An orphan about six years old in ragged clothes named Eil was laying on ground in an alley filled with snow. It was night time and there wasn't a sound to be heard. The sky was covered in clouds so there wasn't any stars to be seen.

Eil was conscious and didn't feel cold, he became numb long ago. He looked at his finger and saw that they were all blue. He couldn't feel his legs at all. Even his head filled with sandy brown hair felt cold. His brown eyes looked dull and it seemed to be lost.

A man walked by the alley bleeding and he fell to the ground. Eil willed his body to move and he came close to the man’s freezing body. He took the coat off the man and wore it. The coat was very big and he couldn't fill all of it. He covered hs entire body with the coat and curled up. Once he was done, everything became warm.

Eil felt drowsy and fell asleep. After a while, three men came into the alley. They took out their guns and shot the dead man on the ground. The gunshot did not wake up Eil. It was normal to hear gunshot in this neighborhood. One of the men's saw the curled up Eil and shot him multiple times.

Eil registered some pain and felt his life faded away. In the darkness of death he felt nothing. He then felt something warm and opened his eyes. He saw a man in front of him who towered over him. His calm purple eyes stared down at him. Eil trembled a little in front of the giant.

"What's your name?" Jay asked softly.

"My name is Eil."

"Do you want to live Eil?"

Eil shook his head, "I don't like living."

"I see, so your just like me."

"Really mister?"

"Yeah, I want to die too."

Jay closed his eyes and Eil saw the world return to darkness. As the darkness enveloped him once more, he felt all of his thoughts and memories fade away. He didn't know where he was going to go, but he felt at peace.

Jay opened his eyes again and he saw that he was in the body of a baby, he also saw that it would be slightly harder to kill himself. It seemed his existence had adapted to being erased. This would not do for him. The baby cried and Jay thought about whether he should kill it or not. After a while he decided not too, he wasn't ready to cross that line yet and he hoped he didn't have too.

The baby was held in his mother's arms and his mother looked at him coldly. It seems she was a prostitute who fell for some pretty lies.

"Dump it in the river."

“Abortion in primitive times,” Jay thought to himself.

An attendant looked at the prostitute in shock, in the end she decided to obey. She took the baby and went out of the brothel. After a while of walking through the streets during the night, the attendant soon reached a river. The attendant looked at the baby sleeping peacefully. Her face showed no emotions.

"Don't blame me for what's about to happen."

The attendant took the cloth covering the baby and tossed the baby into the river. The baby fell into the water and the river erased the sound. Seeing that there wasn't anything floating back up, the attendant left.

Under water in the river, Jay controlled every cell of the baby and allowed him to absorb oxygen from the water. He also made the baby instinctively close his mouth and ears.

Sticks would come close by and slam into the baby. The baby would come out unharmed since Jay would tense part of the baby's body. Jay looked at the baby consciousness as the two kept floating away.

"Your really lucky, or perhaps unlucky, we'll see long enough."

After a while, the two landed by a sandy side bank. It was cold and Jay tried his best to keep the baby warm. Hours passed and the sun came up. The baby wanted to wake up and cry but Jay didn't want none of that. The two were close by a forest and there could be dangers.

"You take a rest, I'll take over."

Jay broke off his control over the baby's body and Jill took over. Jill looked at the baby's consciousness with a gentle expression.

"Let's give you a name. Since your lucky and unlucky at the same time, let's call you Lune."

Jill knew that the baby's body was extremely weak and it didn't have the energy to move. She looked at the grass on the side of the bank. The baby body started rolling through the sand. It soon reached the grassy area.

"This will have to do for now."

The grass around the baby started decaying. Nutrients were sucked from the grass and Jill started strengthening the baby's body. Once an area of grass was fully decayed, Jill would roll the baby on.

After a while, the baby absorbed enough grass and it was able to walk. Jill let go of control and let the baby conscious take over. The baby named Lune looked around wondering what everything was. The colors he saw started making him giggle. He didn't knowing what this giggling thing was but it made him happy.

Lune felt energetic, he touched the grass and liked the touch of it. Behind him he saw that the grass were dark. He didn't like the colors of dark grass, he instinctively felt threatened by it. He decided not to touch it and looked up towards the sky where he saw blue. What was that blue thing in the sky he wondered.

He saw some clouds and wondered what they were. He then looked at the sun directly and the light blinded him. The light made him feel mental pain and he started crying. A warm embrace came from his mind. The embrace wasn't physical but it made him feel safe.

"Don't look at the sun directly." Jill spoke warmly.

Lune didn't know the words Jill was saying but he felt the message conveyed by it.

"Touch the grass and you'll feel happy."

Lune touched the grass and it became dark. Lune pulled back his hand in fear wondering whether he was hurt.

"It's okay, the grass can't hurt you."

Lune felt relief and decided to touch the grass again. He watched as the grass became dark. When he wished for the grass to not turn dark, it didn't turn dark. Seeing this, he became happy and started touching more grass. He didn't know why he was happy seeing the grass turn dark. It felt like he was taking something and making it his.

"Grrrrrrrr."

Lune looked behind him and saw a creature. He didn't know what it was but it felt dangerous. The creature showed its sharp fangs and charged towards him.

A cloud of white pheromones shot out from Lune. The creature dived its head into the cloud and became still. The creature felt that Lune wasn't a threat and was instead his friend. It felt safe around Lune and came close to him. It rubbed its big head by Lune body and Lune giggled. Lune wondered what this thing was since it could make him giggle.

"It's a wolf, a beast born for killing. It's also a great friend if one can tame it."

Lune didn't know what the words meant. He only felt that the wolf was dangerous, but it was now his friend which felt safe and happy. Seeing that he had a friend, Lune became very happy.

"Get on the wolf."

Lune tried to do what the voice instructed him to do and he climbed onto the wolf with his chubby arm. After getting on the wolf, he wondered what happens next. An electrical signal came from Lune's body and sent a message into the wolf's head.

"Take him somewhere safe," it said.

The wolf understood and took off into the forest. Deep in the forest, they saw lush green vegetation with golden light shining down from the forest canopy. Jill looked around and decided this wouldn't be a bad place for the kid to grow up in. An electrical signal came from Jill and the wolf became intelligent, it also gain a power which let it strengthen its body.

The wolf knew that its job was to protect Lune and it obeyed. Jill and Jay went into deep slumber, they would wait for the kid to grow old and die so that they could move on to the next world.

Time passed slowly, it passed as slow as the dripping of water. Everything felt so long and so beautiful as things pass by. In her sleep, Jill felt peaceful and happy. There was only happiness as she slept. Jay too felt happiness as he slept. Although they couldn't find a solution of to fix their undying problem, sleeping the problem off wasn't such a bad idea.

Outside, Lune had grown old. He was an old man and there was a calm peace in his eyes. Around Lune were many animals. He had grow to love them from the day he was born. Lune looked at the golden sun peacefully and felt its warmth. He had saw the sun from the moment he opened his eyes. He smiled softly and passed away peacefully.
