[On The Way To The West Border]

As the night goes on Melfina took some twigs and threw it at the bone fire that they are currently using

As the fire grows brighter and hotter, it also warms them from the cold winter night

When hibiki thought over the situation that occurred at the decimated town, he couldn't help but shook his head as he tries to get the memory that he witnessed back there

At that he looked at kaido who is currently laying back on a tree while clinging the clothed cursed sword with his eyes closed

"Hey!"

As he said that Kaido opens one of his eye and looked at Hibiki

"Do you think what you did there is quite... I don't know maybe too much?... Do you really have to go to such lengths?" Asks Hibiki remembering how Kaido showed the bandit army the true meaning of despair

After a few moments of silence Kaido replied with a question

"Do you think that is no way similar to what you did to the non human species?"

Hearing that Hibiki was left stunned for a moment while Alda, Lily, Mia, and Luke was surprised by the sudden question as well

With that to lift the mood Alda tried to intervene

"Hahaha! Kaido you see... The thing is he did that with a meaning to it..." Said Alda

At that Kaido opened both of his eyes and replied

"Meaning? Does your party actions on driving the non human species to exile or perhaps putting them into slavery has a good meaning to it?"

At that Alda went shut as he can't think of any reply

"Slavery and exile... On what grounds do you think this is right?... People strive just to survive and live a normal life and it is also because of people that some live in poverty and misery causing them to act violent to other people... When the people power oppress the normal people they call that propaganda but when normal people oppress people in power they call that sin, treason, act of criminality, evil..... So tell me in what grounds do you think what you did is right?" Said Kaido as if he is trying to pull something from his experience

At that Melfina went silent and also felt awe as Kaido reprimanded the people that causes her to lose her freedom and home

As for Anna and Jack they also stayed silent for they also have their reason why they are also labeled as criminals by the empire

"We... We're not taking this lightly hence were not even enjoying this..." Said Lily as she tries to explain

At that Hibiki butts into the conversation

"You don't know a thing...."

Because of that everyone's attention turned to Hibiki

"You don't know a thing... On How much I suffered from the hands of their kind... I lost everything! I say I lost everything!.... Do you know how much I suffer because of their deeds... You should have known already that I reincarnated once before I got transported here right?... At my first life I was maltreated while at my second life my family, loved ones, and lover got killed in the hands on non humans..... And now I have a third chance do you think I wouldn't do anything in my power to protect them even if I have to get rid of all the non humans in this continent?" Said Hibiki with full of anger as he remembers his past

"I... I would do anything to keep the current status quo" he added

At that Lily tried to comfort him

"Hibiki calm down" she said calmly

But when Lily tried to calm Hibiki the latter just brushed her off

"Don't!.... I know you've grown intimate with Kaido... So I know you have interest in him so don't talk me out of this for his sake" stated Hibiki

When Lily heard that she felt wronged as she said

"I don't think of him that way!!! And plus I'm trying to calm you so that this wouldn't end In a fight! Why are you so stubborn?" Reproached Lily

In Reply to that Hibiki said

"I already told you to not talk me out of this"

As Hibiki said that Kaido suddenly Intervened as he looked at Hibiki from eye to eye

"Do you think I give a damn to your misery from your past life?... Do you think your the only person who suffered?... Do you think what you did right now wouldn't result to a chain of vengeance?... Do you think your so special that it seems that the world only revolves around you?... As for me I'll try in my power to change the view of the world even if I have to go against it and all the things I do is for the sake of the people like me..." Stated Kaido

"At me?" Asks Hibiki in confusion

With that Kaido stuttered for a while because he almost revealed that he was also from another world, he doesn't want everyone he close to in this world to know his past and because of that he stayed silent about his past from other people

"The world is bigger than you thought... There are more people who suffered much worse fate than yours so don't act as if you are the center of everything"

With that Kaido turned around as he avoided talking anymore to Hibiki and because of this Lily also felt contempt as she takes her leave

Sensing his misunderstanding Hibiki tried to apologize to Lily

"Lily I....."

As he said that Lily however waved him off

"I don't want to speak anymore... Just leave me alone first" she said as she turns around

When that happened everyone also followed suit as they took their place to rest leaving Hibiki contemplating his words and actions

When noon arrive at the next day, the company managed to arrive above the small mountain top that is located between the border town villages and decimated town

When they arrived there the arch demon who was resting at the huge building at the border town opened his eyes and stared at the location of the small mountain

"Looks like we have guest"

As he said that he stretched it's arm and casted a spell

"Let's make them have a detour shall we?"

As he said that Mana started to gather from the magic circle he is casting

From afar Anna suddenly halted from her tracks as she shivered in fright

Because of this everyone became worried for her as they asked her what's wrong but when they asked her Anna kept trembling preventing her from speaking

Followed that not long after even Lily fall down on her butt as she shivered from fright as she gaze at the distant place, with this everyone panicked as they saw both Anna and Lily shaking in fear of something

Seeing both of their reaction Kaido felt a bad premonition in which he suddenly became alerted and directed his hostility at a distant place, shocking everyone because of his actions

Followed the ground beneath them crumbled show casing a deep dark canyon below and because none of them can fly all of them fell down the dark canyon

Kaido was caught off guard for moment resulting to him also falling down
