[Newly Constructed Throne Room]

Inside the room only General Stone, King Simone, Princess Ingrid, Earl Reinbach, Kaido and his crew

There here to talk about the summon of the empire for Kaido after all the news of him killing a demon commander greatly acknowledged by the empire so they wish for him to go to the empire personally

As they met Reinbach immediately knelt down to give respect to the king while the royal family and the General bowed down to Kaido to pay their respect and Kaido just nodded otherwise

These scene greatly confuse anyone just who is the superior here

"So per this request I assign my daughter and some knight to guide kaido-dono and his crew to the empire!" Said the king

Hearing this news of another departure the members of the crew immediately asks Kaido for confirmation

"Kaido! Are we really going to the empire?" Asks rebecca

"Kaido-sama!" Alerted Melfina

"Just what do they want?" Muttered Okou

As they asks this Zia and Sui on the other hand stayed silent

Kaido clearly understood their worries

One of the days of their recuperation Rebecca admitted to Kaido that she escaped from her family in the empire while for Melfina, Zia, and Okou lost their homes in the empire and branded as heretics as for Sui she was out of this topic

"Are there any way to conceal their ears? We all know that the empire hates non human!" Said Kaido

"We do!" Said princess Ingrid

After that she handed out a necklace to Melfina, Zia, and Sui

"This necklace is imbued with alteration magic and can completely hide their demihuman characteristics" assured princess Ingrid

As soon as the three wore the necklace all their species characteristics disappeared and turned to human characteristics

Seeing this Kaido thanked princess Ingrid and replied

"We will go to the empire! I want to see how capable is the hero really is" said Kaido

As soon the the royal family heard this they only smiled wryly at Kaido

"Kaido-dono you are already the pride of our kingdom! You better not lose to some empire brat!" Encouraged General Stone

"I don't fight for anyone! I fight for my own interest but I can assure you.... No one can beat me!" Replied Kaido arrogantly

Hearing this the general gave a hearty laugh

When afternoon hits the meeting ended and Kaido and his crew started to pack up

After a while Reinbach talked to Kaido

"Well this will be our last day together! The other knights will guide me back to Screa Port City... My family will miss you guys" said Reinbach

"Hahaha don't worry! We will meet again and by that I'll invite you for a drink" said Kaido

Hearing that both Kaido and Reinbach laughed as they talked more

[Ingra Kingdom Gates]

Two parties are gathered outside the gates, one was going to the empire while the other was going to Screa Port City

"Uncle Reinbach! I'll miss you please don't forget about Sui" said Sui as she hugged Reinbach

Feeling this Reinbach forced himself to not cry

"Don't worry when you get back I'll treat you with lots of gifts" replied Reinbach

Witnessing this Kaido almost laughed on the spot there but halted himself from doing so

Reinbach really felt like Sui's uncle so he was a little emotional about the parting

"Reinbach-sama! Thank you for taking care of us!" Bowed Zia

As she bowed Okou, Melfina, and Rebecca also bowed to show their gratitude

Seeing this Reinbach was again about to cry as he said

"Don't worry... We will meet again!" Said Reinbach

After few goodbyes and saying farewells to the princess especially Kaido who is his family's benefactor Reinbach left and went back to his hometown guarded by some knights

As he left Melfina approached Kaido as she handed out a letter

"Kaido-sama! This came from Pablo... He said the insides will really caught your interest"

As kaido reads the letter he slowly grinned as the inside message really caught his attention

"A reaper and a mage! I still don't have that!" He muttered

When Melfina saw Kaido's muttering she went forward to go nearer

Immediately Kaido spoke up and asks her

"So Melfina are you willing to follow me?" He asks

As she heard this she nodded obediently

"My life is yours kaido-sama" she replied

"Good! Don't tell this to the rest... This will be between you and me!" He said

Hearing this Melfina listened attentively

"What do you say about a little jail break?" Said Kaido while grinning at Melfina

Hearing this Melfina was a little bit dumbfounded but she still replied

"Whatever you do I follow!" She said

Hearing this Kaido was assured and proceeded to plan the future scheme of jail break

As he thought this the person himself entered the carriage as Okou started the moving guarded by several knights

As for the princess she sat down inside the carriage to have a chat with the crew

As they chat Kaido's aight wondered to the disappearing silhouette of the kingdom and looked at the surrounding scenery as he said

"Looks like time to show what I can do to a bigger playground" he muttered as he grinned

And with that this group started heading straight to their next destination the Empire
