[Other Side Of The Castle]

Seeing that Kaido was slowly approaching the disheveled prince, the latter himself immediately spoke up to at least intimidate Kaido

"Stay!... Stay where you are! Don't come any closer!" He shouted

But Kaido immediately dismissed his shout and continued to walk towards the prince

Seeing this fear instantly showered down on the prince mind as the replay of how Kaido killed a demon commander mercilessly which is on whole other level than a normal demon

"Don't come closer! I'm warning you!" Bluffed by the prince

When he said that he released his aura and focused his energy into the sword and ready to give a fight to Kaido if the situation is needed

As he did that Kaido halts his pace and picks up a rock as he coiled it with electricity and instantly throws it at the prince which later the attack turned to railgun as it's speed instantly increased followed by the coiled energy

As the attack hits the prince his arm was immediately shot through and blood gushed out from it, because of this the prince howled in pain as he fell on his butt and covered his wound

With every step Kaido takes the prince would try to move back to get further away

These intensity made the prince think irrationally as he gathered Mana in his palm and was about to cast magic

Seeing this Kaido appeared instantly infront of the prince as he broke his hand

Due to this the prince screamed in pain and started to crawl away, with a left arm shot through and a right arm broken he has no choice but to try to flee by crawling

"Help me! Anyone! Please help me!" He shouted while tears burst out on his face

As he tried to escape Kaido steps on him and picks up his sword as he aimed for his neck which made the prince struggle to break free while crying

Just as kaido was about to do the deed a shout came from his back

"Stop!"

When he glanced back he saw the king and the princess with the general followed by the knights standing there facing him

"Please even thought he betrayed the kingdom! He's still my son! Please let me be the one to handle him" begged the king

Seeing this Kaido just stared at him and since no response was returned the king knelt down and begged

"Please if you want to kill someone! Please kill me!" He said

The moment the king said those words the knights, the General, and the princess immediately beckoned him

"Your majesty!"

"Please stand up!"

"Father!!!"

But the king paid no heed to their calls and continued to knelt down with his head touching the floor

After witnessing this and calming himself for a moment Kaido returned his gaze on the prince and said

"Your lucky! The king is too good for your kind! The next time you offend me I'm going to personally kill you even if I have to destroy the whole kingdom" said Kaido

As he said that Kaido immediately left and went pass the king

Realizing that Kaido spared the prince the king become grateful as he stand up and said

"If you need my help in the future just ask!" He said while he bowed and went to the prince

The princess looked at Kaido while the latter stared at her, she immediately turned her head to avoid his gaze and said

"Your clothes! Fix them up!" She said while blushing red

Currently Kaido was in tattered clothes as he regenerates his wounds

Hearing this the latter silently nodded and passed the princess

Glancing back at Kaido the princess silently let out a sigh as she attend her father

After a moment Kaido stops infront of the soul orb and the cursed sword as he says

"I'll take these things! After all it seems like the demons are after this!" He said

"Huh? Uh yeah sure please feel free to do so" replied the king in surprise

In truth Kaido was really interested on why this particular object is able to get a demons attention so he planned to further research about this if he has time and as for the sword he just likes it's design

Kaido immediately stacks the orb in his free pocket, when he touches the sword he immediately heard a voice calling out to him in a creepy way

"Kaido!" Whispered the voice

After looking around and finding out no one was there he quickly dismissed it and picks up the sword and covered it in cloth that he got from the nearby knight

After that he left the castle walls

When the invasion ended the citizens returned to the kingdom and reunited to their loved ones who survived

Who some grieved for their loss of love ones some were happy to be reunited

Every demon inside the kingdom was thoroughly killed and the demons that escaped immediately went back to where they came from

When Kaido arrived at the medical center he was immediately greeted by a a crying Sui who was deeply worried about him while Zia was standing nearby

When Rebecca, Melfina, and Okou saw Kaido they immediately felt down but when Kaido said that they did well they immediately beamed up as they hugged Kaido in grateful attitude they were truly blessed by such an understanding person that they could follow

As for Reinbach he silently patted Kaido's shoulder as he felt reived that Kaido survived

Weeks passed after that Reinbach was promoted from viscount to Earl because of his achievement in the battle and as for Kaido he was titled as pride of Ingra Kingdom because of his feat of defeating the demon with additional money for compensation

Seeing the money Kaido grinned I delight but quickly dismissed this as he saw the princess approached him

"Pride of Ingra Kingdom! What a great title!" Said the princess

But Kaido replied

"But it's not intimidating!"

Hearing this the princess added

"Well see!"

As they talked the princess really seems to enjoy herself so seeing this Melfina interrupted them with Rebecca

"Sorry princess but kaido-sama is quite busy!" Said Melfina

"Yeah! And Kaido...."

Just as Rebecca was about to say something Kaido stared at her blankly

Seeing this she immediately said

"It's nothing!"

As she said that the princess laughed as she envy their current hilarious relationship

After a month passed snow begun to fall from the sky which indicates winter

As this happened two letters were sent to the king and Kaido in the capital

The crew was still staying in the capital to ensure that no more demon army appear

When both Kaido and the royal family read the letter the king sigh as he finishes reading the letter

"So the empire have heard about kaido-sama's feat of defeating a demon this they request for his audience in the empire" said the princess

"Yes it seems so!" Replied the king

"Do you think the hero and kaido-sama would go along well?" Asks General Stone as he overheard the conversation

Hearing this both the king and the princess sigh as they imagined a chaotic argument to spread out

When Kaido finished reading the letter he sips his black coffee as he sits down on the chair and stares at the falling snow

Fate seems to toy him as it tries to get him and the hero meet each other up

Since both him and all three heroes are like opposite sides of the coin they would really not agree with each other maybe proceed to a gruesome fight

Thinking about this he smirked as he stated

"Hero! Just how strong are you?"

In a big white lonely place the goddess Serefina is currently observing Kaido as she chuckled slightly and said

"Now the wheels of fate started to turn... How will it end I wonder!"
