《Multi Me Myself And I》Ch. 94 Just Like You See

Jim went to the left side of the cave where the houthall went long ago. He was feeling quite aggressive, this was most likely because he was in a new type of body with a different psychology. While walking, Jim used his void scanner, he didn't detect any void creature. Most of the void creatures in the cave had been hunted by him. The cave zone had become a dangerous zone and weak void creature no longer showed up. The occasional human showed up but they quickly left since there was nothing to hunt.
As Jim walked, he kept himself alert, even if he was strong right now, it didn't hurt to be cautious. As he left the temcles original territory, he saw fewer and fewer holes. Jim soon left the temcles territory and came upon a big hole filled with water. There were no other paths left beside the way he came from.
The water looked dark and deep, but Jim didn't fear it, having hunted as an apex predator for a long time, Jim didn't fear much. Jim walked towards the water and sank. His body detected salt and unknown knowledge came upon him.
It seems he was most likely in an ocean and the cave he had left was most likely temcles nesting ground. Jim kept sinking until he touched the ground, he didn't have to worry about air since void energy was all he needed.
He looked around and didn't see any marine life. Jim saw a single big tunnel and started swimming through it. He swam for a long while until he reached the end of the tunnel.
When he got out of the tunnel, he saw that the tunnel was on an underwater cliff side. He swam up to the top of the cliff and saw many marine life. He looked down the cliff and saw a dark abyss that stretched on as far as the eye can see with no ground in sight. Unknown knowledge came upon him and Jim realized he was most likely at a place where two tectonic plates met each other.
Jim wondered whether he should sink into the darkness or go through the top of the cliff and find land. After thinking for a moment, he decided to go through the top of the cliff, there were most likely stronger creatures in the dark depth below him, it was best to go through the safer path.
Jim landed on the top of the cliff and started walking underwater. A long fish with grass-like hair looked at him and quickly swam away. Tiny fishes around him started fleeing. An armored gigantic fish saw Jim and started fleeing.
The void presence of Jim could be felt and that meant danger. As Jim walked through marine plants and other life forms, he thought about what he wanted. He had lived for a long time in the temcles cave under the fear of pain and now that he was free he did not know what to do. A moment of thinking passed and Jim decided to explore the world he was in. Unknown knowledge that he had obtained long ago told him that he was no longer in Fogalis or the snake world.

Jim walked for a long time and he soon reached a slope that went upward. He went up the slope and reached a bunch of giant rocks. He swam up towards the surface of the water and saw that the giant rocks were under a cliff, the waves crashed onto Jim and pushed him towards the giant rock and he got on them.
He looked at the cliff and opened his hand. He dug his sharp fingers into the cliff and started scaling up. Hand by hand, feet by feet, he soon reached the top of the cliff. Jim looked around his surrounding with the high view he had and saw a vast land with cliffs, forest, grassy plain, hills, mountains, villages, and towns. He found that it looked amazing and he smiled.
Jim's knees fell to the ground, it was then he realized being in that dark cave took a mental toll on him. If he wasn't a void creature, he might have gone insane. On the top of the cliff he was on, close by him, was a windmill and a big house. Close by the windmill was a sea of golden wheat. Jim didn't know why, but he liked the view, it looked very pretty.
As he looked at the vast plain of golden wheat, he wondered what he should do next. The humans at the villages definitely won't be friendly to him so he couldn't come in contact with them.
A golden-haired kid with a small green robe, white shirt, green pants, and green shoes walked out of the big house. His blue eyes looked at Jim and Jim stared back at him. The child walk up to him and Jim stood still. Jim wondered why he wasn't moving or doing anything. Unknown knowledge came upon him and a notification showed up in front of him.
-
You are in the presence of a deity.
Mission: You are in the presence of a deity, try anything to survive.
Reward: Convenient Reward
-
“Hello, my name is Jim, what's yours?” Jim said with a deep low voice.
The child seemed surprised and smiled brightly, “My name is Erald,” Erald replied.
Things became silent, Jim didn't know what else to say.
“What are you doing here,” Erald asked curiously.
“I don't know,” Jim replied, “I just want to see the world I guess.”
Erald seemed to trust his word, “Are you hungry?” Erald asked.
Jim thought for a moment and nodded. A notification showed up and told him the mission was completed. He quickly accepted the reward and received a one-time instant human transformation that he could use. He used the reward and his body quickly shrunk down to four feet, which was about the same height as Erald.

Skin grew over his body and he became a naked orange hair kid. Erald was surprised but he quickly casted a spell and clothed Jim with an orange robe, white shirt, orange pants, and orange shoes.
“Thank you,” Jim replied without shyness.
Erald smiled and started walking away, Jim followed after him. As he walked, he saw that Erald was bringing him to a small village, most likely to eat.
As Erald walked, he thought about Jim, when he met Jim a moment ago, he felt no hostility. The aura of the void radiated from Jim, but he felt that it wasn't dangerous.
Erald reach the village and people ignored the two of them. They were ignoring the two of them because Erald used a little magic. Using his perception, Erald saw that Jim seemed to be quite curious.
Erald went into a favorite restaurant of his and sat down with Jim. They order their food and it was quickly served. Erald made his money selling wheat to the villages so he had plenty of money. As he ate, he watched Jim closely, the way Jim ate was like a human who haven't eaten good food in a long time.
“Do you like your meal?” Erald asked, he wanted a confirmation of his views on Jim.
Jim gulped the food he was eating, “Yes,” he replied with a smile.
Jim’s answer showed Erald that he was still wary of him but was slowly getting friendly with him. Erald liked friendless, it gave a moment of wonderful peace in his life.
“Do you live alone?” Jim asked curiously.
Erald nodded, he was a deity whose parents had disappeared long ago.
“What's it like living here?” Jim asked.
Erald became a little surprised, Jim was someone who was from the void and it seemed he wanted to live like a human. He had never met a void creature who wanted to live like Jim.
“It's peaceful living here,” Erald replied with a small smile, “do you wish to live here?”
Jim seemed to think for a moment and nodded. Erald became a little surprised.
“Do you have money?” Erald asked even though he knew Jim most likely didn't have any money.
“Yes,” Jim replied.
“How did you get the money?” Erald asked curiously. Erald had scanned Jim and determined that he was a good creature, Jim most likely did not get his money from killing so he wondered how Jim got it.
Jim seemed to sense Erald's peaceful intention and he started liking Erald. Erald seemed like the person who tried to understand you before judging you. Knowing that Erald most likely knew he was a void creature, Jim decided to reply honestly.
“There were many humans who fought others of my kind and they died leaving their stuff behind,” Jim replied while sweating.
Erald thought about what Jim said and found it reasonable, he didn't know how the society of void creatures worked but maybe they used money like humans too.
“Would you like to live in a house by me?” Erald asked, he was curious about Jim and wondered how he would live in the world of humans. It would be best if he could see what Jim did every day.
“Sure,” Jim replied and took a bite out of a fish.
The two finished their meal and went back to Erald wheat field. Erald casted magic and a medium-sized house was made for Jim. Erald could sense what people liked and didn't like and he made the perfect house for Jim.
“It's wonderful,” Jim replied.
Erald smiled and nodded, he went back to his house. Jim watched him leave and had a great impression of him. He didn't know why Erald was so friendly but he was thankful for that.
Deep inside Jim’s consciousness, Jay stared at Erald blankly. Erald was different from every single person he had met since his first death. The way Erald was different was because Erald acted like a person from U.C. In U.C, logic lords above all.
Erald was like an ordinary person in U.C, he minded his own business and went about his business with logic. Seeing Erald, Jay was reminded of his home. Erald stood out to Jay, in U.C where Eralds was common, Jay didn't care much about Eralds.
The most common things he had ignored back in his world was the most beautiful in this world. Jay smiled, a pretty thing among pretty things doesn't stand out, but a pretty thing among ugly things stood out. Jay closed his eyes and felt he had changed from seeing Erald, he didn't know what this change was, but he felt this change wasn't wrong. His consciousness fell asleep and he split into four.

A single promise shook eternity’s existence. — Fantasy || Adventure || Romance || Action || Mystery || Drama || Science Fiction — The My World To Live (MWTL) series, the alternative short name is Canaan, is comprised of three books symbolically named My World, To Live, and My World To Live. Two years prior, the entire story had been planned and detailed out from start to finish before actual writing. Thus, the story will never be dropped. While the genre is largely Fantasy, the book is comprised of many other elements including a School Life (Magic Academy) story portion. MWTL has a lot of scattered symbolism and allusions, hence, the mystery aspect. The science fiction elements progressively become more pronounced, and the slow romance is a late bloomer. The female lead is strong and independent, and her backstory and identity unravel as drivers of the plot. Expect lots of action/fighting throughout and scattered philosophical and psychological themes arising. It's a human journey to find the essence of one's living and purpose. What kind of world do I wish to live for? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I hope to share the journey with you~! Canaan's Original and New Covers: If you're curious about my art and the various covers I made for this series and other authors, I have a RR thread that makes free covers and shows art processes. [October 1, 2020 Notice: Hello, I aplogize to all followers for suddenly taking an extended hiatus. Life threw a lot at my face and then the pandemic happened, so I hadn't been able to write until around the last month when I decided to challenge myself and finish the first book in this series. I am ok now, and thank you for your patience and understanding. No words can express how much every reader means to me. RR was the first writing platform that I ever felt accomplished to any small degree, so I am forever grateful to it. Multiples changes have been made since this final revision and writing of the ending, so please see the latest chapter detailing the update. This also includes my decision to submit this story to the 2020 Wattys contest (the deadline was Sept 30th). That means I will not be posting the updated version of this story on here until the contest is over (since I doubt I'll win anyway lol). And so, if you want to read the full, now completed (woohoo!) story, please go to my Wattpad. Thank you once again, and wishing you all the very best health and happiness! FINAL UPDATE, March 7, 2021: The complete story has been re-posted after the Wattys. This version that was on Wattys is the one being re-posted. However, the Final Version (which will be on a separate book from this to remain organized, and is technically the fifth version of the story xD) will be released May 2021. For more information, please read this update linked here. Thank you to all readers for taking this two year journey with me!
