《Multi Me Myself And I》Ch. 91 Houthall

Jim woke up feeling hungry. He looked towards the entrance of the hole and slowly moved silently towards it. He was hoping the scale 1 temcles left. When Jim got close to the entrance, he realized the temcles was still there.
He became worried that it would keep staying there and he would soon starve. Thinking about food, he was sure the temcles would have to go away from his hole and hunt. Maybe something would come into the cave and the scale 1 temcles would chase after it while he ran away.
Jim crouched down and stayed still, he decided to wait for the temcles to run away so he could make his escape. Time passed by and nothing happened, Jim knew he still had more time but he was getting hungry. A day passed and Jim was slowly starting to lose his sanity, he could feel his body weakening and his stats decreasing. It seems his food is void essence and he shouldn't have used them all up every time.
Looking at the temcles, Jim suddenly realized it probably had huge amounts of void essence and could wait for a long time to starve him out. Seeing that he would starve to death, Jim decided to make a move, his time as a human showed him memories that starvation was not a good thing to feel.
Jim silently moved closer to the hole entrance. He planned on aggroing the temcles and taking a part of its tentacles again. When he got close and ready to attack, the temcles suddenly brought three of its tentacles up.
Jim sensed the danger and his body sprang back instinctively while his life seemed to flash before his eyes. The three temcles tentacles shot forward and severed Jim’s front right leg, pierced his right shoulder, and cracked the left side of his left skull while he was in mid air.
The tentacles' attacks pushed him back and he rushed back deeper into his hole. The tentacles chased after him and Jim ran for his life. When he got far enough into his hole, the tentacles stopped chasing him and receded.
The adrenaline stopped and Jim felt pain in his right shoulder, right front leg stump, and the left side of his skull which screamed the most pain. He howled in pain, his sight was only half of what it use to be because the three eyeballs on the left side of his skull had been destroyed.

Jim howled in pain, getting louder and louder, he didn't know how to deal with the pain besides howling loudly. The pain wasn't as painful as Fogalis curse but it was still very painful. Howls of pain echoed out from his hole and into the cave for many hours. He howled and howled in pain till his throat became hoarse.
Jim laid on the ground in pain, black tears ran down from his eyes, he looked and felt miserable. The stump of his front leg and shoulder had mostly healed while his left face had only healed a little and was still causing him great pain. Jim wanted to howl more to ignore his pain but he couldn't and could only feel every part of the pain.
Jim’s healing had also come at a price, his body had drained void essence from other parts of his body to heal his damaged body part. This had caused his stats to decrease while hunger kept eating at his stomach. Jim looked at his stats with a shaky skound smile, he was trying to make himself feel happy but it wasn't working too well.

He looked at the dirt around him, he wondered whether he should have tried to dug his way out when the ground above him was mostly made of stone. It was too late for regret now, he could feel his body eating itself and it definitely wouldn't take well to long periods of hard work.
Looking towards the entrance of the hole, Jim wondered whether he should let the temcles kill him. It was surely better than the pain he was currently feeling right now.
Jim took a deep breath and slowly got up. He started limping towards the hole entrance. His shoulder hurt with every limp, but not as much as his face. After a while, Jim reached the entrance of the hole. When he looked outside the hole, he saw no temcles, Jim wondered where the scale 1 temcles went.
Hope flared in Jim’s heart and he quickly calmed himself down. He silently limped towards the entrance of the hole and looked outside. Around the area of the cave, he saw broken stalagmites. A crunching sound brought his head towards a direction.

He saw the scale 1 temcles with severed tentacles and a cracked cone head, a pool of purple blood surrounded it. There was a creature feasting on the temcles. Its appearance made Jim tremble with fear.
It was a giant gray stone creature with purple cracks all over its body. It was ten meters and five meters wide. It looked like a giant ball with two strong fat legs and six strong fat arms. There were red eyes all over its body and a giant wide mouth on its belly filled with black flat teeth and black sharp teeth.
Its four-toed feet with black sharp nails kept it steady and its four-fingered hands with black long nails slashed away at the scale 1 temcles flesh.
One of its red eyes saw Jim and the creature turned towards Jim. Jim didn't hesitate and ran back inside his hole. The creature did not chase after him and proceeded to keep eating.
Inside his hole, Jim breathed deep and fearfully, this world was filled with nope nope and he wanted to get out. Thinking of his situation, once that creature was done eating, it would surely leave and might leave some scraps for Jim. With its big mouth, Jim was hopefully sure it would finish eating quickly.
Jim went back to the entrance of his hole and waited silently while staying hidden from the creature he decided to call Bouthall. The bouthall ate fast as Jim predicted, but it didn't leave. It went to a hole and proceeded to rip it apart.
After digging in far enough, it pulled out a temcles and ate it. Jim became scared, would it go to every hole one by one and dig out its prey. He decided to run out of his hole if it came close, it didn't look fast and Jim was a little sure he could outrun it.
The bouthall did not continue to dig holes like Jim thought it would, it went to the left side of the cave and disappeared along with its stomp. Jim quietly and quickly crawled out of the cave. He went to where the scale 1 temcles died and found a few scraps.
He proceeded to pick and eat at the scraps immediately. Food had never tasted better to Jim. As he ate, Jim made sure to be alert, luckily, nothing in the surrounding came towards him.
After finishing every scrap he could find, Jim looked for another cave big enough for him to fit in. It didn't take long and he found one. He headed towards the cave cautiously while making no sound. His roar which provoked the scale 1 temcled taught him a great lesson, he never wanted to experience it again.
Upon reaching the hole, temcles tentacles rushed out and wrapped around him. Jim could tell this temcles was bigger and stronger, it seems the bigger the hole, the bigger the temcles.
Jim let the tentacles drag him deep inside. When he got inside far enough to where he could see the temcles mouth, he opened his jaw and proceeded to bite and tear at the temcles. The temcles tried to struggle and push Jim away but Jim easily tore through every one of its tentacles and it soon bleed to death with a purple puddle around it.
Jim proceeded to eat every part of the temcles until there was not a single drop of blood in the hole left. Feeling safe, happy, and full, Jim decided to upgrade his stats with the 80 void essence he obtained.

He decided to leave 20 void essence in case he was ever trapped in a hungry situation again. Jim closed his eyes and tried to sleep. He felt it was easy to sleep and found it strange, it seems the void essence was easing his pain while healing him.
