《Multi Me Myself And I》Ch. 96 Deity Dining

Jay was walking on the beach with the high cliff to his side and the waves crashing in. The fresh breeze of air and warm sun made Jay feel nice. It had been a few months since he had revealed himself to Erald and he was currently walking around relaxing.
Jay liked relaxing, for him, relaxing meant peace. Although peace seemed dull and boring, Jay didn't mind, he felt too relaxed to care and mind. The screech of seagulls made Jay looked up, he could see every strand of feather on the seagull.
Jay smiled a small smile and kept walking on, he was heading nowhere and just wanted to go for a walk today. He didn't know what he was going to find but he was hoping he find something. After walking for a while, Jay came across a large cave.
The cave was wide and filled with sandy water and rocky ground. There was probably a creature inside and Jay decided to see what it was. Walking inside the cave, the darkness enveloped Jay's small body. Jay seemed so lonely and weak in the cave, but there was no trace of fear on him.
A romrain looked at Jay from within the darkness. It was a rocky black fish with a sword head and four web limbs. It was as big as a horse with shiny scales. It stood still and its red eyes scanned Jay. Jay looked the romrain in its eyes and it stared back. Jay didn't smile, he found the creature interesting for a moment and no more.
He turned his back and went towards the exit of the cave, his small shoes splish splash into the water and the romrain seemed to want to attack. After a moment of hesitation, the romrain decided not to attack.
Jay left the cave and decided to go back to his house. As Jay walked, Erald looked at him while using magic, Jay looked at back him and smiled. Erald stopped using his magic and went back to watering his flowers. Today was a special day and he had something to tell Jay. The deity dining was going to be held.
Jay heard about the deity dining from Erald, it was a time when the deity came together and fight for Zekyirx essence using their chosen. If their chosen became strong enough, their chosen could become a deity and they who supported them will get a huge amount of Zekyirx essence.

Erald didn't care about the amount of Zekyirx he had since he was already strong. Jay had never come into contact with Zekyirx essence, and Erald decided to give Jay a chance of obtaining some by taking Erald's spot in the deity dining. Jay at first wasn't very interested in Zekyirx essence, but after concluding that it would help him with his goal of erasing his existence, he decided to accept Erald's offer.
Erald finished watering his flower and Jay came up the hill towards him. Erald smiled and greeted Jay. Jay greeted him back.
"Are you ready?" Erald asked.
Jay nodded and Erald casted magic. Magic enveloped Jay and Erald and they disappeared from the wheat field on top of the cliff. Jay felt himself passing through a strong dimension wall easily and he opened his eyes. He was in a grand giant majestic hall with a big round table and many chairs. Erald picked a chair and sat in it, Jay took a chair close by Erald and sat with him.
There were other people around and more were showing up. The people around were deities and Jay felt they weren't humans. This made sense to Jay though, not all deities had to be humans. The hall became full of humans and they were wearing a variety of clothes. They all looked pleasing to be pleasing to the eyes. Some took a glance at Jay and no more while others lingered on him.
A man with a black suit, a black top hat, a black long pant, pitch-black eyes, and pitch hair came up to Jay. Jay felt no hostility from the man and Erald didn't look or say anything.
"May I have your name?" The man asked.
"Purple," Jay replied. Jay at first thought of giving his real name then decided not to, he didn't know what sort of magic these deities could do.
"Mines Agrane," Agrane replied.
Jay nodded and wondered what the man was going to say next.
"What type of person are you?" Agrane asked curiously.
"A cynical person," Jay replied casually.
"I see," Agrane said with a smile and left.
"Who's he?" Jay asked quietly to Erald.
"He's a person that goes around gathering information in the deity gathering," Erald replied honestly.
Jay nodded and went back to looking around the room with his mana perception. Time passed and it seemed everyone who wanted to be here was here. There were fifty people which seemed quite many to Jay. Some people had a demonic aura, holy aura, void aura, mysterious aura, and other auras Jay had never encountered before.

A gruff man with long black hair, two horns, red eyes, pale skin, wearing a black suit, a white shirt, a long black coat, black pants, and black shoes stood up. it seemed demons liked wearing blacks, or maybe that was just the color this particular demon prefer.
Erald sent a quiet thought inside Jay’s head, “That’s Dilaren, it's his turn to decide the world for this deity dining.”
Dilaren seemed to cast some magic spell and bubbles of many colors started showing up. He looked at each bubble intently and picked one. The bubble expanded and Dilaren seemed to try and communicate with it. Everyone else watched silently. After a while, Dilaren nodded and the bubble faded away.
Everyone in the room suddenly started casting zekyirx magic. Jay felt the majestic hall move out of the world barrier and it showed up in a space filled with stars and planets. The movement of the majestic hall surprised Jay a little, if he studied and dissected its movement enough, he might be able to further perfect his dimension traveling spell.
There was a gigantic blue planet with green continents that seemed to have life in front of them. Scanning the world with his mana perception, Jim detected an advance human society. He had hoped for a different race society but this was fine. A will that seemed to be of the world enveloped everyone and they started casting magic.
A drop of liquid flew out of everyone's body. The liquids had a variety of colors and they flew towards the planet. Upon collision with the planet, they formed stone gates that opened to darkness, and energy of all sorts started gushing out from them. The energy changed the creatures they came in contact with.
From Jay’s analysis, the tower led to the deities' world and the energy harvested from them would greatly help this world’s growth. It was like a trade between two places where one had the resources the other needed. Now then, It was time to choose a chosen that had the potential to become a deity and connect their world with other worlds.
From this, Jay saw that the deity dining purpose to make a world trading energy web that would benefit many worlds. The creature that became a deity would help lead their world towards growth by taking part in the deity dining and connecting their world with other worlds.
A mirror showed up in front of everybody and everyone placed their hands on it. Erald didn't place his hand on the mirror and handed it to Jay. Jay took the mirror and placed his hand on it. A type of energy seemed to connect with Jay’s existence and he knew how to use it. Everyone left the majestic hall and went towards the doors that led to their room.
Erald guided Jay to a room that opened up to a small island full of wheat, a sun, surrounded by an ocean, and two yellow beanie cushion. Erald and Jay sat on the beanie cushions.
“It's time to pick your chosen,” said Erald, “you can pick whenever you want though, but it's best to pick early if you don't want to lose a potential winner.”
Jay looked into the world and saw many types of humans that were currently in trouble. They all seemed to panic and were fearful. Jay suddenly felt like helping them out. He placed his hand on the mirror and he came in contact with the world will.
The world will seem to be the will of all things and it understood Jay. Jay wanted to give every living being in the world a status screen to help them out and the world agreed. Jay casted an expo spell and it spread throughout the world. Every living being received a status screen. The other deities in their room were surprised but they accepted it.
Looking at the world, Jay decided to pick when he felt like it. The other deities had played the game far longer than him and they most definitely have more experience than him, but Jay was somewhat confident he could beat them.

Reborn Into My Novel
What if you lived in the world of your own creation? As fate would have it, our dear amateur novelist, Ellie, was reborn into the world of her fantasy novel after falling asleep at her computer. Bewildered as she was, the first person that she met was the protagonist of her novel. To add salt to the wound, it was right before the tragedy that decimated his village as per his backstory. Will Ellie save the village (and herself) to risk changing the fundamentals of her novel? Will she instead let the story run its course and leave everyone in the village to their deaths? Disclaimer: This novel is a work in progress and will be updated hopefully at least once a week. Expect minor mistakes (maybe some typos and punctuation errors) since this is the very first draft. The author suffers from perfectionism and impostor syndrome and therefore attempts to use this as sort of a therapy to break away from perfectionism and self doubt. Basically, the author employs a “I don’t care anymore and screw this trash work” mindset just to get stuff rolling and not set any expectations. Basically, basically, the author just wants to write something and not care about planning and quality and all those nice things about writing a GOOD novel since it’s counterproductive. Kthxbye. ps: Thanks for even reading this trash work pps: You’re not trash for reading this trash work btw ppps: Thanks I love y’all so much Shout out!
