[Marquez household]

The sudden appearance of Kaido inside the Marquez Lucio's room greatly surprised him, he wasn't expecting Kaido to just suddenly jump out like that so he wasn't prepared

"What do you want then... Speak" said Marquez Lucio

"You want me to speak?..... Fine I'll start then" replied Kaido

At that Kaido stood up from the sofa and walked to the Marquez desk and picks up the glass of wine on it

"Esper! Power! Gods! Evil!... Ring any bell?" Stated Kaido

Hearing those words Marquez Lucio became confused as he stares at Kaido

"What about them?" He replied loudly hoping someone will notice the disturbance

"You don't know?... Well then how about demons, humans, war, heroes" said Kaido as he drinks the wine

With those words Marquez Lucio seems to realize that what Kaido said was related to what is currently happening among the four country of human, beastfolk, elves, and demons

Because of that cold sweats drip down his back as if he was afraid of something

"What are you implying?" Asks Marquez Lucio

"I won't go any further... But let me get to the point... I know what is currently happening in this damn world... I don't care what happens to you or your kind but also I don't like when people digs into my history...." Said Kaido as he walks closer to Marquez Lucio sizing him up

"Your butler seems to almost touch my history and it will bring you to a conclusion that will make you wary of me... As much as that sounds good, I don't want that because it will just make it suspicious making the empire to surveillance me further" added Kaido

Hearing his words Marquez Lucio seemed to notice one particular word that came from Kaido which almost stunned him

"World?.... This world?"

Hearing him Kaido grinned as he stares at Marquez Lucio as if he caught a new toy

"Heroes are not the only ones that those damnable gods had summoned"

Hearing his confirmation fear started to longer in Marquez Lucio's thoughts

"It... It can't be... Your saying that your..."

Before Marquez Lucio could utter his next word Kaido interrupted in

"Yup... I'm from another world... You already know just how strong are the people who are in a other world meaning I can easily level this ground your on.... But that is just our little secret"

With that Marquez Lucio seemed to stumble a little as he stares at Kaido with a fearful look

"What do you want?.... Such Information is certainly not free" said Marquez Lucio in fear

"Of course it's not free! All I'm asking is for your loyalty"

At that Marquez Lucio seemed to loss all strength on his knee making him sit on the ground looking up on Kaido

"You want me... To betray the empire?" He asks frantically

"Exactly! I want you to work under me, follow my every instructions and of course obey me.... If you do I'll make the people close to you to evacuate to the village that is currently under me... But it seems that your wife will be hard to convince unlike your mistress or Rebecca's mother I presume... I know how about we leave her here to die?" Said Kaido

Hearing his intention Marquez Lucio can't even fathom how is this guy will be the one of the heroes companions

"What happens if I don't?" He asks while foreseeing a tragic future for his household

"If you don't? Then you die right now together with your whole family!!! I don't need people who are not grateful that I spare them... Plus I can't let you live since you know my secret"

Hearing him Marquez Lucio realized that he was led into a trap making him unable to talk through this conversation making him being lead by the nose

"So what are is your answer?" Asks Kaido

At this moment the door was suddenly opened as a maid went inside the room

The maid was shocked to see Marquez Lucio sitting on the floor while a suspicious guy is looking down at her making her want to scream for help

But before she could scream jack appeared behind her and headlocked her head making her struggle to survive by scratching the one who held her by her nails

But her struggle was pointless as Jack snaps her neck into two which resulted to her lying on the floor dead

Looking at the maid and Jack who easily killed the maid disregarding life, Marquez Lucio became more afraid of Kaido

"Does she have a connection?" Asks Kaido

"Ye... Yes she is the fiance of the guard in our household" explained Marquez Lucio

"Is that so... Then deal with him! There should not be any loose ends when taking this conversation seriously" said Kaido

Hearing him Marquez Lucio felt that he wasn't talking to the same person who is arrogant but instead talking to a cold and heartless person that doesn't hesitate to kill at all

"So what is your answer?" Asks Kaido again

"We'll... We'll join... Please spare my household... As for my wife I'll try to convince her and for my mistress... I assure you that she will be sent to the village safely" said Marquez Lucio as he begged Kaido for mercy

Seeing this Kaido felt assured by his words and left the household with Jack in tow

Looking at the dead maid on the floor, Marquez Lucio felt headache so he asks for his guards to take the body away and ordered his men to kill the maids fiance as quiet as possible

At first his men were confused but after seeing the Marquez complexion they didn't ask any further for they deducted that the Marquez seemed to have met the devil that night

~next morning~

When Kaido told Rebecca that he had resolved her issues with her father, Rebecca became grateful if Kaido and assured him that she would follow him wherever he go for she is hugely indebted to him already by so much

At the same day by noon the group gathered at the gates of the Empire's capital biding princess Ingrid farewell

"You better take care of yourself" said Melfina

"Be careful your majesty" said Zia

"Be sure to meet us again" said Rebecca

"Big sis Ingrid please be safe" said Sui

In just a month and few weeks that seemed to be much more close to princess Ingrid as if they treated her as a friend

"You guys" exclaimed princess Ingrid

If course princess Ingrid was touched by this scenario that she felt crying

When she thought that it was over Kaido approached her and gave her the necklace that he bought at the jewelry shop

"This is from me... Make sure to remember us" said Kaido as he smiled

With this Princess Ingrid's feelings escalated more as this happened and this is further added as Kaido himself puts the necklace around her neck which greatly surprised his peers

"Melfina! Am I dreaming? Kaido-sama was being sweet? How could this happened" stated Okou

"I don't know myself... It seems like the world is ending"

"Ending? More like changing! Are you sure that he's the same Kaido? He must be an impostor" said Rebecca

Inspite of hearing this Kaido ignored them as he stared at Princess Ingrid who seems to be blushing

"Be sure to get back home princess" said Kaido in a badass manner

Hearing this princess Ingrid laughed a little before replying with the same manner

"Sure thing! Arrogant freak!" She said as she laughed

As they bid there farewell princess Ingrid finally left the group and went her separate way

[Empire's west border]

In the west border located five human living settlements and one of them is the town near the border who is now as gloomy as it can be

Suddenly a man and a woman with kids were running down the road seeking help

"Help! Please help us!"

As the man shouted the people of this particular town his inside their houses not even daring to help the small family

As the small family run further a screeching sound suddenly went past these houses and assaulted the small family killing it instantly

Hearing those dying screams one particular family was hiding in fear as the daughter seeks for the mothers protection

"Mom are we going to die? Is there no one who's going to help us?" She asks as tears flow down her cheeks

"Don't worry! I'm sure someone will come and save us" replied the mother as she assured her daughter

And thus the sound of screams continued to reverberated throughout that particular town
