[Screa Port City Sewer Line]

With the commotion above by Kaido suddenly barging in at the Earl's Manor and killing their successor, beneath the city where multiple passage of sewer line are connected another battle was occuring beneath it

As clash of swords and daggers sparks against each other multiple spells we're also being released by both sides trying their best to kill the other

As it may seem an equal ground, the result vary otherwise

The side with multiple people much numerous in numbers than the other side was being pushed back by the enemy forces, while the other side haven't lost even a single member from their group

The other side is wearing a black coat with hoods on their heads covering their faces, Melfina the loyal elf of Kaido was the one leading this group of cloaked members which consisted of twelve people to destroy and save the hostages from this lab

As they fight conversations among the group occur

"Damn! I didn't know that our boss is so young!"

"I know! And did you see how he was fuming in anger? Someone must have provoked him"

"I agree! Boss released such intense bloodlust that it gave me goosebumps all over my body! No matter who that guy is... He will surely die"

"I feel pity for the guy that angered boss"

As they talked Okou immediately shouted at the to focus on the mission

As he reprimanded them he turned to look at Melfina who was also taking cover from the continuous attack of the enemy

"I knew being an assassin is not for me! I rather become a guardian than be an assassin" said Okou

"Well we have our own preferences" said Melfina

When they tried to peek a magical bullet would head their way making them unable to discern the position of the enemy

"Damn it! They're too persistent" exclaimed Okou

As he said this Melfina saw a shield near her so she immediately picked it up and threw it at Okou

The moment okou catches it Melfina said

"Block them for me"

Hearing her Okou nodded and immediately charged straight at them while holding his shield up

"Shield bash"

With a charge Okou slammed the shield at the opponents face making an opening for the group to enter in

As the opponent leaved an opening Melfina sprinted over and threw smokescreen at the opponent

At that instant all the members of Melfina's group charged into the smoke and killed the enemy

Series of cries can be heard inside the smoke as the bodies of different people fell to the floor

As Melfina's group finished the guards they immediately looked at the documents within the facility and saw some grosteqeu researches

The researches contains some result of drugging, experimenting, mental experiment, and others

Not only that but there are also some list of potential buyers for the next black market auction for the slaves

"Tsk! I don't know who's the real beast us or the humans" said Okou

"You shouldn't generalize all humans! Remember we Al have human partners" reminded Melfina

As she kept the documents Melfina said something to Okou

"You know! Kaido-sama told me that he was thinking of letting you join as his companions his trips because of your high defense " said Melfina

Hearing this Okou was happy

"Really? Then maybe I should be kaido-sama's bodyguard" joked Okou

But Melfina just stared at him indifferently making him stops his jokes

As they looks around, one of their companion found a passage through the wall leading deeper beneath

As they entered they readied themselves to fight at any moment

In a corner they saw a show standing still which most likely came from a guard so they moved quietly as possible

With a Swift action Melfina stabbed the guard in his throat while the other hand is covering his mouth

With nonstop bleeding of the guard soon it stops it's struggling as it fell into the floor dead

Seeing the rows of cells with prisoners inside Melfina's heart can't stop thumping as she looks for her sister while freeing the slaves

After so much search Melfina became gloomier as she found out that her sister was not among the prisoners and slowly walks away

As she turns at the corner melfina gritted her teeth and punched the wall and cried in worry for her sister

Seeing this Okou just looked at her with a solemn gaze as he wouldn't know how it feels like to have a relative after all he is an orphan

The slaves were all still in a daze as they were being taken out by a group of cloaked people

When they got out they saw that they were in the slums and they saw multiple cloaked people pulling multiple carriages to them

At that moment Okou announced the freedom of the slaves and said that they would be brought to their village to live their together with them

Hearing this some of the slaves begun to wept while some regained their sparkle from their life less eyes when they received their freedom

As Melfina looks at them Okou approached her and said

"Don't feel down! You never know maybe kaido-sama already found her somewhere else! Don't lose hope" comforted Okou

Hearing this Melfina gave him a glance and said

"Not maybe! Kaido-sama will really find my sister and I'm sure of it" corrected Melfina

Seeing this unwavering loyalty Okou was taken aback

"Tch! Such loyalty! It's so much blinding!" He thought

With that said Melfina made the former slaves enter the carriage as they strode to the Louche Manor

Seeing this the leader of the assasins grinned and proclaimed
