《Multi Me Myself And I》Ch. 84 Paxran

Stake was in a grand palace room. He was sitting in a chair by a table with Altos. The two of them both had their eyes closed and they seemed to be peacefully sleeping. Their muscles were relaxed and they felt quite comfy. They were currently strengthening their mana and body.
The warm sun shined through the room's glass and everything seemed warm. Altos opened his blue eyes and looked at Stake. Stake opened his red eyes and looked at Altos. They shot a tiny string of mana towards each other. The tiny strings required most of their concentration.
The two strings floated towards each other and collided. They pushed against each other and Stake and Altos focused on their string intensely.
The large doors to the room opened and Yark came in, he was mid rank 2 and he had a confident aura. Yark came towards Stake and Altos and stood still. He saw that the two of them were contesting and he choose to stay silent.
The two strong kept pushing against each other and Stake’s string shattered. Looking at his shattered mana string, Stake sighed, it seemed Altos still had a better control of his mana than him. Altos and Stake looked towards Yark.
“A dragon by the name of Paxran has attacked Dohlos city,” said Yark.
Stake and Altos had interest and silence in their eyes.
“It is a mid rank 3 dragon, and its combat power is very high, I believe that it will require both your strength to defeat it,” said Yark.
Stake and Altos got up.
“Dismissed,” said Altos.
Yark nodded and left the room.
Mana came off Altos and covered Stake. They both became light and flew out the window. As they were flying, they communicated with each other telepathically.
“What do you think?” asked Stake.
“It's probably a dragon that hates humans or goblins, or maybe our empire somehow offended it,” said Altos.
As the two flew, people sent them messages about the dragon. It's a black dragon fifteen meters long with plated black scales, four black horns, a scorpion tail, a black underside, and piercing dark eyes.
“A darkness dragon, I wonder what kind of equipment we can make out of it,” said Altos.
Altos looked at Stake and saw that Stake’s hydra hide was becoming too weak for him. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get new clothes for Stake. Stake saw what he was thinking and nodded. The two flew on and soon reached the black dragon Paxran.

Paxran soared down from the sky towards the city barrier like a meteor. Altos saw that the city barrier wouldn't be able to take another hit and casted a curse of slow on the dragon. The curse didn't do much and the dragon accelerated. Dragons were resistant to physical damage and magical damage so Altos curse couldn't do much.
The humans and the goblins looked up at Paxran in fear. Wyvern riders flew into the sky and tried to block Paxran's path but Paxran simply tore through them. Paxran crashed into the city barrier and shattered it. He the proceeded to crashed into the city and shattered it up towards the sky with a tilt.
Paxran flew up and took a deep breath, a spell formed in his mouth. He fired a stream of black energy through the city. The city was sliced in half and Stake appeared in front of Paxran's face. His fist slammed into Paxran face but Paxran only budged a little.
Paxran looked into stakes eyes and his mouth opened with black fire. His jaws moved towards Stake and he bit. Stake quickly backed off and saw that he lost his right arm. Paxran crunched his jaws and the grinding of Stake's arm could be heard.
A giant stone hand rose from the city and tried to grab Paxran. Paxran looked towards Altos and fired a ball of black flames. The ball of flame was too fast and it slammed into Altos. Before Altos could recover Paxran's jaw filled his vision and Stake slammed his body into Paxran's neck. Paxran's neck shifted and he was pushed away. Stake and Altos looked into each other.
"How have we offended you great one?" Altos asked.
"A blue haired young human stole my treasures and told me I was nothing more than a lizard, he said I would die if I chase him to his home country," Paxran said with a low and calm voice.
"I don't know who the human your talking about is, but please spare the innocent," said Altos.
Paxran revealed his fangs, "Buying time for your ballistas? You overestimate your tools."
Paxran took a deep breath and fired a white flaming ball towards the sky. Stake and Altos immediately knew they had to avoid this attack. The white flaming ball exploded and shot rays of white lines towards the surroundings. Altos appeared behind Stake and shoved his hand into Stake's chest. He pulled out Stake's mana core and shoved it into his chest.

The rays of white lines collided with Altos and a massive white ball of light erupted. Lines of white lights fell into the city and a ball of white lights erupted. Paxran scanned the surroundings with his mana perception and detected the human who stole his treasures. The human was currently using an artifact that protected him with a blue barrier.
“There you are, rat,” Paxran said calmly in a deep voice.
Paxran had detected that Stake and Altos were still alive but his mana instinct told him not to mess with them. Looking at the thief, Paxran appeared in front of the barrier and tore through it. The young blue haired man in leather clothing's looked up at Paxran with unwavering courage.
Paxran smashed his five fingered hand down and splattered the human into red blood. He detected his treasures in the human space ring and took them back by floating the ring up with his mana into his jaw. Looking at the thief's splattered blood, Paxran could tell that the human was somehow still alive. That didn't matter though, he already got his treasures back and has repaid his grievance.
Paxran flew away from the destroyed city towards his home. After he left, the splattered human blood came together and formed back the young blue haired man. He was naked but quickly found a corpse to put on cloth clothing.
“Interesting resurrection ability you have,” said Altos.
The young blue haired man turned towards Altos and Stake slapped him unconscious. Stake grabbed the blue haired young man and went towards Altos. He placed his hand on Altos' back and Altos started casting his newly invented resurrection ability.
Everything in the city that died became undead, those that didn't have a body turned into a spectre. Altos sent a message to all those that died and didn't die and they quickly accepted it.
Stake and Altos rebuilt the city with their mana and left for a mountain to interrogate the blue haired young man. As they flew, they talked about Paxran. Paxran was a warrior dragon, a dragon that was far superior to a normal dragon. Although they couldn't beat Paxran together, if they had a ballista arrow coated with Wantil land a piercing shot on Paxran, then they were confident they could take down Paxran.
Wantil is a white crystal that they mined from a mountain close by where Jill use to live. The crystal stops the flow of mana and seems to keep a creature in a frozen state of time.
Stake dropped the blue haired young on the mountainside. Looking at him, Stake was currently pissed. Altos stayed calm and had a small smile on his face.
"Wait up or I'll kick you," Stake said threateningly.
The young man woke up with an unconfident face. Altos smiled at him and Stake glared at him.
"What's your name?" asked Altos.
“Bacran,” replied the young man.
“Alright Bacran, explain everything or you won't kike what happens next,” said Altos with a smile.
Bacran fearfully explained everything. Altos and Stake detected a few lies here and there and they kept calm as they listened to Bacran. After he was done explaining, Bacran looked at them hopefully, he hoped they would let him go. From his explanation, Bacran said he believed they were strong and could take down Paxran and when Paxran died he would have shown them the way to Paxran's treasure.
Stake and Altos looked at each other. Altos looked at Bacran and grabbed his head. He pried into Bacran memories and found that most of Bacran memories were being protected by some unknown force. He let go of Bacran’s head and Bacran looked at him with fear.
Altos pinched Bacran's skin but Bacran didn't seem to feel pain. Stake and Altos were both surprised and their aura changed. The fragment of JJ took over Stake and the fragment of Jelly took over Altos. They spoke to each other telepathically
“What do you think of this?” asked JJ.
“I believe foreign planets are trying to invade this planet,” said Jelly.
“Which planets do you think it is?” asked JJ.
“I think it's the closest planets who have detected Dayna’s early death, they're probably hoping to reap some profit,” said Jelly.
The two of them let go and Stake and Altos regained control while not realizing what happened. Stake kicked a stone under his right foot and it tore through Bacran head and killed him. The two burned Bacran’s corpse and left.

Dreams or Another World - Not a Zero (Update 09/19/21)
(Updated 09/19/21) Hello and welcome. If you made it this far and the book title sounds interesting, I'm hoping you'll read a few chapters. Here's a sample from chapter 1 of "Dreams or Another World - Not a Zero."Slowly starting to wake up, I become aware. It's like coming out of a fog.Head hurts.Body hurts. There's a conversation in the room. This isn't my bed. Someone is touching my arm. I crack my eyes to look. She doesn't notice. Is she praying for me? Her hands do feel good…do feel... Slipping back unconscious, my eyes slowly close. I didn't notice the soft green glow under Jenn’s hands.*******************"It does look like he saved them or at least stalled them long enough for us to get there." says the man dressed more like a park ranger than an officer of the law. "I did think he was part of it at first" he continues "but the evidence shows he wasn't there and they were certainly fighting on that back road where we found them""I don't care who he is." says a woman as she enters the room. "He saved and protected my Jenn. I will make sure there's not a mark or a scar on him before he leaves". As she continues the few steps over to the men speaking, even though dressed simply in common clothes, there is no doubt the race of elves is in her heritage. The grace and lines of her form. The elegance and lightness of her step. She glances at her daughter, still watching over the young man in the bed. "Do we know who he is yet?" she asks no one in particular."Not yet dear" a man in a white coat responds. A handsome middle-aged man. Fit, but not that of a fighter or ranger. "I asked Talon to bring another identification stone with him. I was hoping ours was just broke, but it's reading the same.""What do you think is wrong?" Talon asks."I'm thinking we just have to wait until he recovers. I have heard of cases where the stone didn't work. Powerful spells can hide or wipe a person clean. I doubt he's a spy or a criminal. Spells like that are just too high level if, they're used at all. My best guess is, there is just some disconnect with him being unconscious. When he wakes, we can ask him or use the stone again then."I find myself waking up in a hospital bed. The attending Doctor finds it odd that he cannot identify my class. An Officer says I’m a Hero for saving a girl from being kidnapped, but he’s asking too many questions for my liking. I know an accusing tone when I hear it. I don’t remember any of it and I need to find my way home.Author’s notes. Original work. First draft and update of chapters 1-16. Inspired by various fantasy games and books. Written with a focus on character development and interaction. Combat, progression, leveling, classes, but no numbers or stats. I’ll try to keep the language clean, PG-13, no smut. I’m in the US, writing in English. Almost fifty chapters are completed as I pen this introduction. I intend to complete this story or at least bring it to a proper ending. I have a destination in mind. I find as I write, doors and ideas open, while others close and are discarded. The tentative release schedule will be once a week. I'm new to creating. My apologies now while I learn. I have not settled on a book cover or artwork, still looking for something that fits. Registered & Protected #20VjeKDv2U6nynW6
