《Multi Me Myself And I》Ch. 27 Scavengers

The pirates sailed to an island to rest. After a while of sailing, they reached an island. The island they reached looked different though. When they reached the island they became shocked by it.
On the island was a massive corpse of a dragon and the body of a massive frozen serpent. Curiosity overcame them and they wanted to explore it.
“Captain. I believe there's treasure there and we should go check it out.”
The captain with a ruff-looking old man with a grey beard with a scar on his face. His body rippled with muscle. He looked at all of his men with grey eyes and spoke.
“We have a hostage and well get enough money to last us for months soon. That dragon and sea serpent may look like they'll provide us with great rewards but they can also provide us death. With my years of experience, I believe we should avoid the island. Now then men, shall we pass this island with our hostage who will earn us money after a few days or test our luck on that island which might bring us death.”
Many pirates hesitated when they heard their captain spoke. They knew that greedy pirates were killed often. It was better to pass away from this island. After many murmurs, the pirate crew all wished to pass from the island.
Jay saw them passing from the island and didn't do anything. He just watched them sail away to another island. Many hours passed and a new pirate ship came. This pirate crew seemed different though.
Every pirate on this ship was a woman. Jay thought this might be a feminist pirate group and the men's caged under their ship suggested they still had needs. The captain saw the island with the dragon's corpse and sailed towards it.
They landed on the island and went through the frozen land. The temperature was freezing but they held through it. After getting to the dragon's corpse they proceeded to try and cut off its scales but that didn't work at all. They went for the frozen serpent instead but they couldn't break the ice at all.
After many whiles of trying to harvest the two giant creatures, they concluded. With their power, it was impossible to harvest the dragon and the serpent's corpses. They decided to instead sell information of the two creatures location.

Getting back onto their ship, they marked the coordinate and sailed off to a pirate port to auction off the information. Pirates were around everywhere in the ocean and they knew it was better to sell the info quickly before everyone knows of it.
On the island Jay was at, night soon came close. From the forest, Tesra walked out with scars along with Fluff who perched on her shoulder. Jay was about to heal her scars but she said no. She wanted to have them like Jill even though Jay had already removed the scars of his body. Jill could just put them back on though if she wanted to.
After healing Tesra without removing her scars the two sat down and ate. Tesra talked about her experience of fighting dinosaurs with her sword and it was entertaining for Jay. The day was long and brutal for Tesra but she had gained and learned many things from it.
After her father died she felt her feelings and emotions slowly faded away. Jill was able to bring back her emotion but she didn't make Tesra feel alive. It was only after Tesra started fighting and risking her life did she truly felt alive for the first time in her life.
The two talked on and Jay shared his experience of fighting. Most of them were about trusting your body and instinct. He told her that as long as she kept fighting she would slowly improve. Night soon came and the three fell asleep. Jay clone did not sleep and just watched the surroundings in the night.
The next morning the three awoke from their sleep. Tesra went back into the forest after eating to fight the dinosaurs again. Fluff went off with her. Jay clone followed after her and Tesra knew about it since Jay told her about it last night. Looking around and seeing nothing, Jay decided to sunbathe again while spreading out his reception.
Unfortunately for Jay today, clouds were everywhere and blocked out the sunlight. That didn't stop him though and he just made the cloud go away. Laying down on his chair he spread his perception out to the frozen island.
Today there were many ships by the island. It seems the pirates had sold the information of the island location to many kingdoms. The kingdom's ships didn't attack each other though. They instead seem to be united together. Most likely against a bigger foe who wants the whole island to themselves.

On the island on a ship, a man came out and walked down the plank. He had a fur coat on and he looked around the island smiling. He had white hair with blue eyes. Around him were knights guarding him.
The man was named Falm and he was a researcher. He worked for a kingdom on one of the islands. The king had sent him to analyze the corpse and see if there was anything worth gaining.
From one of the mermaids they had captured on their way to the island, they found out that there was a huge battle yesterday between Tyroceous and a serpent monster 1000 meters long. The mermaid said the ocean was poisoned from the serpent blood but it seemed everything around the ocean was fine.
Falm knew it took the environment at least a week to heal after a harsh battle so he wondered why there was no poison. He could tell something fishy was going on but he didn't mind. There was nothing he could do about it anyway.
Traveling deep into the island he decided to try and find a way to harvest Tyroceous scales. From the information he got, a rank 2 human isn't able to put a scratch on Tyroceous scales at all. Truly deserving to be called an ocean god if it was truly this strong.
The mermaids and merman had not found out that their god had already died yet. If they did found out, they would give fierce retaliation since many human kingdoms had come to desecrate Tyroceous corpses.
Falm traveled deep into the island with guards. He did not go towards Tyroceous corpse and instead went towards the serpent's corpse. From around the serpent's corpse, he could see poison in the area that killed people coming in close contact with it.
Taking a sample of the liquid venom that was spreading poison he walked away hoping to analyze it. After getting to a tent that had been set up he started his research. From his research, he saw there were viruses in the serpent's blood. The virus also seemed to be the one that killed Tyroceous. Currently, the virus seemed deactivated.
After researching more about the virus he concluded that no one had harvest Tyroceous core yet. That wouldn't last for long though and other creatures might soon find Tyroceous body. Taking out a paper and a pen, Falm started writing to his king. To cut through Tyroceous and the gigantic serpent scales, they would need the sword Skay Claw.
Skay Claw was owned by the kingdom of Bikal and his king would either have to negotiate with them or steal the sword. Negotiation would most likely be done since no one knows where Skay Claw is and finding information will take too long. By the time they found the information, the corpse of Tyroceous would most likely have been desecrated by other creatures.
Falm king would most likely not be satisfied with his letter so he gave his king another way to get benefits. Tyroceous and the serpent most likely had damaged each other during their fight. The scales of Tyroceous most likely fell into the ocean where mermaids or merman would find it and forge artifacts.
There should also be other scales which fell on this island so Falm would look for them while this message was sent back to his king. Sealing the letter he handed it to one of the guards who delivered it. Looking around himself, Falm called the commander of this expedition. The commander soon came in and Falm gave him an order.
"Secretly send your men's to search for the scales of Tyroceous. That includes the serpent too."
The commander nods and went to give the commands. Seeing the commander leave, Falm thought about when the other kingdoms would give up on harvesting Tyroceous and the serpent blood to just look for scales. It would probably only be after a short while so Falm hoped the commander could find some fallen scales quickly.
The blood of Tyroceous dripping from its neck was currently being harvested by the other kingdoms. With the blood of Tyroceous, a kingdom would most likely be able to produce a rank 3 after a few decade. Thinking of the war in the coming decades, Falm sighed. Deciding he was sick of this island, Falm decided to head towards another island. The stench of blood on this island made him sick.

The Demon King Absolutely Has No Attachments
Welcome to Akoras Online, where the power lies in your hands. This sandbox virtual reality MMO has gained a dedicated community, but it has a catch: those who die in battle have their stats reset. Spending all his time on the server to escape his shut-in life, Kas is the only long-time player with a death counter of 0. However, his social skills are also a big 0, so he's condemned as the cold-hearted “Demon King”. Now, the number of players who actually like him is also 0. (Which is fine. He enjoys the peace and quiet.) However, Kas' dreams of being left alone are banished over and over by challengers with various grievances against him. Among them is Gabriel, the celebrity "Hero" of Akoras, who has just as much time on his hands as Kas. Seriously, Gabriel tries to fight him a lot. It’s getting kind of tiring… Wait, this guy isn’t even in high school yet! The (not-so) idyllic trials of a Demon King and a Hero, with a raging faction war in the background. Now updates on Tuesdays, with the odd chapter in between.
