Fulso and Vizer had grow up to be adults long ago and they were now both twenty five years old, although they were adults, they still stayed under Nail. The two of them had become adventurers and were currently wandering around a mountainside. Fulso with his yellow hair stood out among the green vegetation and Vizer with his black hair blended in with the surrounding dark rocks.

The mountainside they were wandering on use to be goblin territory but there were no longer any more goblins. The two were heading towards the goblin city ruins in order to find riches.

While they were walking, Fulso scanned the surroundings with his blue eyes while Vizer watched their backs with his brown eyes. Fulso wore a full metal suit of armor with a sword and shield, while Vizer had light plated armor with a bow and some arrows.

They did not speak as they walk, they didn't want to attract any Skanny. Skannys were creatures that came to inhabit the mountainside after the goblins left. They are furry humanoid creatures with short sharp claws. They looked like squirrels that became humans, while standing at seven feet tall.

Skannys are peaceful creatures when they are full, but when they are not full, they will attack and eat on sight. Fighting and killing a Skanny wasn't hard, especially if one was fast enough. If one wasn't fast enough, they could die instantly to a Skanny.

When a Skanny attacks, they will get into a jumping position and tighten their muscles. Once a Skanny is done getting into position, they will launch forward while curling into a ball and slam into their foe.

Fulso and Vizer kept walking and they soon reached the ruins of the goblin city. Looking at the city, the two smiled to themselves. Vizer sent out a wave of mana and detected a few people hiding behind bushes, he then immediately drew his bow.

Fulso also reacted by pulling out his sword. The bush ruffled and a group of adventurers immediately shot arrows towards the two. The fight was two on seven and Fulso and Vizer became pressured.

The two ran towards the trees while dodging the arrows. An arrow flew and lodged into Fulso back, he screamed out in pain and gritted his teeth, quickly, he got back to running.

The two soon reached the trees and hid behind them. Their enemies walked down the mountain slope carefully, they aimed their arrows carefully at the trees. When their enemies were very close, Vizer pulled a ball out of his pocket and threw it.

The ball flew and exploded onto the ground. The seven adventurers looked at the ball breaking and became panicked. The ball that broke was a monster lure.

"Shit," one of them spoke.

All seven of them started running, Fulso and Vizer also started running. Birds in the forest started chirping and chattering loudly. Animalistic screech could be heard throughout the forest.

The trees in the forest started falling and bending one by one. From out of the forest, came out a giant Long Lizard. The Long Lizard was twenty meters long and it slithered on the ground while its emerald scales shined under the sun. Its red pupil scanned the ground where the ball broke.

It flickered its tongue onto the ground, its eyes flickered with intelligence. It then looked towards the entrance to the goblin city. Slowly, it decides to slither its way towards the entrance.

Before it could reach the goblin entrance, a twig snapped. The Long Lizard quickly snapped its head towards the sound and it hissed. A giant creature stood in front of the Long Lizard, the creature was a grizzly green bear that stood at a height of seven meters. The two stared at each other, their gazes unflinching.

After a while, the bear turned back and crawled off. The Long Lizard watched the bear crawl away cautiously. Suddenly, the bear turned around and charged towards it. The Long Lizard hissed and opened its jaw, it was filled with rows of sharp teeth.

The bear came close and gave out a roar which made the forest trees shook. The roar gave off the aura of a mid rank 2 and the Long Lizard hesitated since it was only low rank 2.

Unfortunately, it couldn't run now, the roar paralyzed its entire body. The bear came and smashed into it with its full weight and proceeded to claw at it. The Long Lizard screeched in pain and proceeded to claw back at the bear.

It's claws did nothing to the bear tough hide so it took a deep breath and breathed out toxic gas. The gas didn't seem to affect the bear much and only made it more angry.

Getting desperate, the Long Lizard wriggled around with extreme vigor. Unfortunately, it couldn't push off the bear. The bear who was irritated at the Long Lizard struggle unhinged its jaws. It's unhinged jaw was infused with mana and the Long Lizard knew it was going to die.

Seeing and feeling this life threatening situation. The Long Lizard used all its mana and strengthened its body. The strength it gain momentarily, allowed it to send the bear flying into the trees. The bear quickly got out of the tree wreckage and charged towards the Long Lizard again.

The Long Lizard didn't want to stick around and decided to slither off. A shadow fell over the Long Lizard and slammed down onto it. The bear stopped upon seeing and hearing the sound of collision.

From the dust, was a rank 3 White Talon. The White Talon stared at the bear with its piercing white eyes and the bear ran away. The White Talon was none other than Fluff. Under Fluff talon with its head pierced was the Long Lizard.

Fluff looked around the surrounding and gave off an aura which scared every living being in the forest. Feeling superior, Fluff smiled, feeling very satisfied.

A bunch of White Talons of lesser rank came down and joined him on the feast. They all started pecking at the Long Lizard. Seeing his pack eating, Fluff felt more happy.

A human voice came from the mountainside, "what do we have here."

Fluff became alert and looked towards the direction of the voice. A goblin and a human looked at him with gazes as if they were looking at a prey. The two were Stake and Altos, they had come in order to tame the Yeti leader, but a White Talon was also fine.

"Hello everyone," a voice spoke from the surrounding air.

A man became visible and it was Nail. Nail had followed Fulso and Vizer because Liana was worried about them. He couldn't have the two dying and making Liana sad.

Nail spoke with a grin, "Say, what are you two doing in my territory?"

Altos smiled at him and spoke, "Since when was this place your territory."

"Since when I climbed the tower and the forest goddess gave me the deeds to the land."

"You mean Jill," Stake grunted.

"Oh? Is that her name?", Nail said surprise.

Stake gaze became piercing and he spoke, “Jill is no longer here, leave before you start something you can't handle.”

Nail closed his eyes and he smiled, his head nodded and his hat hid his face.

“I can't have people coming into my house and disrespecting me like that,” he said quietly. He then looked up towards the two smiling and they saw that he was ready to fight. “Now then, will you two please kindly leave my property?”

“What gives you the guts to challenge both of us?” Altos asked with calmness.

Nail no longer smiled and his eyes became calm. Stake coughed up blood and Altos looked at him with shock. In an instant, Nail was right before Altos with a curved knife heading towards Altos neck.

Stake reached his hand out and grabbed the knife. Nail turned to look at Stake with a calm gaze and Stake looked at him calmly. Nail pushed his knife forward and sliced of Stake’s fingers. Altos immediately teleported away. All of this happened in a tenth of a second.

Altos appeared in the sky and looked down upon Nail with a cold hard gaze. “I can't believe you almost killed me,” he said calmly. “You won't get a second chance.”

Altos reached inside his robe and pulled out a wand that looked like a rotting wood branch. Fluff who felt danger, immediately flew off at fast speed along with his pack. Altos pointed the wand at Nail. Nail calmly looked at Altos and Stake backed off a huge distance from Nail.

“Blightenes,” Altos spoke softly.

A tiny white beam of light shot forward and Nail slashed his blade forward. The blade slammed into the light and a screeching sound that could be heard for miles roared. An instant passed and the light tore through Nail’s blade and severed his hand.

Stake immediately came in front of Nail and slammed his fist forward. The fist collided with Nail’s face but Nail’s face did not budge. Stake and Altos widened theirs eyes in surprise as Nail looked at Stake calmly.

Nail had assassinated many demons in the Demon Surge, he was currently peak rank 3 and was on the verge of breaking through. Stake and Altos on the other hand were both high rank 3. The surprise was that there was a human who could become rank 4 at any moment now.

Still looking at Stake who had his fist to his face, Nail spoke calmly, “Will you leave now?”
