Chapter 11: Defenders
“Eva, you can summon the guardians.” Mosj Earlanotq didn’t talk much so did Aazaam.
“Yes, Master.” Eva was the opposite of the rest, she loved to chat about nothing.
After some time 13 people teleported right in front of the 3. Five women and eight men, all attractive looking, well build humans. Half wear military uniforms while the other half wear regular human clothes. As soon as they realized that they teleported and now were facing the three unknown people they became hostile.
Even though some of them were shocked seeing the rest they all took a fighting stance.
“What the hell? Who did it? Aliens are still here?” Said one of them pulling two golden revolvers out of nowhere.
“Those two don’t look human.” And like the last time aliens were accompanied by a human.
All of the remaining dozen take out their weapons, some from the pockets of their uniform, some just from the air. Pistols, guns, swords, and spears were pointed towards the trio.
“We won’t just observe this time, die you bastards. Formation two.” Almost two-meter tall muscular man with very curly dark black hair holding his small shield and spear dashed forward with battle-cry.
It worked as a trigger for others and they started to surround victims. They moved at an incredible speed. Aazaam couldn’t track their movements at all. In an instant, they were surrounded. The circle was 30 meters in diameter.
A man wielding a spear started first, he threw his spear which boomed right after it left its owner's hand. It flew tearing the air leaving a trace of a visible wind or crack in the air. Momentarily the spear reached the face of an elf-looking alien.
Mosj Earlanotq didn’t even flinch, spear as if by some magical force changed its direction and flew by him. Next came a dome of bullets, they took the form of a dome due to the invisible force once more stopping them before reaching the target. When the gunfire stopped bullets just rained down.
“Aargh” War-cry of a muscular middle-aged man came followed by a flash of bright light. And then thunder crackled the atmosphere. Aazaam couldn’t return to his cold-blooded mind. One impossible thing after another happened in front of him.
First, the fact that Eva told him that he is practically immortal now. Apparently, he had incredible restoration abilities and nothing could kill him. Then some random people just appeared in front of him and began to attack them.
He knew that Mosj Earlanotq seemed powerful, he was alien and then there was an aura that he emitted. It gave him an impression that even with his immortality he could be any near in comparison to that person. On top of the shocking events, the spear that flew with such a fast speed just moved aside when it came near Mosj Earlanotq. As if it had a mind of its own was afraid of touching him. Then the bullets stopped their trajectory and hovered in one spot before falling down.

And finally, now a human released a thunder out of his hands. His trio still was unaffected but it was a dumbstruck sight to witness.
“Magic?” was the only guess of Aazaam Jon.
After a minute of a thundering rage, the man stopped his casting. In the next moment, a man in a suit waved his hand as if he was shooing an annoying fly, and all thirteen were pinned to the ground immediately with great force. Some of them couldn’t hold their composure and fell facedown, some just kneeled.
“Don’t underestimate the defenders of the Earth. God killer formation.” A middle-aged man was furious. The rest of his crew understood the plan and began to mumble something like a spell or incantation.
“Stop”
Blue light descended from the dark sky. First just one then another and another, soon thousands of lights brightened the whole place. Black armor with the red lines from tip to toe could be seen walking from the light like a superhero who comes right in time. The armor was not of the old times, it looked much futuristic, light but sturdy. On the forehead of the helmet, a fierce dragon face was imprinted. It resembles an ancient mythical red dragon with two small horns on top of its head. The image was in dark red and was blistering like a neon light.
In a second, thousands of identical-looking soldiers clad in the same uniform with guns ready to defeat any enemy filled the area like some wild devil army from hell, indestructible and countless.
One individual stood out of them all, though. His helmet was adorned with two black small pointy horns, the same as the dragon image on the helmets of regular soldiers. Slowly he approached the group and kneeled facing the Mosj Earlanotq.
“I, the Head of 10000, apologize on behalf of the Earth's defenders. They do not know that you are a guest of ours. We didn’t mean to oppose or offend you by any means. Please give me an order, to make it up to you for the inconvenience caused by our planet. Please forgive and spare our defenders, for they do not know you are a dear friend of our late Lord Red Dragon.” Said the man in dragon armor.
Mosj Earlanotq was silent for a moment, his face looking down. “My condolences, he was a great warrior and leader. Let me ask who is the current Head Dragon?” Mosj’s voice was calm with a bit of bitterness. He knew the old Red Dragon very well. It was actually, him who invited Mosj to take shelter on planet Earth.

“We, descendants of the Absolute Dragon, appreciate your sympathy. The current head of the Dragon race is the youngest son of the Red Dragon, the Blue Dragon.” Head of the 10000 bowed before Mosj Earlanotq sincerely. He was glad that Mosj wasn’t angry by the defenders' transgression. Or else he could very well destroy the whole planet with ease.
“We were instructed about the promise of the Red Dragon, do you wish to choose another planet? We have plenty of options for you.” Head of 10000 was instructed to please the Mosj Earlanotq by all means. He was the worst enemy they could possibly have.
“No, thank you. My slumber is over. I need your fastest ship with a crew.” Mosj Earlanotq returned to his regular cold-blooded expressionless self.
“My ship is the fastest with excellent crew members. They will deliver you anywhere in the universe.” The Head of 10000 understood that Mosj didn’t want him to be on the ship.
“That will do it. Lastly, I want to offer a place in my little squad. One of you who is the bravest and wants to be a better warrior than now can join me. It won't be an easy task to survive but if you do, you will never be weak.”
Defenders of the Earth were determined to spend their lives on Earth. Helping to develop and survive, was the main mission of defenders. They were the elites, hand-picked by the former Lord Red Dragon one by one. Best of the best. However, they couldn't even touch Mosj Earlanotq. That much was his might, he was on completely another level.
“Please take me.” A firm and full confidence voice came suddenly from the bowing 13 people. His face still was looking down while he was on his knees. They didn’t know who the man in the black suit but if the Head of 10000 was so polite to him they should be too, considering that they attacked him without warning a minute ago.
The man stood up, it was a middle-aged man, he was in his 50’s by the look. “Please take me with you, I loved nothing more than a good fight. I cannot meet any powerful opponent on Earth. I’m ready for anything, just make me fight with worthy and mighty folk.”
Lots of angry whispers came from his companions. “What are you talking about? You want to leave at this moment when Earth needs you the most!”
“Zeus, it’s not the right time to make selfish decisions, think about humans.”
He chose the name Zeus for himself to be called. He enjoyed that name the most. It suited him a lot. God of Thunder. Commander of the Defenders of Earth. Throughout his long life, he fought many people including the ones from other planets. He never lost once. But his last two battles were depressing. Technically he didn’t lose, he just was not at the same level to be their match. His enemies didn’t even see him as a worthy opponent to their time. This humiliating experience made him reconsider his whole life.
“If that’s what you want then come.” Mosj Earlanotq was short as always. His approval meant a lot to everyone. The Head of the 10000, was frustrated at Zeus’ decision but couldn’t oppose it. He had no rights or balls to object to the Mosj Earlanotq.
“What happened to the intruders? We saw you firing at their ship up there.” Eva asked before leaving them.
Once more the head of the 10000 was dumbstruck, These folk in front of him weren't once of an ordinary breed.
When the Red Blood Army got the SOS from Earth, they decided to send him over to regulate the situation and to kill all intruders. Originally he was determined to capture the transporting ship and its crew alive to question them afterward. It was very hard to find the Sun's solar system out of the billions of stars in the habitat universe. His job as a supervisor of the Earth was its security and secrecy from the Empire.
Gritting his teeth he answered Eva. “They escaped through the Wild Warp.” As humiliating as it was, the Head of the 10000 had to retell the story.
Three battleships, two 2000 class, and his 5000 class advanced, fully equipped battleships were sent to complete the mission. Total of 9000 soldiers excluding the crew members.
The first thing they saw after warping to the Earth’s vicinity was an old animal transporting ship. Sensors located 3 living creatures. Battle mode activated.

Unique Fusion Magic Hex
World Essence. The mysterious energy coursing throughout the entire land of Vor'ten, and very possibly the entire world. This energy has allowed humanity to flourish, building great empires and vast kingdoms, conquering nature itself with just a sweep of their hand. Humans were the strongest existence, and with the help of channeling this World Essence, many were able to turn into Magic Knights, gaining magical abilities to combat the various fierce beasts throughout the lands.Alas... those glory days of old were long gone. Humanity has now been pushed to the brink of destruction, and now the remaining members of the human race are encased within giant domes known as 'Alkkras', made with the last remaining bits of the World Essence. It was said that those giant domes were the last gifts left by the remnants of the ancient human race, as a means to protect the future generation from the attacks of the many wild beasts roaming outside. Five Spiritualist Invokers, all combined together, used the last bit of the World Essence and sacrificed their lives to lay a gigantic, 1028-seal formation magic array to form these barriers, forever saving humanity, but also trapping humanity within these barriers. However, the humans were never completely helpless. No matter how little World Essence was left, the humans still had some remaining. Realizing the incoming crisis, the humans found a way to seal World Essence inside a special type of crystal. Soon, these crystals began to become implanted into weapons, turning them into World Essence Weapons, and they began to display properties of their own. Extreme heat. Bone chilling cold. Absurd sharpness. These normal weapons, after being imbued with the energy of the World Essence Crystals, began to form natural affinities to elements. Fire. Water. Earth. Wind. Darkness. Light. Using these weapons, one could become a Chevalier that wielded the power of the elements. However, if one wanted to reach a higher level of enlightenment and understanding, one could become an Invoker. Via the study of magic array formations, one could directly use the power of the World Essence to cast devastating magics upon the enemy. These people were Invokers, highly valued for their combat potential by the Army. These weapons and magical arrays were used in the great fight between the humans and the beasts long ago. They had long since been put away in storage, almost long forgotten...However, after ten-thousand years of suppression, the human race is beginning its counterattack against the Beasts... Synth was an Invoker in the Magecroft Academy. However, his talent was terrible, being only at the Spark Stage. This led to him being looked down upon and bullied. He was unable to cast any Calamity-rank or even Destruction rank spells, and was only able to cast Coalescing rank spells at the age of 17, a record low in the academy for cultivating these rare Invokers. Even though he put in more effort than anyone else, he was still unable to advance his Channeling Energy. But due to his constant research and study, Synth ended up creating a power that would go against the heavens - he had found how to Fuse spells together. After trying it out once, merging the magical array for the Small Fireball and the Mortal Judgement skills, he was able to create a mid-rank Destruction tier spell, Holy Judgement Flame. However, after this, no matter how hard he tried, he was unable to fuse more spells together or even cast them, and noticed a weird, pentagram shaped formation on his left arm. He would later call this mark the Fusion Magic Hex, a curse that prevented the wielder from casting magic that wasn't their own...This meant that with the exception of Synth's newly created skill, , he was going to have to create unique magic arrays if he ever wanted to step on the path of becoming an Invoker! This power that destroyed the laws of the Invoking System, and his unyielding persistence in testing and creating new spells, would later gain Synth the nickname the Unique Fusion Hex, and lead him to become one of the strongest beings in the entire World!
