《Multi Me Myself And I》Ch. 100 Can You?

"Hello dear sister," Jay replied.
Reese looked at Erald and scanned his DNA.
"Is that your kid?" Reese asked.
Other people wearing white lab coats and armored gear came out of the spaceship and started collecting sands, water, and other things. Jay knew that Reese had scanned Erald and knew Erald wasn't his son, and he didn't feel like humoring her.
"No," Jay softly replied.
Reese's expression turned strange, Jay had always been one who was willing to humor her, perhaps he had changed. There were some questions Reese had for Jay but from her analysis, she concluded that Jay probably faked his death and traveled through dimensions secretly since it would definitely become illegal for people to travel to unknown dimensions if dimension gates were suddenly known to the public.
"How many dimensions have you been to?" Reese asked curiously, she wanted to know what her brother had been doing in the past one hundred years.
Jay searched through his memories and answered her honestly.
"I've been to fifteen dimensions, some were exciting while some weren't," Jay answered.
Reese put her right hand on her chin and looked into Jay's eyes, she was sure the Jay in front of her was real, but he's definitely changed.
"You've changed so much, are you still Jack?" Reese asked.
Jay thought for a moment and nodded.
"I'm still the same Jack, but living for hundreds of years in other worlds changed me, I go by Jay now, " he said softly.
Reese didn't detect lies, she decided to talk elsewhere with Jay.
"Let's talk inside," Reese said and turned away.
Jay followed closely after her. The three of them into the ship and through a white hallway filled with double white doors.
"So who's the kid?" Reese asked.
"He's a kid who was left here by the people in our world," replied Jay.
Reese kept walking and started matching Erald's DNA with different databases, she quickly found Erald's parent. Eralds parents were one of the first few who tested the dimension gate. Reese quickly concluded that Eralds parents probably decided to have him in this world or his mom was already pregnant before she went into the dimension gate.

As Reese walked on, she felt an itch, the foreign disease, and virus in this world were really going all out to kill her. They would easily succeed but Reese nanomachines easily tore through them.
"Say, how'd you come up with your new name? Did your other personality decide to come up with it?" Reese suddenly asked.
The two reached a double white door and went inside a very white open room. They sat on a couch with Jay to the right of Reese. The couch had a table in the middle and it faced towards a hologram screen. A circular slide opened up on the table and a plate full of food came out of it.
"I didn't come up with the name, I met a kid in another world from this one and she gave me the name," Jay replied as he placed Erald down on the couch and grabbed a red fruit that looked like a pear. He gave Erald the red pear and Erald started munching on it.
"She seemed like a good namer, so, do you have any juicy intel about the dimension space between worlds or other important intel like that?" Reese asked.
Jay nodded and gave her the info he found so far. Reese appreciated the information but it wasn't anything new.
"How many worlds have U.C explored?" Jay asked as he swiped his finger and activated the hologram screen.
"Not much," Reese replied honestly, "we currently don't need any valuable resources from the dimension of other worlds since our world currently has close to an infinite amount of resources. There's also the danger that comes with exploring dimensions and the amount of energy it takes to open a dimension gate is insane, not including the fact that more energy is needed to transfer matter between dimension gates. So currently, dimension exploration enthusiasm isn't very high, unless we run out out of our world resources which is probably going to take millions of years, there won't be too many explorations of dimension gate," Reese explained.
Jay swiped his finger and searched up the episode channel about insane challenges.
"How much energy did it take to bring a solar ship into this world?" Jay asked casually.

"The equivalent amount of energy a small sun gives," Reese answered casually.
Jay stopped swiping, a small sun was no small budget, it was enough to give energy to all of U.C for at least a thousand years.
"Shocked?" Reese asked with a grin.
Jay took a deep breath and calmed himself, he knew the government of U.C liked to spend tons of credits, but this seemed way too much.
"Who authorized this?" Jay asked as he picked an episode on the hologram.
"Me," Reese replied as she grabbed another red pear and gave it to Erald. The two of them were giants and Erald seemed like a small baby. Erald took the fruit with a thank you and started munching on it, the taste and deliciousness of the fruit was nothing like he ever tasted.
Jay looked at Reese and could tell she wasn't lying about authorizing the cost of exploring dimension.
"How'd you get the authority?" Jay asked.
A smug smile came on Reese's face, "I'm the current president of U.C," she said happily, "with my term almost over."
Jay became a little surprised at the fact she was president and she didn't get impeached already, but that was it, his family was rich, and become becoming the president of U.C by giving some favors wasn't that hard. Reese saw what he was thinking and didn't like it.
"Hey, I did give favors but I didn't throw money around," Reese said exaggeratedly. "In fact, I got to my position through hard work."
Jay arched an eye, he did not believe a single word she just uttered.
Reese sighed, "Are you still mad about that time I trapped you in a simulator?" Reese asked.
Jay shook his head but had a question, "Am I in a simulator right now?"
Reese shrugged her shoulder, "Maybe, maybe not," she replied with a tricky smile.
Jay sighed and his right hand moved. He pointed his pointer finger towards his right eye and tried to gouge it out, his sister hated it when he did that and she immediately knew what he was going to do. Reese's right hand shot forward and grabbed Jay's hand.
"Yeah right, hundreds of years," she sighed and said sarcastically, "you're still using that same trick, and no your not in a simulator."
Jay smiled and brought his hand down, Reese got up and left the room, she remembered some bad memories from what Jay just did. Hundreds of years ago before Jack faked his death, Jack used that same trick and he really gouged out his own eyes. She had a nightmare for a few days from seeing those hollow eyes, and he did that just because she lied to him about still being in a simulator. Even after a hundred years, he still hadn't lost that crazy side of him.
"Your sister is nice," Erald said softly.
Jay knew what he meant but some of Jelly's thoughts formed inside his head.
"She always like that until things get real," Jay replied softly.
Jay picked a new insane challenge episode and started watching it. He felt that Reese was hiding something very important from him, he asked about the simulator thing but Reese's reaction told him that wasn't it. Perhaps Valine had died, that would be enough to get a super reaction out of JJ.
JJ seemed to sense Jay's thoughts and he started struggling but Jay suppressed him quickly. For how long he could suppress JJ, he didn't know, it was best to see Valine or what was left of her soon.
Reese calmly walked down the hallway while looking at her watch, it was almost time to leave this world soon and she didn't want to be stuck here. Every moment in this world was a waste of energy that could be spent going back home.
Thinking about home, she thought about how to deal with Jack and Vanilla. Among all of Jay’s personalities that she interacted with, Jack was the one who would be the most hostile to Vanilla. Perhaps she could ask Jay’s other personality to disintegrate some of Jack’s memory. Thinking about Jay’s personality, she was sure there were a few more he made, she was a little interested in meeting them.

8 79I was Reborn as the Villainess but I will become a Great Sage
Nova Allandis, formerly known as Suna Lee, remembers her previous life and realizes her current life is as the villainess in a fantasy novel she once read. However, as Suna, she was the laziest person with no motivation, possibly attributed to the fact that she didn't go into a major that was her strongest suit. Now that she has a high affinity towards magic and wishes to go into it, will she be able to change her lazy self for the better, or will she go back to being lazy like the villainess in the novel? Can she become a Great Sage and live life happily this time? Note: This is not a "revenge of the villainess" novel, but rather a "rise to fame" novel. A/N: This is just an experimental novel and criticisms are much appreciated, but I'm extremely defensive of my own work and characters. If you are here to put down a novel, please remember, first of all, you are not paying anything to read this, and second of all, authors are humans too.

8 195An Ode to the Birds
The birds maybe are the wisest from every creation. They look from above and below. The greed of man and the harsh reality is what they see every day. Monster and People of the Races is just the same in their eyes. They flew high when the time came, and chirping night and day. Like a man who has lost his sense of direction, the world is endlessly circled the same place. And powers, light and dark, stirred the clouds. Only some who didn't stray. Only some stay, to praise the birds.

This is one of three stories that I am offering as a test run. If you like it, then I'll choose to continue working on it. I have a whole plot line ready to explore! What can I say, I'm a sucker for rebirth, regression, and transmigration stories. This one is a regression story. The main character get's yeeted back in the past, to where the end began. Read on tortured souls as I do my best to break the weak, and sooth those who don't have a soul to break. I spent some time trying to make a story that explores all the gritty situations a resident of the apocalypse would encounter. Unfortunately, I do struggle with pace. I get just as impatient as you when I can't get to the next bloody encounter. But I despise OP characters, and I really wanna stop and explore the fascinating death of civilization. I write this in hopes of making a main character who get's to be the bad-ass I can't be, without, you know, skipping the good stuff.
