《Earthling Soul》Chapter 3: The Plan

"And you call this a plan?" Safo Nur shouted.
"Quite, man! Be quiet." Shushed him, a thin but muscular guy named Sanjar. "You will rat us all out. I know, the plan is not perfect but what can we do?
And that was true. Others in the cage were afraid to fight their way out. Even though they saw only two people guarding them, the coworker of the girl in black was a very tall and wide monster in a metal helmet keeping his identity secret.
The plan was easy, four people will fight the giant while the rest will try to restrain him. Two gang members wielded a knife each. The soldier guy took an electric shocker and Sher was good in hand-to-hand combat.
Chubby Akbar with his signature smile described the giant guy. He was almost 3 meters tall clad in ragged clothes covering him head to toe with a metal dome-like helmet, one like Juggernaut wears in X-Men.
"So far we saw only two people who we have to take out. Juggernaut, big guy in a dome-like helmet, and that bitch. If we will manage to take out Jagger we can count on others in the cage. They will join us and we will ruin this place to the ground." continued Akbar.
Akbar along with the "silent guy", who still didn't say a word and gave intimidating vibes, were gang members. Being in the cage is not the first time for them. Sanjar was a soldier in the army, all three used to fight for their life, from which came their confidence.
In fact, the new plan had been improved after several failures The strangest thing was that they never were beaten by two overseers. Of course, the big guy used brutal force to push them back in the cage but never fought back.
Previous attempts consisted of about 5-6 people who dared to turn against Giant men and a girl in black. This time nearly 20 people agreed to join the uprising against two humans. Odds gave hope to everyone this time.
Using their chance folk introduced themselves. Safo Nur shared his plans to get married and his upcoming baby. Smiley Akbar worked as a pastry cook in a small bakery that he took over from an old couple with children, by force of course. Sanjar was a soldier, he was on duty when a girl appeared out of nowhere taking him by surprise. Sher, with his perfect structured body and handsome face, was a model of many sports magazines. His life was filled with travels and tournaments. However, he was very modest and didn't judge others by their deeds a bit.
After another 6-7 hours doors opened, the girl in black came into the room followed by a giant man who was dragging a huge metal arc.
Covered in ragged clothes, wearing a helmet like Juggernaut in X-Men, as his nickname claimed. He, undoubtedly, was a little more than 3 meters tall and very wide in shoulders. This creature crushed all hopes and courage of Safo Nur. He never saw a person like that. Safo Nur couldn't imagine fighting him.

The girl in tight black leather and helmet looked like a small girl near that colossal man. She looked gorgeous as always though.
A massive monster dragged something into the room. It was an arc-like construction. The metal arc was grey aside from its top. The semicircle arc top was divided into 4 colors: Yellow, Green, Blue, and Red. Small, black clock hands looking like an arrow were resting below the yellow color, apparently meaning that the arc was a measuring device. But what it could gauge was no one new.
The giant man installed an arc right in front of the cage doors. It landed with a loud thudder indicating its heaviness, and the giant's strength. He opened the doors of the cage as soon as the girl in black leather clothes put a new message on tv in front of the cage. "Please, one by one proceed from your place into this glass room. We are looking for one person only. All of you will be freed after we find that one person among you."
"What do we do? They are saying we can be free if we move to another room." Akbar was confused. He was glad to go back without a fight if he could.
"Stick to the plan, we will leave no one here," Sher replied immediately, he didn't buy the message and didn't believe that they would be freed just like that.
"Yes, I don't think they will leave evidence or witnesses." Added Sanjar with a stern voice.
A million thoughts filled Safo Nur's head. What will they do if they can beat two people in front of them? What if they have more accomplices somewhere near the exit? What if they are armed? How to fight the giant? Is it truly possible to win against a guy like that?
His palms sweat and his knees felt soft. He was nervous, his whole body was shivering in fear. He understood that he was with 19 other young people who would also take part in the fighting, but could not give him comfort. Stakes were high, almost a hundred people lives and his own included.
He tried to convince himself that he'd be fine, he had to try to hold the giant while the main force could deal with him. "Just hold him tight and do not let him go. Maybe if we win these two and imprison them we can communicate our way out with rest if they are here."
Suddenly Safo Nur felt pressure on his back. Sher saw him, he patted him. "He sure is a scary guy, but there are only two of them. While we have hundred people rooting for us." Sher smiled and went towards the exit to go through the arc. Excitement could be seen in his eyes, he was keen to fight and win his freedom.
"If I will not die here, I will follow this guy. He is the one who can make a man from any boy like me." Safo Nur gave himself a promise.

The girl in black pushed some button on the controller on her waist and the cage doors opened. Sher looked fearless, five people from each side ran by him and tossed themselves onto the big guy in a helmet. Hands and legs were weighted by them now, the giant didn't move he stood like a mountain waiting for his main opponent.
Two gang members, Akbar, and a silent guy followed those 10 guys with hidden knives in their sleeves. One knife struck the shoulder and the other hit his thigh. The big guy responded with the sound of pain, it came very creepy hearing it from inside the helmet. He started to wiggle his limbs in an attempt to get rid of the bugs. Not long after electric shock came hitting his helmet which let electricity pass with ease.
Giant howled louder as his body shook. He used his left hand full of people hanging on it to grab the soldier. That moment was the opening for Sher. Like lighting, he appeared on his side and gave his best kick.
Thump!
Giant stepped back to hold his posture. Everybody froze.
The girl who was still near the glass cage moved but was stopped by the giant guy. He moved his hand, gesturing to her not to intervene.
Giant made a move and started to toss the guys towards the glass cage one by one. He was trying to free his hands.
Main forces came to attack again but had been blocked by the giant. He used their comrades as a meatshield. Akbar and the silent guy couldn't reach the foe with their knives. The same was true for Sanjar and Sher. more guys ran from the cage to restrain the giant's movements.
Safo Nur felt soaked in his sweat. He still was gathering his courage to enter the fight.
Soon he saw the giant's back. He turned away from the cage to face Akbar who stabbed his back with both knives.
"Now!" Safo Nur ran. Everyone was a couple of meters from him but for Safo Nur those couple meters felt like a marathon. His heart beating overbearing with every sound from outside.
Next moment he found himself jumping on the back of the giant fiend and climbing him. Safo Nur couldn't give a proper reason why he did it. Nonetheless, he was on top.
"What now? What do I do?" Safo Nur was surprised and lost by his actions. He just sat there holding tight while he was riding some pony. Even the giant stopped his resistance at that moment.
But then Safo Nur found something, it was clasps of the helmet. With nothing else to do he clicked them open.
Unfortunately, the dome helmet opened backward making Safo Nur fall from his giant ride. He fell from 3 meters high on his back. Air from his lungs came out, he felt unbearable pain and couldn't move afterward.
Loud sounds of horror filled the room. Women cry, some of them fainted right on the spot. Some peed even themselves. All the guys who currently were attacking the giant scattered away. Some run back into the cage some towards the glass cage. Everybody was shocked and terrified.
Safo Nur was lying looking at the back of the giant, but he too almost lost his mind when the juggernaut turned to face him.
"Oh my God! Lion!" Safo Nur's mind was absent after that.
It was big, dark green with black stripes and a fearful lion head under the helmet.
ROAR!
He roared with all his might and anger looking right into Safo Nur's eyes. Then he walked with his hand stretched in front of him.
Safo Nur still was paralyzed after the fall, he couldn't move his body to evade the green lion's hand. Even if could, Safo Nur was petrified by his shock. There was a real green lion in front of him.
"What is this place? Are they making mutants here mixing humans and animals? They will do the same to me?" Nevertheless, Safo Nur didn't say it out loud.
"I'm sorry, I'll obey. Please, don't kill me. Please I have a child, please show mercy." Tears ran from his eyes. "I'll do what you want. Please…"
A big hand grabbed Safo by his clothes, lifted and moved to the cage.
The giant green lion put Safo Nur back into the cage and pulled him right away while keeping him in the air.
By this time people sat or stood by the walls far away from the door. They couldn't reach to take Safo Nur inside the cage, and on top of that, they were too afraid of the lion.
The dark green lion did that a couple of times looking at the top of the arc. Small green light shone whenever Safo Nur passed through it.
Safo Nur was too weak and frightened to oppose. But the next moment he started begging for his life with all his might. He begged everyone, green monster, the girl in black, and humans in the cage.
Sher, who he was looking up to, was facing the floor and ignoring his cries. Every single prisoner in the cage just migrated to the glass cage while ignoring Safo Nur.
It was because the giant green lion decided to take him with him. Without any concern, he dragged Safo Nur towards the door where they came with the girl in black. While Safo Nur was yelling, crying, and begging all the gods to spare his life.
"Please help me, somebody! Sher, please! Anybody, please help!"
"Aargh!" A scream came from behind the closed doors.
