Chapter 98: New techniques
The whole day took to install neuron translators to the 74 Anhs. When Safo counted them in the cave there were only adults, while children escaped the cave by narrow tunnels as soon as the battle started.
After their speech was understandable, the Anhs explained that Safo and his friends were good to them. Gods descended from the dark world to rescue them from the two monsters of the surface.
The strongest of them - Torql was their new chief. Talking to him Safo learned that Anh never wrote down their history. They lived the day that the "yellow circle" - the star, gave them. Rocks and dirt were in their diet, the minerals were as dessert to them.
When Safo touched their skin he saw the benefits that evolution gave to them. Eating only minerals such as carbons, mercury, zinc, tin, calcium, phosphorus, sodium, and many many others, Anh made themselves sturdy as rocks from the outside. But lack of other useful vitamins made their inner organs weak.
Their inception of the world was also different from species that were raised on a surface. Anh had a very limited specter of emotions, in particular, they were unable to feel pleasure or any other positive emotion. That is why when Safo used his resources that calmed down even the White-Black they wanted to feel it too.
By practicing his resource on Anh people Safo learned that it was the Hope. The skill showed to the affected one their hopes and that worked like a sedative effect.
The Anhs adored Safo Nur. They brought Waterstone as a tribute to his divinity. The whole race dedicated themselves to give their god all the Waterstones that they could find on the planet. In exchange, Safo promised to bring more food from other worlds.
Also, Safo left 20 men to help Anh in their hard work. Captain Capua ordered her men to work without causing any trouble. Those who had plans to steal the precious stones and flee dropped the idea.
Finally, it was time for Safo to ask his team members who wanted to stay on the planet to control and report to the New Tenga.
"I want to stay." Yon volunteered right away. He was scared of his father for losing the tournament. On top of that Yon decided to give up on the title of the King which certainly would upset his ambitious father.

"If you come back soon I can stay to help organize the place." Achraf was the second one who volunteered. He found himself again, in technologies and ship repairing and refining. He wasn't scared to let Luna go for a couple of weeks.
"If you don't need me I can stay. I want to train with my new resource as much as possible. And here I will have a lot of space for that." O'rmon wasn't her old self. She was more confident and could talk to Safo looking straight into his eyes.
"Wow, I thought we would have to force people to stay. Thank you guys. I appreciate all of you. I promise to send more people." Safo knew that with righteous Yon, responsible O'rmon, and resourceful Achraf the unnamed planet would be in good hands.
They left as much provision as they could, both planes from the Green Twinkle including some weapons.
With Capua's men being only underground no one feared weapons being left. Yon, O'rmon, and Achraf lived in Tired Can.
Safo planned to call his friends from The Cube. Korpt and Vlouda. With Vlouda's experience in asteroid mining, she could teach a thing or two to the Anh race.
Vlouda and Korpt were happy to hear from Safo, they were worried about him after seeing hundreds of contracts to kill him. They feared that some of them could try to harm him in the real world too.
Vlouda was excited about the prospect of mining Waterstones. They immediately started packing their belongings and headed towards the planet.
She said that she will give a discount for her service to a good friend. Safo made a mental note to himself to ask Advisors about bio android legs for Korpt.
With everything organized Safo Nur and the rest of his team which was only Kutch and half of Dost moved towards the New Tenga star system.
Capua Ayala was in a glass cage in front of Green Apes that she wanted to steal so much.
Safo watched the two techniques that Miloud sent to him and was pleasantly surprised.
The first technique was footwork called The Ghost. Its point was to make a user unpredictable. In the video, a man moved in various directions and every time Safo tried to guess which direction will choose the master, each time Safo failed to predict it.

When the master was seemingly moving forward he was moving sideways. By the first impression, it looked like the master had some supernatural abilities.
The second video was almost the same thing but for attacks. The frontal attack could be transformed into an attack to the sides and on the other way around.
Safo felt like being hypnotized, he imagined sparring with an opponent who practiced the Complete Ghost techniques and he couldn't see winning. Not once Safo predicted the moves of the master who combined both Ghost techniques.
Safo Nur ran to the training hall straight away and spent the next three days and almost a whole night in practice.
On the fourth day, Safo invited Kutch to have a match with him.
"If you use your full power I would've appreciated it. I want to feel my limits," Safo was serious.
Kutch nodded and dashed to Safo after the bell rang.
In no time Kutch was next to Safo with his fist in several centimeters from Safo’s face. Suddenly, Kutch's fist moved through the opponent, not hitting anything in the process.
Kutch simultaneously looked down to search for Safo and felt a hit to his guts. Safo wasn't very strong physically but Kutch definitely felt the potential.
Kutch sent his might to the legs and pushed himself off the ground to jump backward. Safo didn't follow, instead, he moved to the side and then forward.
When Kutch regained his combat stance he threw the chain of jabs and hooks, all for naught. After consuming the brain-enhancing banana on the Green planet Safo Nur's reaction time had been shortened tenfold.
In m=one moment when Kutch was rapidly hitting the air, he felt a punch from the side and saw Safo's next hit coming towards him. Kutch was confused by the teleportation of his opponent and received the second punch too.
Without a wish to give time to retreat, Safo used all of his knowledge about the Complete Ghost technique and landed tens of successful attacks from all directions.
Finally, Kutch had it all and roared to show his annoyance. Swinging his arms in all directions he gained some distance and broke from a constant assault.
'Where is he?' When Kutch finished his chaotic tornado he lost his opponent from sight.
A hit to his side that shook his inner organs woke him up nicely. Safo was behind him.
Kutch took one more punch before facing Safo Nur again. His impulsive turn around made him open his corpus which swiftly filled his series of attacks. Some of them hit the solar plexus and exploded the air in his lungs.
Kutch crouched forward and received a head attack to his nose which made his vision blur. Before he pushed away Safo, Kutch received several heavy punches to his eyes.
Kutch was already panting. Safo's non-stop assaults made him dizzy and his body ached as if he fought an opponent that was twice stronger than him.
'When did he become so strong?'
Kutch shook his head, he couldn't let himself lose. A proper combat stance and charge. Kutch recalled his combat lesson with the Royal Advisor.
The fastest and mightiest attack that Kutch could give in his situation, and he hit nothing. A leg, to his side, maybe a broken rib. Another kick, from another side, less power though, maybe not enough momentum. It was some of the analyses of Kutch who had not enough time to react.
Kutch raised his hand. "I give up, man. You...won. You won."
Kutch couldn't believe it. A week ago the match between him and Safo would never unfold with such a result. But only after training for three days, Kutch was unable to compete with him.
"What was in that video, Safo?" Kutch wanted to learn it too.
The next three days and sleepless nights they trained the Complete Ghost techniques together. Practicing with each other, their strides were wide and fast. Merciless sparring made both better close combat fighters.
Seven out of eight, it was the victory rate of Safo against Kutch. His progress was gigantic in comparison to himself a week ago.
"I must thank Miliud for this amazing technique, and ask for more, of course." Safo was writing a text message when Capua called him from her glass cage.
"Hey handsome, I heard you guys moaning and panting. Is that why you don't like me? Anyway, if you are interested in melee, what do you say if we have a match? If I win, you owe me a kiss."

With the pursuers hot on his heels, can Victorian find shelter in the realm of the living dead? Or will he become just another walking corpse, doomed to wonder the land for all eternity? And what would he be required to do in return? The Kingdom of Leidemar is on the verge of ruin. Rival powers seek to divide it, but there is an opportunity for a new ruler to arise from within its own nobility. And even a lowly nobleman, if positioned correctly, could end up a king. Someone with the right allies, perhaps? Or maybe cruel allies would suffice? But for now the last surviving son of House Rotwald is on the run. *This story is as much about the monsters as it is about the people facing them. Some become allies while others become wet stains on the floor. I firmly believe that villains can make for some of the most endearing characters. Monsters need not be sour and droll. Have a bit of fun - indulge in a bit of villainy. Enjoy the gray morality and colorful cast of this story! *I have a Discord server now: https://discord.gg/4phDRU2 **Artwork by Shane Pierre: https://007access.deviantart.com/ ***I am not a native English speaker, so feel free to help me improve my use of the language!

Do not come into reading this story expecting a redemption arc or a sudden turn to goodness.
