Chapter 66: Advisors
Kutch was out of breath due to his excitement. All the words came at him at once and he couldn’t speak them at all. He had a flood of ideas and tactics, he had visions of different situations and outcomes to them. Finally, after ten minutes of waiting, Yon and Safo heard the first words from Kutch.
“Green Apes!”
Yon’s face changed to distrust. “No one can catch them.” Then he paused. “...Unless you have some new ideas.” Yon looked at Kutch asking him to reveal the plan.
For the next hour, they sat under the shadow of the Green Twinkle talking about the tactics of catching the green apes.
According to two excited young psiora, Yon and Kutch, the Green Ape was almost a legendary animal. Only a few of those species were caught by hunters. They were fast, cunning, and lived in very inconvenient places to hunt, inside the canyons.
The planet Green was a wild planet with various species fighting to be sapient on that planet. As soon as one species reaches intellectual level 5, the planet will be out of the hunting list. The Empire didn’t allow anyone to hunt sapient creatures.
The green apes were closest to level 5. Due to their habitat other creatures couldn't disturb their evolution, giving them a huge boon. Currently, they were one of the animals which stood on top of the food chain.
Countless hunters tried countless tactics to catch them with zero results. But Kutch had a feeling that they could pull up the lucky card and invade the home of the apes. Unreachable canyons.
“I heard the plan, it is believable but I do not think that it will work.” Yon was still skeptical about the plan. “Because you miscalculated one thing, I’m not invisible. That is not what my resource does.”
“Then what is your resource?” Both Kutch and Safo asked in unison. Safo had been wondering about it since the tournament match. While Kutch was thinking about including every member into the plan. Excluding O'rmon, Safo asked to free her from the plan due to the special mission that he prepared for her.
Yon started describing his abilities with a bit of reluctance. He was in the team but two days ago they were complete strangers to each other, after all.
“I can create a tiny sub-dimension and hide there. From the outside, it looks like I turned invisible while in fact, I’m not there at all. If I do it at the right time I won’t get any damage from attacks.” Yon looked at the sparkling eyes of Kutch and Safo. They were listening with astonishment. An ability to create a dimension sounded out of the world. Fantastic, even by their standards.

Yon went on explaining to them everything about his resource, strengths, and weaknesses. He could be totally invincible to any attacks while locked in his sub-dimension which was beneficial to Yon. But the downside was that he couldn’t see the outside world, only hear it.
“So you really did attack me when I spoke, I thought you were waiting for me to be distracted. What an unusual ability.” Safo.
Finally, the trio agreed on a plan and informed Captain Seaghoul about it. Seaghoul scolded them for coming up with such ruthless ideas but still promised to buy the equipment and weapons according to the plan and they parted their ways.
On the way to their vehicle, the trio saw another trio. Three Advisors, Military, Environment, and a Financial, were walking towards them.
“I knew I would find you here, boy. How do you like your new toys?” Military Advisor tapped Safo by the shoulder. After some chat, he began to go to the point. “I came here so you could show your new skill to my friends.” He gestured to two curious Advisors next to him.
“Here?” Safo panicked a bit, remembering the last time. He didn’t want Advisors to be embarrassed in the middle of the street. Reputation meant a lot for those who worked in higher-ups.
“Yes, do not worry, use it only on Nachto; he has the strongest defense among us.” He moved aside grabbing a Financial Advisor with him. Nachto stood lost in front of Safo.
Safo looked for a backup from his friends who also were looking around for help. Then Safo looked at Elixio Quirz who nodded to him with a smile assuring that it was fine to attack an Adviser.
At that, Safo wore the Torch on a defense mode, meaning that it stretched itself from the wrist to shoulders. With a quick command, a motion of his left hand, Safo Nur turned the Torch into combat mode. Cannon-like cylinder took shape from tiny metal particles. Safo decided to change the hand, and the left hand was convenient in using the Torch for him.
With raising his hand and pointing it at an Environment Advisor - Nachto, he began to gather his soul energy. Thankfully he made a habit of meditating any time he had some free time, which helped him to constantly replenish his resource.
“Relax Nachto, it is not a fire attack, it is mental. You should be fine.” Maun Drew gave some confidence to his coworker.

Nachto stood still and tall, ready to be blasted with an unknown mind attack.
Safo started a countdown. “3...2...1…” The skill Fear had no sound effect when releasing it had no visible wavelength or any other thing to trace it down either. Pure energy in the form of deep instincts that were lost or been dulled along with the evolution, came out of the Torch.
Maun Drew and Elixio Quirz were staring at Nachto with wide-open eyes, scared to blink so they couldn’t miss the moment.
The second Safo launched his attack towards Nachto, thin white strings materialized in the air. One, two, three. More and more of them started to pop up and just swim in the air as if they were weightless. In a fraction of a second, millions of white threads came out, enveloping Nachto.
Things happened so fast that Safo didn’t even notice anything weird before everything stopped. His attack didn’t reach Nachto. The white strings wrapped Nachto making him look like he was inside a cocoon. And then with a loud thud, the cocoon fell down and staggered on the ground.
Maun Drew and Elixio Quirz froze for a moment and then burst into thundering laughter.
“Hahaha. You were right Maun. Haha.” Elixio was in tears, he slapped Maun on his arm non-stop before dropping his bottom on the floor never pausing laughing.
Maun was screaming incomprehensible words and while laughing, it looked more like a roar than laughter.
Safo was shocked, everything was clear to him. Two Advisors brought another one for the prank. But it wasn’t funny for Safo, he could offend Nachto.
“I suggest you… haha… run. When he comes out of the cocoon he will attack anyone in sight, and believe me you do not want to be torn apart by those strings.” By the time Elixio finished his warning he got serious. He knew the whole capacity of Nachto’s power, kids had no chance against him.
“Why did you do that? It is not funny.” Kutch came nagging about the childish actions of two Advisors.
“Relax, we prank each other all the time. Not a big deal.” Elixio regained his face, stood up, and was quieting down the panicking kids.
With a half-serious face, Maun came to Elixio, put his thick muscular hand on Elixio’s shoulder. “Do you know what you said? You said “run”. Haha.” Maun pointed at Safo, who was sitting in a wheelchair. Another huge wave of laughter attack came to him.
Elixio had an apologetic face for a second before exploding too.
“Oh, grow up!” Safo rolled his eyes but gestured Yon and Kutch to flee before Nachto came to his senses.
On the way home, Safo received a text message from a Financial Advisor saying that everything was fine and that Nachto didn’t hold any grudge towards Safo. “With all the fun part, I forgot to say that I will find a Special Order for you. So don’t bother looking for them, finish your hunting task first.”
At home, Safo, trying to forget what happened earlier decided to watch the video that Miloud sent to him. It was a martial art technique called “Bait”. After watching the usage of the technique in real-life Safo complained. “I can’t do that. Who does he think I’m? Bruce Lee?”
In the video, a virtual figure perfectly completed the technique. The first step was to “Bait” the face for the punch, once the fist of an opponent came closer, the figure shifted to the side his head slightly off the trajectory, and lifted his defending arm. As soon fist missed the face and entered the gap between head and shoulder, the figure locked the assaulting arm between cheekbones and a shoulder, simultaneously grabbing it with both hands. Then turning its body, a figure made an opponent move. Figure helped himself with his arm pushing the captured arm by the elbow.
When the rotation ended, the opponent was on his knees or with a broken arm. The technique was successfully launched for both left and right sides. After the whole video, a dark figure appeared in another video. Miloud's voice said that the location near Cilla Village was the training point to learn the technique. If Safo could put his face on the line and dodges the attack from the small rocks then he would be able to perform the technique with real people.
'I'll try.'

Note to Reader: I understand this book is not for everyone, if there is a writer that can write to please everyone, I have never heard of them. The MC can be frustrating in his decisions as he learns to grow and accept what and who he is. I believe this reality is unavoidable. That being said, if you feel the need to give a review, please do so, just know that I will report you if all that review seems to do is blab toxic language and insult my literary choices without giving constructive advice or alternatives. That's not just a me policy, that's a policy of this website. I'm not writing this note because I'm a writer who does not acknowledge that there are faults in my work. I know there are. That's what happens when it hasn't been professionally edited by someone other than the author. I'm saying this because I'm sick of reading 1 star or 0.5 star rated reviews that seem to do nothing but hate on the book because they don't like the story. No comments on grammar, ways to improve or suggestions for better story arcs. Just plain hate. It's not on, and I frankly shouldn't have to write this note, but needed to get it off my chest. In saying all that, thank you to those who do leave reviews that don't fall into the above category. Your appreciation of my work, or alternatively, your willingness to give advice for improvement, is appreciated.

No Strings Attached [Rewritten]
Warning Just so you know, you better be paying attention to the chapter title or else it's going to be like travelling across multiverses. Explanation Due to a single comment made by a wonderful person, or some douchebag in real life, I have decided to create two seperate stories. A rewritten version, and the original version. The rewritten version will somewhat follow the original storyline of the original version, but will have extra content, extra side stories of course rewritten personalities. The original one will be like a rough draft of where I want the story to go. Like for instance, the original story is like the first Link from 'Legend of Zelda', choppy but fun to read. The rewritten story is the Link from any game during and after Windwaker, smooth and somewhat follows the main premise. Overall both are going to be probably terribly done but hey, I'm creating a furture and past story so what should you expect. - Styx Whatever just put up the revised description. - Ariel Edited Summary Jay W. Blu, a dashing and charming rich boy who's been spoiled his whole life. He is very cocky, has a case of egomania and isn't exactly what you call a 'Relatable Main character', unless you somehow fit one of these descriptions and then relate all you want. He had everything you would probably want if you weren't pessimistic, realistic, or chronically depressed. But as most reincarnation/summoning stories go, he get's himself killed at whatever age he was and is sent to another world. Normally, he would be summoned as something you would call a hero, but since that's to cliche by my standards he is something else. Instead of being the hero of the people that he was told about by a friend, he instead summoned as the anti-hero aka, 'The Hero of Demons'. Now he must traverse the lands slaying opposing heroes as he tries to keep his mind straight, although it's to late. There will be weird people along the journey like a fangirling war general, a hive mind and a manly magical girl? Oh well, Jay is too pure to see love anyways.
