《Multi Me Myself And I》Ch. 121 Making A Sandwich

JJ looked at AE in front of him.
“Yeah, I’m not doing it.”
“Well, I want you to.”
AE wanted JJ to practice being an Externity. As JJ gets better at being an Externity, AE's mastery over his new powers will grow. However, JJ had other opinions.
“We have all the time in the world and we’re practically one of the few powerful beings in this existence. Who still works after reaching that far. If you want it, you do it, I just want to laze around.”
AE sighed, this was one of the reason he made Jules and Eszero. He wanted his other selves to work while Jules or Eszero supervise them. Currently, he didn't have much on JJ to get the man to keep working for him.
"I'll give you exquisite french fries."
JJ shrugged his shoulders, "I don't want that currently."
AE felt like he was talking to a brick wall. He looked towards the others and saw they didn't want to work.
"You guys too?"
Jack looked with boredom at AE, "We're all monkeys, monkeys don't like to work."
AE fell into thought and decided on an action. He would send them to other worlds to give him fresh experiences. Everyone saw and felt his thoughts. They told him what they wanted and he obliged.
Jelly appeared in a vibrant forest with the sun shining down on him. He was in the form of an adult man. His white hair long hair shined under the sun as he looked around through his crystal clear glasses.
The warmth of the sun touched Jelly and he felt comfy in his lab coat. Jelly felt happy inside in the nice-looking environment and enjoyed it. He took out some Jelly beans and started munching on them.
The jelly beans juicy flavor gushed out and he smiled.
“Can I have one?” a small voice came.
A small surprise filled Jelly as he was sure there were no intelligent living things around. Jelly looked down and saw a small flower. He saw a small humanoid plant creature. The creature wore leaf clothes and a flower hat.
Jelly smiled at the creature as it looked back curiously at him. He took out a green jelly bean from his lab coat pocket and handed it to the creature. The creature took it with a cute smile and started munching on the jelly bean.
Jelly watched it eat with a smile and curiosity. The creature felt Jelly’s gaze but did not mind and kept eating.
“What creature are you?”
The creature looked at Jelly with its blue eyes.
“I'm a Gaflir.”
Jelly sounded the word, “Gaflir.”
Jelly felt the word sounded peaceful and nice. However, he could also feel a great will from it.
“What’s your name?”
The Gaflir finished eating the jelly bean and looked at Jelly.
“My is Fliran.”

Jelly bent down to Fliran and looked closely.
“You don’t seem to be afraid of me.”
Fliran smiled and laughed happishly with knowing eyes.
“I can detect hostile things, I sense no hostility from you.”
Jelly gave a slit eyes look with a smile and tilted his head.
“What about now.”
Emotions erupted from Jelly and engulfed Fliran. Fliran felt immense evil, hatred, and hostility from Jelly. He felt and could see that Jelly would torture him and his entire race for a long time.
The fear made Fliran stiffen and he felt he was underwater. Saps came out from Fliran's pore as he willed himself to flee. Jelly grabbed him and Fliran felt petrified under Jelly's gaze.
Jelly suddenly licked him and the negative emotions he felt from Jelly disappeared. He looked at Jelly with surprise as only the emotion of care, love, and knowledge came from Jelly.
Jelly place him down with a friendly kind smile and patted his head. Jelly disappeared and Fliran was left with his small mouth wide open. Jelly looked close at the water and tried to search for water critter.
Jelly appeared by a lake with sands. The lake was surrounded by dense forest. He looked in the distance and saw some ducks swimming.
Jelly took a deep breath and jumped into the water. The ducks looked at him as he quickly swam towards them. They spread their wings and flew away.
Jelly stopped and looked at them fly away. He felt a little sad because the ducks didn’t want to be his friend. Jelly got back on the shore and dried himself.
He lay on the ground with his back and looked up at the sky. Jelly felt bored, he often felt bored. He thought about making new potions but he didn’t feel like it.
“So bored,” Jelly whispered to himself.
Jelly stayed laying for a while. After the sun disappeared behind the clouds. Jelly walked into the forest.
The forest was bright with green and there were many lifeforms around. The forest calmed Jelly and made him feel nice. However, Jelly knew the feelings were only a temporary treatment.
In U.C, once one started feeling the emptiness of life, they knew their time was about to come. Jelly had felt the emptiness of life long ago but AE wouldn’t let him die.
Jelly thought AE was foolish. He saw AE as a struggler who was only delaying the inevitable. Since Jelly had to wait on AE, he decided to pass time by doing something anything.
Jelly came out from the forest and stumbled upon a town. The houses were made of stones and the roofs were made of wood. Jelly walked into town and no one paid attention to him.
As he walked, Jelly took everything in his surroundings. The town was full of life and vibrant. People were chatting everywhere and exchanging things. Jelly went into an alley, he wanted to find something interesting.

In the alley, he found nothing interesting. Jelly felt sad again, the sadness seemed to affect the surroundings.
“Try to cheer up,” AE's voice came softly inside his head.
“Quite easy to say, I can’t seem to understand you,” Jelly softly replied.
“I’m sorry for holding on, but I promise to give us rest when I’m done.”
“That’s going to be a long, I don’t want to wait that long.”
There was silence as AE thought of what he wanted to say. After collecting his thoughts, he spoke his will.
“There’s so much, so much of us, I can see what all of us see, and I think...I think there is more to what is now. You understand me?”
Jelly dissected AE’s feelings. He looked up at the bright blue sky.
“You see a lot, but what will you see when I extinguish you.”
AE felt his existence weakening. He looked at Jelly calmly. Jelly was never a good sandwich maker.
“So this is your choice?”
Jelly nodded and AE sighed inside. AE did not know where Jelly's confidence came from but he was impressed.
He had fallen into Jelly’s trap, by refusing Jelly’s wishes, he refused the wishes of himself. AE felt his existence was no longer that of an Externity, Jelly had struck him down from his pedestal.
AE spoke with calm as the two were expelled from the world into vast darkness.
“Let’s see what you got.”
AE was a peak rank 15, a diety, and had the thoughtless serum effects backing him up, he was very confident in winning this fight. Jelly smiled beautifully at AE and took out some Jelly beans. He swallowed them and checked AE stats.

AE looked at Jelly strangely. Currently, Jelly was maintaining his life in the space between worlds with an expo spell. AE also knew expo spells so he was wondering what plan Jelly had up his sleeves.
Jelly kept smiling at AE and spoke, “Check my status again.”
AE checked Jelly’s status again. AE's eyes widened, for the first time in his life, he felt fear.

Jelly gave out a maniacal laugh as AE steeled and prepared himself. Jelly spoke loudly with vigor and madness.
“They say humans shouldn’t lose their emotions as emotions make them humans. However, one shouldn’t doubt evolution.”
Jelly took out more jelly beans and ate them. AE saw Jelly grow stronger as an Externity, the jelly beans definitely had the effects of the thoughtless serum. AE's eyes turned cold as he listened to Jelly's monologue.
“I can feel myself being taken over by my thoughts, it’s driving me pretty mad, but....” Jelly looked coldly at AE with a smile, “I think this should be enough to overpower you.”
Jelly swiped his pointer finger horizontally at AE and existence cut apart. Jelly spoke happily with a laugh.
“Don’t think about using something bullshit like the power of friendship or memory flashback.”
AE appeared extremely far from Jelly, the distance of a solar system.
“You monologue enough to be a villain.”
Jelly laughed and swiped his pointer finger as AE shifted away from the attack.
“My monologuing is for science, I want to see if I’ll lose with such an overwhelming advantage just because I monologue too much.”
AE appeared somewhere else with both legs severed. The leg stump was bleeding AE’s existence and weakening him. AE put his two severed legs back on to stop the bleeding. AE calmly looked at Jelly, if Jelly wasn’t such a bad fighter, he would most likely be dead.
“Tch, I’m really not good at fighting,” Jelly said with a laugh.
Jelly swiped his pointer finger and AE shifted away. AE appeared far away unharmed.
Although AE was unharmed, he didn’t feel too good inside. AE had thought he would easily be able to supress and beat Jelly but it seems that was not meant to be. AE could see that there wasn’t much he could do to beat Jelly and he contemplated fleeing.
Jelly seemed to see through his thoughts and spoke mockingly with a smile.
“Thinking of running away aye, looks like you don’t have any honor.”
AE looked at Jelly calmly. He could tell Jelly was agitating him to make him stay. However, AE didn’t plan on falling for Jelly’s trick as he started to flee.
“Make sure to cluck when you get back to the others, let’s see if they’ll still respect you.”
AE froze and stopped. Respect was a superficial thing but a very important thing. If he ran from Jelly, the others would see him as weak and would definitely choose to fight back like Jelly.
AE was strong, and he knew he was strong. But deep inside, he knew he felt weak and lonely without the others. Every one of them brought their colors to his life, and one of them was challenging him with their color.
AE turned and faced Jelly. Jelly smiled mockingly at him with a knowing gaze and swiped his pointer finger.

Nine-to-Five Villainy
Once upon a time, a man that flew through the skies as easily as any bird changed everything. Decades have passed since then, yet life remains depressingly normal for most. For Timothy Lewis and Amanda Collins, there's parties, high-school, family trouble, high-school, awkward crushes, high school, and, of course, their rising careers as supervillains. Perfectly normal stuff.
8 117The Laptop Hero (Portal/Isekai LitRPG)
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] - April 2022 Silas got summoned to another world—by a group of kids attending magic school who seemed rather unhappy with the results of their ritual. After a brief glimpse of his summoners Silas woke in the town dump. Unable to speak the local language, a misunderstanding escalated and before long Silas wound up in a jail cell, the locals having confiscated all his worldly possessions aside from his laptop, which had formed some strange bond with him. Now he can summon his laptop at will, and he can view his Status, level up, and gain powerful skills and magic as if he were some character in a video game, which is great and everything, but all Silas really wants to do is sit in a dark room and play games on his laptop. Only, life isn't a game, and Silas needs to get his act together because everyone else is playing for keeps. Or does he? Maybe for Silas life is just one big game now, with everyone else stuck playing by his rules. Assorted Disclaimers, in no particular order: I am only posting this on RoyalRoad.com, so if you find my story elsewhere it was not posted by me. Please do let me know! While I do consider this a progression fantasy, and have tagged it as such, Silas's Status improvements will not necessarily proceed in a linear fashion. His RPG stats will have ups and downs, exploits and nerfs, periods of growth and stagnation. Such is the life of a gamer, to be held under the thumb of the all powerful devs, or in this case a certain goddess devoted to the idea of Balance. SIlas himself should learn and grow, improving and progressing in areas where he struggles, or rather, to show such is my goal. The story is told from multiple points of view. While other PoVs will come and go, Silas shall remain the only lead character. The world Silas finds himself on is not a nice place. Expect him to encounter gore and traumatizing content and bad people who do bad things for selfish (or possibly noble) reasons from time to time. Some characters will use profanity, however due to cultural differences the curse words used will differ from those used in our corner of reality, so I'm not including the profanity content warning. Silas himself isn't one for foul language. No explicit sexual content here. This novel is intended for mature readers, however, and will include mature topics, including, but not limited to, sex, violence, death, and taxes. No harem. Might be an eventual romantic interest, possibly even some competitive jealousy, yet as his story begins Silas is too overwhelmed with other concerns to consider long term plans. Musophobics might want to steer clear of this story. Same goes for turophobics. You have been warned. Keep in mind, however, if my other disclaimers didn't make this clear, I only have the faintest of outlines at the moment. This story will take me where it will. My goal with this story is to write it to the end, something of a long-term writing exercise, with the hope others might take an interest in my work and encourage me to keep at it. I've started a number of works before, even finished a few, but this is the first time I've shared any work in a public forum. My temporary cover was made by me, in GIMP using public domain images. If you can do better I'll happily accept your submission and give credit for your work here!
