[Goddess Serefina's Shrine]

As kaido opened his eyes he saw General Stone, Princess Ingrid, a priest, and other personnel surrounding him

As they saw him woke up they became relieved cause after all if Kaido didn't waked up a huge commotion would erupt in the kingdom as the shrine did something to Kaido

When Kaido sits up General Stone asks him

"Kaido-sama! Are you alright? Why didn't you faint?" Asks the general

Even princess Ingrid wants to know the reason for Kaido's unconsciousness back inside the shrine

But for the priest and the church personnel they saw the change in Kaido's face as if he realized what he should do

"He met with the goddess!" Murmured by one of the personnel

The voice was low but since the place was quite it caught the attention of all the people

"What? He met with the goddess? Just what is his connection with the goddess?" Asks General Stone

But the personnel shook his head and replied

"I don't know but I can tell he spoke and met her during his sleeping state" said the personnel

Hearing this princess Ingrid looked at Kaido as she can't believe that the person infront of her is so special that the goddess actually spoke to him, none of the believers ever spoke to the goddess but only the high priest

Kaido however was neither so it was amazing how he spoke with the goddess

When Kaido got up he said

"Get yourselves ready! This war isn't as simple as you think it is!" Said Kaido

When he said this Kaido immediately walked out the shrine followed by princess Ingrid and General Stone

"Kaido-sama! Just what did the goddess tell you? How can you say that this war is not that simple?" Asks princess Ingrid

But during this time Kaido sensed a demonic presence far away from his position so he grinned

"So that guy at to move as well!" Murmured Kaido

After that he turned his gaze at the princess and said

"Princess I'll assure you everything is fine so I need you to return back at the castle and General make sure to strengthen the soldiers! The demons are much stronger than 100 years ago" said Kaido

As he said this Kaido rushed back to his inn leaving both General Stone and princess Ingrid shocked by his actions

"He must have come into realization when talking with the goddess" pointed out General Stone

"Yes I'm sure of that too but we will ask him in another time" said princess Ingrid

With that general Stone silently agreed

[North Of The Capital]

A deal demonic beast lay down on the ground as prince Johannes pulls out his sword from the beast leaving its blood spread out the streets

"Now with this you will not be suspected your highness!" Said the vassal

"Great! Now we just need to wait for that demonic beast kill that arrogant bastard" said prince Johannes

Later on the crowd begun to cheer for the prince for his successful subjugation of the demonic beast, spreading his game even more

[Capital's Inn]

As kaido went inside the inn he was greeted by Sui and Zia in the room while Reinbach, Okou, Melfina, and Rebecca went out to meet with the king and other nobles

As he sits Sui approached him and sits on his laps as she says

"Papa! Your back early! Do you want to play with Sui?" Asks Sui

Hearing her Kaido smiled but he rejected her while saying

"Sorry about this but I have a lot to do for now... So how about you play with Zia for a bit and I will tucked you in later this evening"

Hearing him spending later with her later at night, Sui became excited as she nods her head and asks Zia instead

When Zia arrived he gave Kaido a tea and left to play with Sui

For Kaido himself he took out a piece of paper and wrote down all he could remember from when he spoke with the goddess

As he finished the notes taken down he puts down his own and breaths out as he pondered that his journey is long way before he got to the ending

"This will be troublesome" said Kaido

The moment he finished his pondering and solving what the goddess meant night already came to the capital, so he immediately went to Sui's room and saw everyone was already asleep except sui

"So everyone didn't disturb me since I'm busy? How kind of them! But their kindness are wasted on a person like me" he muttered

When he entered Sui's room he saw Sui herself tucked in her bed as she looked at Kaido

"Papa! Your late" she murmured

Seeing her like this Kaido silently walked over and kissed her forehead

"Sorry about that! U was just so preoccupied but don't worry I'll make it up somehow" said Kaido

"Don't worry papa! Everyone know that you are doing your best for everyone that are close to you so we understand so that's why big sister Rebecca and big brother Okou including big sister Melfina and uncle Reinbach all respects you! Not only them but also all the people who knows you!" Said Sui

Hearing her Kaido gently smiled at her as he said

"Don't worry! I won't let you be in harm's way!" He said

As he said that Kaido stayed with Sui until she fall asleep before he went out to her room

When Kaido closed her rooms door the hallway became eerily quiet and the lights started to dim for some reason

Noticing this Kaido enforced all the rooms by soundproofing them and he sigh as ha says

"Your here for me so why not come at me already and be done with it?" He declared

As he said this a demonic figure emerged from the darkness in a form of a huge demonic mantis

Screeeeeeeccccchhhh!!!!!!

Seeing that it's been found out the demonic beast roared out in anger and charged at Kaido

Seeing the demonic mantis jumping through wall to wall before engaging him, Kaido applied a high end barrier on himself and formed a gauntlet made from the wind in his palm

As the demonic mantis close by, Kaido stepped forward as he clenched his fist and delivered a punch

But contrary to his expectation the demonic mantis dodged his attack and tackled him to the wall resulting to them crashing through it and landed on the floor outside the inn

As kaido got up he noticed that the demonic mantis started brandishing it's sythe blade

Seeing this Kaido stood up and positioned himself saying

"Let's finish this quickly! We can't disturb the neighbor's after all"
