《Multi Me Myself And I》Ch. 111 Succumbing To Hunger

In a wooden box room with wall lamps and four red couches, JJ came in and sat down. On the couches were Jay, Jelly, Jack, Jill, and Jim.
Jay looked at JJ, “What’d you find?”
JJ looked at Jay, “I found that Jelly created the staroe virus back in the virtual world.”
Jelly stopped sipping a milk bottle in his hand and became thoughtful, “I never created that virus.”
JJ looked at Jelly, he was trying to find a flaw on Jelly’s face, “She said you were poor.”
Jelly smiled a little and stroked his chin, “If I needed money, I’d get some people to kidnap some rich kid or use some disease to control some rich guy.”
Jill burped and stopped drinking the milk bottle in her hand, “Did she make the story up then?”
A few thoughts formed inside Jay's head, “I don't think she did, she’s probably a proxy.”
Jim stopped munching on some chip, “Who’s the real guy behind her then?”
Jay’s face became a little troubled, “I don't know, but she's currently carrying their plans out.”
Jim became interested, “That plan on going to the true world of existence?”
Jay nodded, “If our whole world was a tree and the person behind her is a root, then they’ll have to control every part of the tree to make a seed to leave our whole world.”
Jill’s eyes gleamed with some thought, “Then that Joy should have been sent to the Below world to gain control, however, she probably doesn't know the location of other world branches yet and needs Joy to find them for her.”
Jelly made himself comfortable on the couch as he laid down, “I don't think the person behind her needs every world branch, however, having control of multiple world branches would allow them to make a better seed suited for survival in the true world of existence.”
Jim took a sip of the water in his hand, “What about the world of the Void, I’m sure that's a world branch.”
Jay looked up towards the wooden ceiling, “She most likely already has something there to gain control.”
JJ munched on an apple, “Who do you think is behind her?”
Jay looked at everyone, “The person behind her is most likely the very first us”
Jill stopped sipping her milk, “If that's true, we might be treated to some gruesome sight soon.”
Jack’s eyes became a little sour, “We already have, she made me watch that Joy kick a baby, even if it was an illusion, she probably trying to get us to adapt.”

JJ gritted his teeth a little, his eyes were cold. To JJ who was born in a world of virtual reality, an illusion might as well be no different from the real thing, “Do we have a way to kill her and the person behind her?”
An uncertain look filled Jay’s face, “I’ve contacted Galvion and he’s willing to repay the favor, and after I gave him the details of what he was going to go up against, he didn't back down.”
Jack chuckled and everyone looked at him, “He seems like a crazy guy, but I don't think his expo spells are going to do much, what gave him the confidence?”
Jay made himself comfy, “He has no confidence, only told me that he’ll help if he has the power, I’ve given him a thoughtless serum, if he manages to become an Externity, we can rely on him.”
Jelly ate a piece of chip, “I don't think we can fully rely on him, I’ll try my best to make something to take her and the person behind her down.”
The six of them conversed as they relaxed. They knew that there was a chance Eszero was spying on them, but even if she was spying on them, they were confident they could give her a headache.
Suddenly, their face turned solemn as a diamond-haired boy with diamond eyes showed up in front of them. He wore a diamond suit, diamond long pants, and a pair of diamond shoes. The aura he gave was of someone in control, his very presence put the six of them under a little pressure. The little pressure surprised the six of them, for people like them, not even a tiger that could maul them to death scared them.
Jay looked at him intently, “Are you going to kill us, Eszero?”
The diamond-haired boy looked at Jay, Jay felt as if he was a spark of fire under a piece of ice. The boy spoke with a soft kind cold voice.
“I will not and cannot kill you, what I need you to know is that I promise to give you your desired death, I also promise to not commit anything under your bottom line.”
JJ gave a mocking laugh, “You sure as hell can't keep that promise.”
The diamond-haired boy did not smile, “I know.”
Jelly looked at him with some confusion, “Out of everyone here, you should know better than any of us that existence is meaningless.”
The diamond haired boy did not smile, “It's not about whether existence has meaning or my existence has meaning, all of you see me as a stone that persists under a moving river, if I were to tell you the truth, then what I do does indeed not matter, but before I leave existence, I would like to see whether it can show me something worthy in front of my eyes.”

Jill's eyes hardened a little, “Someone like you,” Jill tried to speak more but she couldn't find the words she wanted, it was as if she was trying to describe something that was nothing.
The diamond-haired boy turned to Jill, his gaze did not change, “My friends, I promise to get off the river once I reach its end.”
Jack scoffed, “Who’s to say you won't get on again or row back up the river.”
The diamond-haired boy gave out an unnoticeable emotion, “We cannot deny that, but, let a bird be a bird, and a sky stay a sky.”
Jay got up and the five converged onto him, his aura became nothing and felt like nothing. He had a gaze that saw nothing spoke with a voice that sounded like nothing.
“You can do what you want, we will be sleeping through it all.”
Something changed within the diamond haired boy’s gaze, “Stay and watch with me please,”
Jay's gaze remained expressionless, "You are a diamond and I am a rock, we are both made of the same thing but so different, let's collide and see who breaks, whoever breaks, will become part of the other."
The diamond-haired boy's eyes brighten a little and he gave a small cold smile, Jay was giving him a compromise, a compromise he could agree on since he was confident. For the boat to move down the river and pass scenery after scenery, anything and everything had to be done.
Jay did not want to do anything and everything to see the scenery, he did not care about the scenery. The diamond-haired boy on the other hand wanted to see the scenery with every part of himself which included Jay. He was willing to do anything and everything to see the passing scenery, he was not made to just be human, he was made to be something different, he was made to see every scenery.
To see all scenery, he was willing to do anything and everything. He was like a cook that wanted to bake a cake, to make the cake, he was willing to do anything. He would kill wheat, cause them pain, and grind their future offspring to make the cake flour. He would take an egg from a chicken, cause it mental harm, and make its life purpose to be fried and eaten. One could say that the diamond-haired boy was human, he was just a human that would do anything a human would.
Jay understood that the diamond-haired boy in front of him was a human, he could not deny the boy in front of him was human. A starving man will seek to be satiated. Jay was a starving man and the diamond-haired boy was a satiated man. Jay knew he was the lesser of the two, but before he became satiated, he wanted to prove to himself that he was no less as a starving human compared to a satiated man.
Jay grew to fifteen feet, his hair became more purple, and purple tattoos formed on his body. He wore a black tank top with baggy black pants. His muscle tensed and his purple eyes were filled with unhinged logical madness.
The diamond-haired boy grew to twelve feet tall, he had a slim strong build. His diamond hair seemed purer and his diamond eyes seemed more true to themselves. He wore a black tank top and baggy black pants.
Jay looked at the diamond-haired man with struggling ferocity, he was like a struggling starving man. The diamond-haired man looked at him with calm cold confidence, he was like a satiated man who had nothing to worry about in the world.
The room disappeared into existence and the two of them appeared in a cold white metallic room. A purple haired man and a diamond haired man looked into each other's eyes. Far away, Eszero looked at the two with empty coldness, whoever won would decide the others fate, she felt helpless in her feelings and didn't know who to help or if she should help. She did not want to be like Jay or the diamond-haired boy and she decided to watch silently for now.
Jay looked at the diamond-haired man with a smile, "Never got your name."
The diamond-haired man smiled, "It will and has always been Eszero."
"Confusing but alright," Jay ran forward and punched his fist.
The diamond-haired man dodged and punched.
The two punched and punched at each other, time passed and passed. Jay did not know or care about how much time passed, he kept punching and punching. After what felt like an eternity for Jay, he succumbed to hunger and started satiating himself. After satiating himself, he knew his beliefs and bottom line were no more. But one day, Jay hoped to become a starving man again, he wanted to be a starving man before he died, not the cruel satiated man he had been and will be.

The Waterborne - Blasphemous Series
Gamelit / LITRPG Elements are common in this novel. Some say a single action can't change anything. But what if you add another action? And another one? At one point, you would have to agree that a single action can change a person's life. When a young woman is plagued by a mental illness, only a benevolent god can give her a deal worth taking. Living again in another world where underwater monsters, rebellious factions and ancient artefacts are common place, we will have to see, just how much a single action can change things. Updated M - W - S (During the editing / rewriting process, updates are postponed.) This novel is a part of the Blasphemous Series, which can be read in any order, I recommend new readers start with this novel.

Anchor Points: Age of Heroes
If you had a chance to reset history, knowing what we know now, would you take it? Six years after kicking an alien expeditionary force off the surface of the Earth back to their staging bases in the asteroid belt, and aided by stolen alien technology, the United Terran Republic Navy has finally achieved enough warship production to put the enemy on the run. Despite the facade of unity projected by the Earth's new federal government, deep cracks still lie under the surface that threaten the stability of world peace and the ability to protect humanity with a unified military response. Within this backdrop, the North American Union, now a mere state in the greater union, has created or reopened multiple off-books projects and black sites to house secrets both old and new that would be far too toxic or dangerous to be known to the wider world at such a delicate stage in world history. One of these secrets will draw Captain Henry O'Toole from his comfortable posting with the Jupiter Fleet straight into a world of conspiracies and secrets that could destroy the new, still fragile world order. Captain O'Toole will take command of mankind's first true starship with a secret mission that would be seen as treason by the new federal government. His orders are to use a prototype faster than light drive to travel through dimensions higher than spacetime and ride the expansion of the universe to create an off-books colony solely for the NAU. There are consequences for escaping time's jealous grasp, which instead position them to have a chance to change the course of human history. Fate has called the Indomitable Will and her crew into the Age of Heroes, will they be able to rise to the challenge?
