《Multi Me Myself And I》Ch. 66 One Hundred And One

Bandy was walking down a hall with one hundred other kids, there were security guards with guns all around them. Bandy didn't know how he got here, all he knew was that one moment he was sleeping, and the next he woke up in a new place and adults were walking them down a hall.
Soon, all one hundred kids reached a huge open space, two hundred meters in diameter, with a metal dome as the ceiling. There was a giant blue crystal twenty meters tall in the middle of the space, around it was a shallow lake filled with blue water. The children's stared at the crystal in amazement, they felt some sort of connection to the crystal.
Jay looked at the crystal in surprise, he was surprised that there was an energy source almost like mana and Ki. Perhaps this was the special thing he saw.
Jay thought to himself, “What an interesting energy source. An energy source that caters to the user's deepest wishes. Is this the only country or organization that knows about this energy source, or are there more? If there is more, then there is most likely fighting. Hmmmm, it seems these kids have the mentality to use this energy source, interesting, I wonder what they'll get. I wonder if I can also use this energy source. Perhaps I'll make a new me to....”
Jay thoughts went on and on. Far from the kids were many old scientist in lab coats. They looked at the kids with happiness and suspicion. They came up to the kids and the kids turned towards them. An old scientist with a beard smiled at the kids.
“Welcome, I know all of you are afraid, but I promise you, we are good people.”
None of the kids trusted his words, he was a stranger, and strangers meant people that liked stabbing them. There's also the fact that there were people with guns around them. The kids may not have a lot of knowledge, but they knew what a gun was and that it was a threat.
The old scientist who was named Epline looked at the kids and sighed, he didn't get the reaction he wanted, it seems he might have to use violence. Jay saw this and used Bandy's little energy to send a message into the kid's head. The message was simple, act and cry to gain their sympathy.

After processing the message, many kids fell to the ground and started crying. Some said thank you, some cried, and some hugged each other with happiness.
Epline didn't expect this but he became happy. Another message was sent by Jay. The message was to caters to the adults every wish so that they would have favorable impression of you. The kids processed the information and obeyed.
“Now then everyone, well be giving you new names,” Epline said with a smile.
Jay sent an unconscious thought towards Epline so he would have a favorable impression of Bandy. Epline looked at Bandy with a favorable impression and pointed his finger at him.
“You there,” Epline said.
“Me?”, Bandy asked fearfully.
“Yes you, from now on you will be known as subject zero. Tell me, is that not a cool name?”
Bandy put on a smile, “Yes it is sir,” he said with a smile.
Epline impression of him increased, it seemed him trying to fit in with this new generation was working. Epline then looked at the other kids and proceeded to give them names. Many kids took their name one by one with a smile, some didn't because Jay told them not to, or things will get suspicious.
After he was finished naming everyone, Epline looked at his work happily, these kids would one day be the strength of the country.
“Whos hungry everyone?”, Epline said with a smile.
“Me, me, me,” many kids said with smiles.
Epline nodded happily, “Lets go to the cafeteria and eat some pizza.”
The kids followed one by one and reached a huge open cafeteria with tables, chairs, and kitchen staff ready to serve food. Hungrily, every kids grabbed the food they wanted and started eating. Epline watched everyone eat with a smile.
Another scientist in lab coat came up to his side and spoke, “It’s ready sir.”
Epline nodded and left the kitchen with the scientist. As the kids ate, a wave of energy that couldn't be felt by them moved through the cafeteria.
“An Energy wave that makes people trust and obey you more,” Jay thought to himself, “Very effective on children.”
Jay didn't do anything to remove the energy waves on the kids, the scientists might have a detector to detect whether the energy wave was still on the kids or not. After the kids finished their meals, Epline came back in with a smile and guided them to their dorms.

Many kids were tired and they started sleeping, Epline left them on their own. Bandy went inside his dorm and fell asleep on the bed. That night, he slept peacefully. In his dreams, Bandy heard the voice again.
“I’ve connected you with others, have fun imagining what you want everyone.”
He not only heard the voice, but he also saw the kids around him also heard the voice. Jay had connected Bandy with other kids since he wanted to see what they would do inside their own dreams.
A kids started imagining their parents and their parents showed up in front of them. They cried immediately and hugged their parents. Their parents caressed them and whispered sweet word back to them. The other kids saw this and knew it was a dream, but they accepted it easily, their views of the world had not set in stone and they were still accepting new things.
Some kids imagined dinosaurs and rode of them while laughing. A kids turned himself into a dragon and breathed fire onto the scientists he saw. A young girl conjured the image of her superhero and her superhero saved her. A kid turned invisible and hid away from the scientist. A kid flew up into the sky while smiling and the scientist couldn't catch up to him.
Jay watched the wonders of kids being kids, he looked towards a kid and saw them turn into a grim reaper, the kid started attacking scientist. Jay then looked at Bandy, but Bandy did nothing.
“Why aren't you imagining anything?”
“I don't know what to imagine,” Bandy replied quietly.
“What do you wish for then?”
Bandy thought for a moment and looked at the smiling kids who suffered getting stab along with him. He softly answered, “I wish for a world just like this, a place where every kid can be happy.”
“Thats a sweet dream, do you think you can make it come true?”
Bandy shook his head and felt sad. Jay looked at him calmly but Bandy couldn't see him.
“What if I told you there was a way to make your dream come true?”
Bandy eyes widened, “Is that possible?”, he asked.
“It is,” Jay replied, “that blue crystal can make your dream come true.”
Bandy became more shocked, he then became hopeful and happy. “Is it a wishing stone?”, Bandy asked.
“I guess you can call it that,” Jay said with a smile, “Now go have some fun with the other kids.”
Bandy nodded and went off to have fun. The other kids accepted him with open arms and they started imagining fun things together, fun things like taking revenge on the people who stabbed them.
“Is it sane or insane to wish harm on others who harmed you,” Jay wondered to himself. For Jay, it was never about sane or insane, as long as he was happy, he was fine. “Lets see what happens, meeting my sister can wait.”
Outside the dream network, in a communication room, Epline was talking to a high political figure on a screen.
“How is the project going?”
“Very well sir,” Epline replied.
“Good, once this project is finished, those Naklon will never see what hit them.”
“Indeed, sir,” Epline agreed with a smile.
The screen went off and Epline connected with another person. The face of the person couldn't be seen, but if a native of the country Epline was in heard the voice, they would be able to tell it was a Naklon. Epline was a double agent who had been raised in the enemy country.
“Are you finished?”
“Yes sir,” Epline answered.
“Good, make sure it stay smoothly.”
“I will, sir,” Epline replied.
The communication cut off and the person Epline was talking to gave out orders. From the seas, twenty Ocean Floater started moving. The Ocean Floaters carried hundreds of Zighters on their back. From the sky, a warship flew above.

New Game (Reborn as a Reluctant Demon Lord, Book 1)
Portal Fantasy. Isekai. A daydream of nerds everywhere, leaving behind their boring world and living in a fantasy one that is full of adventure. A daydream that became a reality for me and 1000 other Comic-Con attendees. Except for me, it was more of a nightmare. Wanting nothing more than to find a way home, and also saddled with being the world's new [Demon Lord], I found myself trapped in a gamelike world and also somehow a part of the [Hero's] party. So join me as I tell the tale of my struggles. A tale of levels and skills. A tale of cagey game admins and bugs. And a tale of our party's grand quest to defeat... Well... Me. ---- What to expect from this book? 1. A main character who is not overpowered (and instead has to go from near-useless to strong. Not just weak to strong). If you are looking for an OP [Demon Lord] who laughs at his weakling enemies... This isn't for you. 2. A meandering pace as the characters aren't told how a lot of the world works and have to figure it out themselves. (And because there are a lot of characters. Whose idea was it to have a party of 9? I blame Jake) 3. A tragedy. A lot of things are not going to go well for the protagonist. (Not that everything is tragedy all the time. There is humor, laughter, friendship, and even a mascot monster character who got way more popular than I expected. But this is not a story that will leave you uplifted and inspired after every time you read it). ---- Release Schedule and publishing information: Book 1 is complete! I will include a link to book 2 once it has been started. Feel free to give feedback, positive or negative. ---- Other notes Book 1? Yes, this says Book 1. There are probably going to be 3 books. No, the plot as you can guess is not going to be tortured to drag out all the way to book 3. That would be ridiculous. If you can guess the plot of books 2 or 3 at any point before the last chapter of book 1, please use your clairvoyant powers for something more productive. TitusGM? This story is intentionally told under the username TitusGM because the idea is that he was the one actually writing everything down what happened after it all is over. I initially planned to answer everything in character on this site, but that just really didn't work out. If you want an in character response to a comment, simply prefix it with IC: (I also try to leave that as a reminder in the author's note after each new chapter) Cover art? Made by a friend who shall remain nameless at this time by his request

When Plush comes to Shove
An: So the last synopsis wasn’t really all that good, it was just some mumbo jumbo with no actual point to it so I decided to make a new one that’s a bit more accurate. Leo Lush, just your average everyday (slightly chubby) schmuck, or at least he would be if he didn’t carry around a stuffed toy everywhere he went.I mean, he was a man who could read the atmosphere a bit so put it away in his bag whenever having a stuffed toy out would be rude but other than that he brought it with him all the time, it was a memento from his girlfriend who had died three years ago and keeping it close made him feel better. That’s also why his classmates gave him the nickname “Plush”, though that's neither here nor there. One day at the train station he’d lost his dearest stuffed toy, one of his classmates found it and lobbed it towards him, something that they’d already done many times before, but this time something went wrong and Leo found himself falling in front of the train due to the force of the throw. Now follow Leo as the spirit that developed in his stuffed toy and killed him forces his ghost into another world to possess a different stuffed toy. He doesn’t know much about the world or why he’s there but what he does know is that according to a magic book his girlfriend was also sent to this very world when she died in a plane accident three years ago. An: For those who want to know a bit more about what kind of story this will be: I want it to be a chill feel-good story and stay as far away from those despair-fest stories as possible (No offense to people who enjoy them, I’m just not one of you)Let me make something clear; I’m not writing this story with hope of it becoming really top tier among RRL (Though it did get above rank 500 once which I’m still very proud of even though it’s gone back down to ~850 at the time of writing this) I just want to write a story that I would enjoy reading, that’s why I’ll be mostly skipping over a lot of the parts that I skip when I read other stories, such as stats, the exact value of money and other such precise statistics that no one(as far as I’m aware) really cares about all that much. Just feels like a lot of effort for something superfluous. There’s a single exception and that’s one of the battles, it’s not a despair-fest or anything but it’s got a different feel than the rest of the story due to me being in a funky mood while I was writing it.
