an effort? And use something stronger and elaborate? I'm still waiting!" Xulphyr

"I refuse to give up, I promised to never to give up, but if I keep attacking you I'll just exhaust all my mana, so please, could you end this with a good spell" Says his opponent

"I, too, refuse to finish it, I set myself the goal of making my opponents surrender without attacking them, you know, it's going to be a problem if this match never ends?" Xulphyr said friendly

The crowd laughed even louder

Xulphyr will always surprise me, he always does things differently from the others, seeing him I began to believe more and more that he came from another world.

"Well, if you don't attack, I'll force you to attack me" instead of using magic, his opponent run to Xulphyr, and try to punch him

Xulphyr dodged him by using the wind magic , because he had never practiced close combat, he would never have dodged fast enough without using magic.

"It's embarrassing.... Well you win,i'll finish it with a fireball, my plan has led to failure."

Xulphyr threw a fireball at his opponent, an instructor protected him.

"It was a magnificent victory for Xulphyr" said an instructor.

"Superb victory, indeed" said another instructor

And that is how John and Xulphyr, won their first matches.
