《Multi Me Myself And I》Ch. 37 White Witan

Fleet commander Laiga was the supreme commander of the Bikal Navy. He was a black-haired man with tan skin with a buff body while fully dressed in blue armor. Today was the day of the auction, he didn't think anything was going to go wrong.
Skay Claw was sent to the auction by the king to draw out spies from their enemies. Enemies spies included the Wimgale empire and their allied kingdoms. The Wimgale empire was too far from them to take Skay Claw by force so the king felt confident in his plan.
Unfortunately, an unexpected situation showed up. A low rank 4 mana core showed up at the auction, the Bikal kingdom of course desired it. Whether they could keep the low rank 4 mana core would depend on them.
If that was all, commander Laiga might have been able to take care of the situation. Unfortunately, a wave of mana set off and he felt a message from it. The message was calling for the skay quetzals.
Knowing that the skay quetzals were going to attack, commander Laiga gave out orders quickly. He ordered the mage to start the force field around the island. They were going to need the force field to repel the skay quetzal's attack.
Back at the auction, everyone started to fight. It's been a while and everyone's backing had already arrived. They only need to take the mana core and escape now. Some people choose to give up on the low rank 4 mana core and went for Skay Claw instead.
There was a shadow in the alley, it was a man named Dopin. Dopin had been ordered by his superior to keep track of a knight with two young girls. A new person join the trio ever since a few days ago. From his information, he found that the person was named Sally.
Right now there was a lot of fighting in the surrounding area. Dopin made sure to decrease his presence so that people don't detect him. Silently, he followed after his three targets. In the sky, he could see a blue wall rise which then made a sphere. It seemed the island force field had been activated.
Dopin followed after the four for a while, he saw that Sally split up with his targets. After Sally split up with his targets, he saw his targets move in another direction. He followed after them for a while until they reach the force field.

This part of the force field was away from the surrounding fights. He saw the knight cut through the force field and the two girls went through it, after that the knight followed. Dopin knew he couldn't break the force field so he decided to go back to home base. Around him, he could see the others doing the same.
The people on the warships in the harbor looked at the force field in front of them. They heard commands to turn back the ship. Quickly, the ships started turning around to leave the Bikal kingdom. Unfortunately, they were too late. From the sky, one could hear loud screeching from everywhere.
It was nighttime and they couldn't see well, there were no moons and only stars. The planet did have a moon but it rarely showed up. Under the night, mages started casting spells of light. The light spread to the surrounding.
Many soldiers saw the sight in the sky and some peed their pants. Above the sky, there were hundreds and thousands of skay quetzals. The skay quetzals swooped down like darkness towards the ship.
"Fire!!!!"
Mages everywhere started casting fireballs upwards. Hundreds of fireballs flew towards the sky. The fireball collided with the skay quetzals and exploded. Flocks of skay quetzals blew to bits. Fireball after fireballs flew towards the skay quetzals.
The skay quetzal's numbers were lowering fast, but it wasn't fast enough. Soon, the skay quetzals collided down with the warships. Skay quetzals tore through the ships with their long sharp beaks. People who were unlucky enough got impaled.
Every skay quetzals was around mid-rank 1. After colliding down with the warships with some missing into the water, they start attacking everyone. A soldier brought his long spear and pierced it towards a skay quetzal's long neck. All around him hundreds of skay quetzals were flying around and attacking everyone.
Elite knights slice and diced every skay quetzals they came across. In the prison room under a warship, a skay quetzal broke in through from the deck. It screeched horrifying the prisoners.
Looking at the prisoners in front of it, it started pecking at them. Its long beak pierced through the cage impaling men's who screamed out in pain. The men would quickly die and the skay quetzal would slurp up their blood and organ.

After slurping up a pack of red gushy juice, the skay quetzal would move on to another. Many in the prison room screamed for help. One after another the skay quetzal ate. It seemed that its hunger would never be satiated.
Seeing a skinny prey before him, it pierced its peak into the cage and sawed the skinny prey arms off. The cuff that was cuffing both the skinny prey arms fell to the ground.
The skinny person looked old and short with only rags as his shorts. At the top of the skinny person's head, one could see a few strands of white hairs. In his eye, one could see a black glint.
Even with his arms sawed off with blood gushing out, the skinny man did not scream. The skinny man was a necromancer named Witan. The cuff had been blocking his mana, now that he could use mana, the skay quetzal wasn't much of a monster in front of him.
Spreading his mana, he raised the dead around him. Witan was a mid-rank two mage so he had plenty of mana. The skay quetzal was angry that it missed, it was about to attack again when a bone pierced its thick feathery body. It screeched out in pain. The bones were reinforced with mana so the skay quetzal hide couldn't block it.
Blood from the surrounding flew towards Witan. Using the blood, he grew new arms. With his new arms and hands, he casted a spell. An ice spike flew towards the skay quetzal throat and severed its neck.
Witan then walked out of his cage with undeads following him. Along the way, the undead mana would pick up armor and swords. From the ceiling of the broken deck, a sailer fell down. Witan grabbed their shirt, pants, trench coat, hat, and put it on.
After dressing up, he walked up the stair intending to head towards the main deck. Behind him, the skay quetzal rose into an undead after being infused with enough mana from him. The undead skay quetzal went up the deck ceiling and started attacking everything.
Witan felt hungry as he walked, he needed a nice meal after this. From the main deck, he could see prison guards and he set his undead on them. The undeads have unlimited stamina and they could keep moving on until they were nothing but dust.
Witan climbed up onto the deck and looked around. He saw a huge battle going on and he was pleasantly surprised. Looking at the captain's cabin, he went towards it. Witan had a lot of questions to ask the captain.
Opening the door of the cabin, he saw the captain hiding in the door. Looking at the captain, Witan smiled. A coward who was too scared to fight was all he saw. The captain saw him and tried to flee but an ice spike rose and pierced his heart. The captain stopped breathing and fell lifelessly. Coming to the captain's dead body, Witan started absorbing his memories.
The captain was from the kingdom of Yealow. He was sent to Bikal to assist in retrieving a low rank 4 mana core along with Skay Claw. Skay Claw was to be used to harvest Tyroceous and a giant serpent. Both of these creatures were at least rank 4.
Quickly inside Witan's mind, a plan was forming. When one increased in ranks, their lifespan also increased. A rank 1 by 10 extra years, a rank 2 by 100 extra years, a rank 3 by 1000 extra years, a rank 4 by 10,000 extra years, and so on.
Currently, Witan was running out of lifespan. With three rank 4 mana cores, he could see a lot of hope. His plan gradually formed and settled. His first plan was to take the rank 4 mana core at the auction along with Skay Claw. After he did that he would head to the island to harvest Tyroceous and the giant serpent.
With his plan settled, Witan started moving. Walking out of the cabin, he used a unique spell he made. The spell was called Dead Flow. His undead would absorb mana from the surrounding and send to him. The more undead he had, the faster his mana regenerated.

Azarinth Healer
A new world with nearly unlimited possibilities. A status, classes, magic and monsters. Sounds good? Well, for Ilea it didn't come quite as expected as for some other protagonists, nor was there a king or god to welcome her. The grand quest? Well, she might figure that out someday but for now, a new world with new food is prize enough. Her fists at the ready, she's prepared to punch and get punched, however long it takes and however many limbs she might have to regrow. A story I've started writing now quite a while ago. Transported to another world, somewhat standard fantasy setting with my beginner attempts to make it dark but funny. There are Litrpg elements here but I do hope it's not too heavy and annoying. The fights should be interesting and aren't just numbers vs numbers. Contrary to the title the protagonist will be quite an offensive fighter. Ilea Spears is your average sarcastic kick-boxing fast food worker and soon to be student. She will be transported to another world rather conventionally and will be confronted with survival in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. My experience is incredibly lacking. If you find yourself hating it early on, do convey your anger in a detailed comment or review :) I want to get better but without any feedback it's simply quite difficult. Quick heads up: Around chapter 120 there are a bunch of longer PoV changes that I discontinued again shortly after. The Arc around chapters 150-200 is darker than the rest and the themes shift quite a bit. Just know that it goes back to what you've come to know after that section. Thank you for reading. Quick update June 2019: Many complaints regarding the formatting, specifically spacing in conversations and of course the usage of the present tense in the first 36 chapters have been addressed. I'm of course learning by the day but compared to how it was before it should be an improvement at least. Chapters usually around 3k words Cover art by Kevin Catalan

Blurb: Silas--a scavenger living off the ruins of humanity--has spent his entire life fighting tooth and nail to provide for himself and his crew. But when a scavenging run goes awry and he's snatched up by an android patrol, he finds himself thrown into a cage and priced to sell as a pet. And when a suitor comes calling, he fears the worst: that he'll be turned into a Domestic, a human lapdog brainwashed into total obedience. Instead, he discovers an equally disturbing truth: that the creatures who stole his world have created a videogame the likes of which Earth has never seen; a sprawling, game-like theme park where humans are the Avatars and androids are the players who control them. And to make matters worse, his android guide is as hopeless as they come, having gotten all of her previous Avatars killed in record time. So if Silas wants to regain his freedom, he'll not only have to fight his way through a world that was specifically designed to murder him in brutal fashion--he'll also have to convince his android guide that he should be the one calling the shots. FAQS: Q: Who are you, handsome stranger? A: I'm Kyle Kirrin, the author of Shadeslinger, book 1 of The Ripple System, published by Portal Books, and I write crunchy LitRPG. Q: What is Wildling? And is it complete? A: Wildling is a crunchy LitRPG mash up of Fantasy and Science Fiction. And yup, Wildling is already complete at 64 chapters, or about 120,000 thousand words. You're looking at something like a third draft here--it's fairly polished, but it hasn't been picked over by a copy editor yet nor has my developmental editor seen it. Q: Upload schedule? A: 5 initial chapters today (2/15/2021) and one chapter a day for the next month. After that I'll probably slow down to 2 or 3 chapters a week until the story is complete. Q: How crunchy is it? A: It's pretty crunchy. I'd put it on the same tier as Ascend/The Land/RSSG, but it might be a bit crunchier than those three? Q: Is this the first book in a series or a web novel or what? And what are your plans for it? A: It's currently a standalone with series potential. Full disclosure: this story may head the way of my publisher eventually, but will be available on RR for quite a while no matter what. Likely several months after it's complete with plenty of warning before/if it's taken down. Q: What kind of build does the MC create? A: Sword and board! Q: Crafting? A: Plenty! Crafting isn't as center stage as it is in The Way of the Shaman, but it's close. Q: Base building? A: Two fully separate, distinct bases, both of which play a major role in the story. Q: VRMMO? Portal? Reincarnation or what? A: This one's a bit tricky. Basically an advanced race has created a game-like world that closely resembles a theme park. Think Westworld but with copious amounts of loot. And the MC has to fight his way through that to earn his freedom. Q: Permadeath? A: Nope! The MC gets 3 lives to play through the entirety of the game world, and death is extremely punishing, but not fatal. Q: Harem? Or romance? A: No and no. Q: Cursing? Blood? A: Quite a bit of cursing, yeah. There's blood, too, but it's not a gory book by any means. Q: How can I support? A: Instead of a Patreon/donations etc, I'd ask that you consider giving my debut LitRPG Shadeslinger a chance. It's free on Kindle Unlimited and the audio is already out narrated by Travis Baldree. It's an epic fantasy VRMMO where the main character gets 3 days of exclusive access to a new game plus a snarky, talking axe to guide him through it in exchange for agreeing to become the target of a serverwide manhunt once the Head Start period ends. Q: How's it similar to Wildling? And how's it different? A. The crunch level is very similar, but Shadeslinger is a much lighter, epic fantasy take on the genre. It's also VRMMO, but without any real world components aside from the first chapter. The MC is very different--he comes off as a bit of a jerk early on and can take a bit to warm up to, especially before his backstory is revealed--but he's also got a talking axe that constantly puts him in his place. Shadeslinger's a much more humorous story in general, and it's a great deal more polished as well. Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoy Wildling!
8 319Natural Slave
Those who are as different from other men as the soul from the body or man from beast are slaves by nature. For them it is better to be ruled in accordance with this sort of rule, if such is the case for the other things mentioned. It is not advantageous for one to be held in slavery who is not a natural slave, for such a condition is sustained solely by force and results in enmity. Not all slaves are in chains. Not all slaves even realize that they are slaves. What is the truth of this world? The Logos are the Words of God. Time waits for man.
8 189The Animo Saga
Before history was well-recorded in the world of Ulakam, primordial animal spirits adopted humans, provided protection and developed deep spiritual connections with them. Millennia later, humans now host animal spirits and are split into tribes named for the species they host. Ulakam is slowly being consumed by a decades-long war pitting the main tribes against the smaller tribes and a group of bandits calling themselves "the resistance". Callida Animo was born into this world. Coming from a mixed family of generational soldiers, Callida joined the family business at a young age. In her words, she was practically bred, born, and raised to be a soldier. And she's good at what she does... which inevitably attracts attention that makes her unambitious self extremely uncomfortable. Love, loss, influence and growth. This is her story. Written episodically, this story focuses on relationships and character growth through a series of mini-arcs that connect to make a greater whole. (Honestly, the story would lend itself well to a TV series.) "Episodes" range from 3-7 chapters (at least so far), and average about 4 or 5 chapters. Author's note: I'm always thrilled to receive comments, follows, ratings/reviews, messages.... All forms of feedback are welcome and encouraged. However, I have no interest in begging readers for more engagement to get better visibility. I tried that with my last story and found the game soul-sucking. So! This constitutes my only self-promotion request. If you are reading this story, let me know what you think! I love engaging with my readers. We'll see if growing the readership organically is even possible. Thank you! 😘 Release schedule: Weekly on Wednesday afternoons
