《Multi Me Myself And I》Ch. 17 Tower Thoughts

When the twins came close to Green Flower they saw a tall tower and wondered what it was. When the twins and their knights reached Green Flower they saw that it was no longer a town and could even be called a capital city. They thought they were in the wrong place but seeing the sign on the city gates saying Green Flower they went in.
Inside the city, they saw everything was cleaned and organized. In the middle of the city was a tall tower and it was a huge structure in their eyes. The tower was 500 meters tall and at the top of it, they saw what looked to be a tree. They wandered into the city and saw people laughing, conversing, and being civilized which was a little weird since commoners were only happy like this in a few places.
Everyone around who saw them backed away in fear and opened a path for them since they were riding on tilzards. Seeing that they needed guidance for the direction they grabbed the nearest person they could who was a boy. The boy had blond hair with a boyish face. He had clothes that commoners wore. He looked at them in confusion wondering what they wanted.
When the people saw them grab the boy they became a little excited since the boy they were grabbing was one of Nail's boys. Altos saw everyone's reaction but remained calm and smiled at the boy who looked about his age.
"Excuse us but were new to this city. Could you please guide us around the city? I promise to pay you handsomely."
The boy whose name is Fulso smiled. His plan had worked and he was going to make money. Newcomers often came to this city and they often needed a guide.
"My name is Fulso, I can guide you so how much are you willing to pay me?"
Altos saw how crafty the boy was and liked the guy. His sister who also saw through Fulso was irritated but kept a neutral face. The knights just stood by and admired or scorn the boy for trying to earn money like this even though they couldn't blame him.
"My name is Altos, this is my sister Alcos, and these knights are our escort. If you are willing to guide us, we'll pay you 100 gold coins for the whole guidance."
Fulso looked at Alcos and blushed a little. Everyone saw this but no one spoke. Fulso then looked at Altos and smiled.
"You have a deal Mr. Altos, now where would you like me to guide you?"

Altos looked into his eyes and smiled. "I would like you to guide me to the adventurer's organization."
"Alright follow me."
While they were walking Altos talked to Fulso trying to find out more information about the city.
"Didn't this place use to be a town Fulso? How did it become a city?"
Fulso smirked at Altos and answered. "While we were in despair the forest goddess came and made us this city."
Altos, Alcos, and the knights became surprised at what Fulso said. To build this city alone, one would need to be at least rank 3. For Altos this could be a sign of an alliance between the Tawn kingdom and the forest goddess. For Alcos this was a sign of why the goblins didn't dare to attack this town. For the knights, this was someone at the pinnacle of humanity.
Seeing their surprised face Fulso became happy. Newcomers always became amazed when they heard the explanation of how this city came to be. Quickly regaining his calm Altos spoke.
"Does the forest goddess live at the top of that tower?"
Fulso was about to answer yes but he shrugged which confused everyone a little.
"The forest goddess lives in the forest and she said she only built that tower for the city."
"What forest does the forest goddess live in," asked Alcos.
"I don't know. They just say she roams around the forest with her chosen."
"Chosen? what's that?" Altos asked curiously.
Fulso smiled with thoughts and envy. "They are someone who has talents in magic and are chosen by the forest goddess to be taught and one day become a powerful being."
Altos whistled at Fulso answer and everyone was in awe.
"Say where can we meet the forest goddess?"
"It's now where, it's how." Fulso smiled at them and they looked at him imploring him to go on.
"After the tournament, the forest goddess said that if you wish to obtain a request from her you must climb at the top of that tower and eat a fruit from the tree."
"Is climbing the tower dangerous?"
Fulso nods his head. "Inside the towers are floors 100 meters in diameter, on these floors are biome and creature that the Forrest goddess has caught and made an ecosystem out of. The tower suppresses your mana and you cannot enter it if you are above rank 1. So far many have challenged the tower for the forest goddess request but none have succeeded."
Everyone became thoughtful at what Fulso said. Yark looked at Altos and Altos saw what he was thinking. As long as Yark could climb the tower to the top they could request the eradication of the goblins. The knights and Alcos also saw what Yark was thinking. They then all looked at Fulso who also saw what they were thinking.

"Shall I lead you to the tower?"
Altos saw the tower in the middle of the city and knew it was hard to miss but to be polite he nods. They followed Fulso through crowds of people and after a while they reached the four entrances of the tower. When they reached the tower Fulso saw an injured boy and quickly rushed towards him. Altos and his group followed him guessing what was going on. They didn't come on tilzards though and had left them in the stables they passed by.
"You tried to challenge the tower again didn't you Vizer."
The boy Vizer was the same age as Fulso and he had black hair with brown eyes wearing commoners clothes.
"I need that request Fulso."
Fulso smacked his head. "No, you don't you idiot."
"Yes, I do Fulso, with a request I can become a chosen and protect all of us."
Fulso shook his head. "You got no talent in magic so you can't become a chosen."
"You don't know that Fulso, she never said so. No matter what I won't give up till I die."
Fulso sighed, he then saw the men who worked for Nail coming to pick Vizer up. He moved away from Vizer and they gently carried him up to take him to the hospital.
"Who was he?" Altos asked with a smile.
Fulso sighed again. "Just someone who's dreaming the impossible."
Alto's nods threw a bag of coins at him. "Thank you for your guidance."
Fulso nods but before he left he gave them a tip. "Your group seems strong and will most likely make it to the top. A tip if you will, don't request anything too unreasonable from the forest goddess."
"Why?," Altos asked.
"Do you know who won the tournament?"
Altos shook his head.
"It was lady Liana. She requested that the forest goddess protected this place for a long time but the forrest goddess refused. In the end lady, Liana could only request that she makes this city great enough to resist the goblins when she left and the forrest goddess agreed which is why she is currently helping this city grow and expand."
Altos looked intrigued and asks. "Why is that a tip?"
Fulso saw what he was misunderstanding. "That's just a tip to not test the forrest goddess patience. Anyway good luck, I have to go now."
Fulso left Altos and his group at the base of the tower. They watched him disappeared into the crowd and then went towards the tower.
"Don't you think he was an interesting boy Alcos?"
Alcos spoke neutrally. "He's a little interesting, but that's all."
Altos smiled at his sister. "He's more interesting than you think since he's probably a spy who's here to make sure we don't have any intention to cause problems. The fact that he has left means that he has confirmed our intention but I'm sure there are more of those men's that picked up that boy watching us."
Alcos thought about how Altos could come to such a conclusion and saw how. In the end, she had to admit his deduction was right and that she couldn't have thought of it without more evidence.
Altos had always been smart but this was the first time she felt the intelligence gap between her and Altos. She wondered if he had been hiding his intelligence in the capital all this time.
Altos saw what she was thinking but didn't mind. The group entered the tower through a gate and felt mana suppression on them that brought them all down to low rank 1. Altos and Alcos were both at mid-rank 0 so they didn't feel anything.
Looking around the floor they saw that they were in a cavern with four stairs in the middle of the floor. Around the cavern was water everywhere. At the top of the cavern, they could see stalagmites dripping water down.
They looked into the water and saw it was deep. Around them, they saw people rowing with fishing boats as fast as they could. Out in the water, they saw a crane croc. The crane croc came through the water and slammed its tail onto the boat. The boat flipped and the people riding on it fell into the water. They then saw that the crane croc didn't attack the people any longer and just let them swim back ashore.
Looking at his group Altos smiled. To get over the water seemed very easy if one could fly. Unfortunately, their mana couldn't last them the whole flight. Sitting down, Altos proceeded to think about how to get over this obstacle course.

The WereLionesses Mate
She was running out of breath, but that didn't matter, all that mattered was getting away from him and proving him wrong. Branches scraped her face and her arms, her body burning hot; but cold from her sweat as the wind blew over her skin. Her pants soaked from running through the streams, her shirt ripped to shreds around her stomach from very low hanging branches. Her hair, a tumbling fiery mess of tangles, and waves slipping through the ponytail she had quickly fastened trying to tame her wild hair. Running and crawling on the ground through the forest floor, trying to get back to the camp grounds so Whhooossshhhh! All of a sudden a giant gust of wind flew past her nearly lifting her off the ground and throwing her into a tree. Where in the world did that wind come from? She thought, but she kept running like it had never happened. She jumped over a fallen log, ignoring the fact that she almost fell in the process. She zoomed past all the trees and sprinted over the roots coming out of the ground. She rounded another tree coming to a sudden halt at seeing him standing there with a drink in his hand laughing and joking. She stood there wondering how in the world he could have beaten her here; He looked at her then, He looked, well, handsome, his faced was clean shaven and his button up shirt was all unbuttoned minus the three at the bottom. She could still visibly see his bronze chest and the top of his ripped-hard abs. He walked over to her and smiled, showing all of his teeth, the smile reaching his eyes. His eyes were dark and stormy, their color was usually a nice honey brown but now his eyes looked mid-night black. They looked like they could kill a man at eighty paces, but could sweep a woman off her feet at the same time.
