Chapter 12: Starting point
“I see, you damaged all vital parts of the ship, but they still managed to open Wild Warp and escaped from you. No problem, we will take care of them, you can forget them.” Eva was her usual self, all cheerful, loud and playful. Her easygoing nature and “always be happy” facial expression seemed as if some anime character came out of the screen.
The Head of the 10000 was irritated by a little girl who dared to give orders to him. On top of that she kept reminding him that he missed the culprits that attacked the Earth.
“It was because of your trio I missed that ship, you little brat.” Of course, he couldn’t say his thoughts out loud. He remembered that right after they fired and destroyed all main functions of the animal transporting ship, they received a message about a huge hole on the surface of the Earth going down to the core of it. At that very moment his most terrifying fear came to life. The monster that resided somewhere on Earth woke up. That meant the Head of the 10000 had to leave everything behind and run to meet that monster in order to please him not to destroy what's left.
“No, no need to bother yourself with those lowly creatures. We will catch and punish them ourselves. I know, you must have more important business to do, we can’t hold you with our worries.” The Head of the 10000 tried hard to get rid of the intrusive guests as polite as he could.
“I didn’t ask you for permission, Head of the 10000. I said forget about their existence, we will take care of them.” Eva talked with an arrogant tone like it was some bug in front of her. Her beautiful face raised to the point that she was literally looking down on him.
“Understood, thank you for your kindness.” He bowed.
Four of them, Mosj Earlanotq, Eva, Aazaam Jon, and Zeus, boarded the ship. They took the biggest, 5000 class ship, and fastest ship with all crew members included. They didn’t bother to tell where they were heading.
After Mosj Earlanotq instructed the capitan where to fly, the latter couldn’t hide his shock. Area was very dangerous to fly, due to the fast asteroids, star nebulas, and aggressive quasars. Place the captain was instructed to go was also known for its lack of warping tracks. Whole area was abandoned and included in the list of the restricted areas.

“We… We can use some warping tracks to get near it but after that we can only fly manually. It will take 6 month to get there, sir. Is it ok?” Captain almost peed himself, 6 month to get somewhere in modern time was an absurd thing to hear.
“It is fine, do your best, no rush.”
Ship was gigantic, it was the same size as the city. It had all facilities, even excluding main military bases and training camps. The place was packed with kindergarten, school, shops and many more. Soldiers could come with their families for the long missions, and that when all those facilities kept women and children busy.
It also had an extremely large gym with all imaginable sections. The Red Blood Army never saved money on their soldiers.
Aazaam and Zeus were there completely stunned by the size of everything. They were instructed to train with everything possible to get stronger, but most importantly to practice martial arts for the duration of 6 month. Other soldiers were there to assist.
“Eva, make sure they will be able to beat you in close combat. In 6 six month you all will have a test.” And then he left.
-----
An old, damaged transport ship was all in flames. Small pieces of the ship broke off the ship, absence of the protective shield put the whole ship in great danger when entering into the atmosphere. Dost - metallic robot shut off, Safo Nur also unconscious, Kutch and O’rmon tried their best to maintain the fall but there was very little that they could do. The Red Blood Army made sure to take down main functions of the ship. Regular Warp engine, protective shields, all and every weapon, emergency breaks, food fabrication machine and its storage, whole bunch of sensors, gravitational core and oxygen supplies had been disabled.
By the time flames outside stopped burning the ship it lost half of its weight by breaking off into pieces. Ship still had more speed than it should have to land safely. Kutch was kicking the Dost to wake him up. He had a useful ability which could save them all from crashing to death. Safo Nur was on the same chair where they installed a neuro translator, so the shaking didn’t affect him much. Which was not the case for O’rmon and Kutch, the ship was so unstable that it was spinning , shaking and rumbling throwing them all around. Both of them already had bumps and bruises. Despite that they managed to wake up Dost and detach Safo Nur.

When it was only a couple hundred meters before the crash the four of them jumped. Dost using his remaining strength enveloped them with his ability - Shield. It was like a strong invisible field of some transparent substance which was sturdier than any known metal or magnetic power shields that is commonly installed on intergalactic ships.
“Did you turn it on? Can you make it visible?” Kutch was yelling on top of his lungs, he wasn’t in a good relationship with Dost. And didn’t trust him much. But the fact that they were able to hear his voice meant that the shield was on and there was no resistance to block the sound. Kutch was in a state of panic and could not think straight.
Dost didn’t answer, he knew the shield was on and they wouldn't die landing. It still will be a very hard landing though.
Safo Nur heard a loud noise, he already knew that voice. He felt weak, it seemed like his body weighed a ton. He felt pain and sore all over his body, it was a struggle even to open his eyes. Next moment his brain joined, by its analisis he was free falling. It was at that moment when his eyes opened wide, self-preservation instinct made him forget about his fatigue.
“Aaaaargh...What? What?... aeigh” Kutch was on the ground, Safo Nur was on top of him and O’rmin was on top of Safo Nur. He made a funny sound when she landed on him. Dost fortunately separated himself from them, his weight could kill them if he happened to land on them, or even other way around they could get heavily injured if they fell on a metal. As soon as they landed more or less safely Dost fainted again, he used up to much of his power lately.
“Oh...what happened guys?” Safo Nur rolled to the side to free Kutch. O’rmon already stood up and regained her posture, now she was heading towards the totally destroyed ship.
“So much happened, man. I thought we were gonna die. Thanks to Teng.” Kutch had no strength to stand up. They both just lay there looking at the clear blue sky with no visible cloud in the vicinity.. There was Sun up high, making the day very hot.
Sofo Nur checked his sides, it was a desert. Land was mostly brown, it was cracked under the merciless sunlight. Nothing else could be seen. Vast brown dead desert.
“Oh, Dost, is he dead?” Safo jumped on his legs and ran to check the silver robot. It was now without its usual cover, exposing his metallic parts. Even though Dost looked humanoid his limbs were blunt and big. One could not recall a human by looking at this robot. Hands were twice thicker than usually should be considering its body. Overall, a close inspection robot gave an impression of a rough sculpture rather than a finished product. It lacked details. No ears or nose, two holes for a bulb resembling eyes, it also had no mouth, instead there was a round speaker. Some wires were outside of the frame, many many scratches, and some rust covered it. But one thing was for sure the metal from which the robot was made of was the best alloy. It crashed from two hundred meters and didn’t even have a dent on its surface.
“He will be fine, a little recharge is needed. Leave him. Let’s go check what survived on the ship. We have to leave this planet as soon as possible.” Kutch waddled his feet heading the ship.
“What? We are not on Earth? Really?”
