《Trash No More》Wang Family Again

Jake and Ling Lin quickly walked out of the villa and stopped in front.
“So what do you want to do first Jake?” Asked Ling Lin. “Grandfather gave you access to a lot of things.”
Jake looked down at his clothes. It was clean but very ragged, it was actually picked out of the trash heap.
“I think I need some new clothes first.” Said Jake smiling at Ling Lin. “I am basically wearing rags.”
“Okay, good choice Jake, follow me then.” Said Ling Lin. “You really do look like a beggar.”
She started walking and ten minutes later they came to a warehouse. As they walked people had stared at them. Jake ignored them but he could not wait to get new clothes.
“I think you should wait here, Ling Lin.” Said Jake. “It would be better for me to do this on my own.”
He then walked into the warehouse and stopped at a desk. Behind the desk was a young man who was studying a scroll.
He ignored Jake and continued his reading. Jake let out a cough, but he was ignored. Jake was getting sick of this and reached out and grabbed the scroll. With that the young man jumped up with an angry look on his face.
“Give me that scroll trash.” Wang Ji said. “What right do you have to touch my things?”
“I think you are the trash.” Retorted Jake. “Sitting there and ignoring me. I am here on official business of the First Elder! Do I have to go back and tell him of your actions here? You are not giving me or the First Elder face!”
Jake kept a solemn look on his face and tried not to laugh. Wang Ji’s face turned white at the mention of the First Elder but did not believe that the trash Jake would have permission from the First Elder.

“Humph.” Wang Ji retorted, trying to salvage the situation. “Anybody could claim they are from anyone. What proof do you have of your claim? I think you are trying to scam resources.”
“So you are saying that I am lying then?” Asked Jake. “Call your warehouse manager here right now!”
With that Wang Ji left and walked into the back of the warehouse. Jake waited and a few minutes later Wang Ji came back with an older man.
“Why are you trying to steal resources trash?” Shouted the warehouse elder Wang Lee. “I will beat you to death for trying to steal resources.”
Wang Ji had just told him that Jake was trying to steal resources and not that he had claimed to have come from the First Elder.
“Why are you saying that I am trying to steal resources?” Replied Jake. “The First Elder sent me here to get some things. This person did not believe me so I asked him to get you Manager. I guess I will have to go back to the First Elder and tell him of this.”
With this Wang Lee turned and looked at Wang Ji. He had not told him of the claim that Jake had come from the First Elder.”
“I am not saying you are lying, but you need proof of what you say.” Wang Lee said with an evil grin. He could not wait to beat on this trash.
“So what do you consider proof then?” Asked Jake.
“If you have a letter or scroll, then you can get basic access.” Replied Wang Ji.
“One second.” Said Jake.
“Ling Lin.” He shouted. “Can you come in?”
With that Ling Lin entered the warehouse and walked up next to Jake. He looked at her and gave her a sly wink.

Both Wang Ji and Wang Lee could not believe that Ling Lin was here. They knew she was his granddaughter. The situation was getting trickier.
“Have you gotten your stuff Jake?” Asked Ling Lin playing along. She remembered all the fun they had playing tricks on people when they were younger.
“Well they said I needed proof that I came from your grandfather.” Replied Jake. “Did he give you a letter or scroll?”
“Hmm, no grandfather did not give me a scroll.” Replied Ling Lin. “I have never needed proof before to get supplies.”
“Well the supplies are not for you Ling Lin.” Replied Wang Lee quickly. “We would give you access quickly. This trash however, has no permissions to get any supplies from the sect. Without at least a scroll then we cannot let him have anything.”
“What do you need for better access then?” Asked Jake.
“Well I have never seen it, but if you have the First Elder’s badge.” Replied Wang Ji. “Then you can whatever you want from the sect’s stores.” Who would give trash access in the first place let alone a badge?
“Oh, what would this badge look like?” Asked Jake with an innocent look on his face.
Wang Lee took a badge out of his storage ring and held it up.
“It would be similar to this.” Replied Wang Lee.
Jake then took the badge he had been given from his ring. He held it out in his palm showing it to the two. “Would it look like this badge? Or will I have to go back and ask grandfather for a scroll?”
At the sight of the badge Wang Lee’s faced turned white. This was the First Elder’s badge.
“Stop trying to show us a fake badge trash!” Shouted Wang Ji however. He had never seen a badge like this before and had no way of knowing how to authenticate it.
Wang Lee turned and smacked Wang Ji driving him across the room.
“Shut up fool!” He shouted at Wang Ji. He could tell from the aura coming from the badge that it was the actual thing.
“In that case.” Replied Jake with a humph. “We will go back to grandfather and tell him that both of you will not allow us access. Let’s go Ling Lin!”
“Wait shouted!” Wang Lee. “Go and take whatever you want.” He knew of the temper of the First Elder and did not want him thinking that Wang Lee was disrespecting him.
Jake turned to Ling Lin with a grin and took her hand.
“Well let’s go Ling Lin.” He said with a grin and they walked into the back of the warehouse.
