[Ingra Castle]

When Kaido got a glimpse of the castle he was immediately mesmerized by it in which it resulted to him showing some reactions

At the same time Zia and Sui got down from the courage, and Sui the moment she got down she ran up to Kaido to give her a lift in which Kaido lifted her up

This kind of father like scenery warms Reinbach heart but this also caught the ire of other nobles as they slowly criticized Kaido

"Who's that brat? Why is there a maid and a child? Does he think he's going on a picnic?"

"Such insolent fellow!"

"We're in the times of crisis yet he is still daily dallying!!!"

"Fear not! He must be a lowly commoner! Just look at his clothes and the maid elf must be his mistress"

"Shameful! Truly shameful!!!"

Inspite of these criticism Kaido paid no heed to them and just gave a sigh

At that moment a vassal suddenly intrude and told the nobles to enter the castle and head for the royal Throne where the royal family is located

As the nobles went inside, Kaido let's go of Sui and handed her to Zia and told everyone to stay put while him and Reinbach will enter

Everyone immediately understood what Kaido is implying cause after all they were just commoners except for Rebecca who has a mysterious rich background, and if your talking about Reinbach safety then Kaido was clearly enough to guard him

[Few minutes later]

When the nobles started to fill the once wide throne room they begun to give respect to the king while also greeting the prince and trying to curry favor the princess to get her attention

Some nobles even brought their son and tried to introduce them to the princess but the king intercepted them

"There is a time and place for everything! If you want to curry favor my daughter then there is a welcoming party later after this war meeting and that party is intended for us to deepen our bond with each other including loyalty cause, such bond and loyalty is needed in this war" said king Simon

Hearing him that noble immediately back down and went to his position with his son, while the prince just merely smirked at him

At that moment Reinbach entered the room with Kaido which caught the attention of all the nobles cause after all Kaido is just a commoner yet he still dare to enter the throne room

This also stunned the royal family especially General Stone and princess Ingrid

When Reinbach knelt down to give his respect to the king, Kaido was just standing behind him while putting both of his hands on his pockets not minding if he's infront of the king or not

With his actions it caught all the nobles ire once more, as for the surrounding soldiers since they saw Kaido not kneeling down they pointed their spear at him while the prince attitude started to turn sour... not even in his lifetime has he saw such an ungrateful person

"Audacious! Hes truly audacious!"

"Why is he here? Hes just a commoner!"

"How dare you not pay respect to the king"

As bunch of noble started to make noises about their criticisms, princess Ingrid looked at General Stone while the latter was also clearly looking back at her

"Is this kind person Really arrived here? I didn't thought that such a single wish of a person not minding the status quo would actually come true and show up here" this is what they both thought currently

The king however grew interest at Kaido and made Reinbach to stand up

When Reinbach stood up he apologized for Kaido's behaviour and stated that they should get into position

When Reinbach was about to go to his position, the king suddenly asked Kaido the reason for his behavior just now and why didn't he knelt down

Hearing his question Kaido turned to him and answered

"Why would I need to kneel down? Your just a human and so am I? You may be a king but your only there to lead your kingdom to prosperity and plus I still don't know you!... How can I show respect to someone who I don't know? But since your a king a didn't kneel to you but clearly I bowed to you to show some respect.... Respect can't be obtained in an instant! It takes time" said Kaido

Hearing his answer the king laughed so loud as he agrees to Kaido's verdict which surprised the nobles and the princess and the general

Princess Ingrid was shocked the way Kaido talked to the king! It felt like he was just talking to a person who is equal to him, not only that but princess Ingrid is currently using her ability to see through others and what she saw on Kaido surprised her, Kaido just told nearly what is in his mind he has not any interior or ulterior motives against the throne, but what surprised her us that when Kaido glanced at her he just gave her a shrugged and clearly not a bit charmed by her which caught her attention

Seeing his attitude and demeanor it clearly caught princess Ingrid's attention, as for General Stone he clearly held high regards for people who are honest so he thought

"If this is that person then maybe he could do it!" He thought

Inspite of the king's good mood the prince however can't stand such a disrespectful act infront of him so he immediately shouted

"Halt!"

As he shouted Kaido stopped on his tracks and glared at the prince

Seeing his glare it infuriated the prince even more

"You how can you show such disrespect infront of me are you not afraid that you would get punished by the royal family? Or maybe you prefer your family to be the one who suffers or your actions" said prince Johannes as he pointed his sword at Kaido

Glancing at the sword Kaido clearly noticed that the sword was enchanted by a sorcerer so he can't simply control it so instead he answered him bluntly

"Do you think you can just fling your status right into my face?" He stated

Hearing this a vein popped up on the prince forehead as he released his murderous aura

Sensing this aura Kaido was quite irritated by him as he also released his murderous aura

With both of their auras it instantly filled the whole room

While glaring at the prince, Kaido stated

"Royalty? Who cares!!!"
