[Main Road]

~After some time~

In a sunny day in the middle of the main road a carriage can be seen strolling down this road which will lead to a new city

There are mainly three people right now who is riding this carriage

"By the way why did you buy this big carriage? Shouldn't a normal wagon be enough?" Asks Kaido

Hearing this Rebecca turned her head while still focusing on the road

"Well you never know! We are still starting our journey so maybe along the way we will have more companions and stuffs to bring"reasoned Rebecca

Receiving her answer Kaido felt that it was logical so he immediately changed the topic

"By the way do you guys know where we are?" He asks

"I know!" Said Melfina

"Oh yeah?" Taunted Kaido

"Yes!" She said

As she says that she took out a map on her small bag and said

"Currently we are still on the main road with nothing to worry about but once we move further we would be somehow challenge a little?"

"Challenge?" Asks Kaido in confusion

"The thing is...... There might be monsters and bandits that would attack us and finding an inn would be hard! The next village is the only village close to the city but we're still far off so maybe we might sleep outside occasionally!" Said Melfina

"The way you said feels like your uncertain of something!" Rebutted Kaido

"The.... The thing is that I just don't want to make assumptions?" Said Rebecca

After pondering for a bit Kaido said

"Well it is true that having false assumption could lead to destruction! So it's alright to be unsure!" Said Kaido

Hearing their conversation Rebecca started to chime in

"Come on guys! I want to talk too! Both of you seem close... Have you met each other before?" Asks Rebecca

"Yes! Yes we did...." Answered Kaido blatantly

"Woah! Your so bold to say that even if your infront of me" said Rebecca

"And why is that?" Asks Kaido

"Simple I'm one of the well known female adventurer in the guild" said Rebecca

Seeing her smug face kaido.popped a vein on his forehead

"Just so you know I don't have those kind of feelings for you! Second your only popular because there are only few female adventurers in your guild, and third why would I worry such a thing? If you don't like the way we talk you can leave after all I didn't force you to come but you came all the way and claimed that you have no other choice.... For me that's bullshit!' said Kaido

"Woah! Kaido-sama knows how to really enraged someone!" Said Melfina

Hearing that Rebecca gave a wry smile

"Um! About that... I didn't get angry at all and I'm not offended!" She said

"Is that so..... Seems like you have a wide amount of patience almost feels like a noble aristocrat" said Melfina

When she said this Kaido sneaked a glance with one eye open and the other closed

"Now that you mention it she is kind of extravagant to buy something luxurious" said Kaido

Hearing his words Rebecca thought to herself

"Does this thing looks luxurious?"

After a while she answered Melfina

"Well no! This is just my attitude" said Rebecca

"Is that so?... Then you'll be a fine wife if you have that much patience" commented Melfina

"I'll take that as compliment" said Rebecca

As they converse along the road their journey seems quite peaceful for a world.of fantasy

After having lunch and moving to the next check point they stopped first along the river

"Stop here!" Said Kaido

"What is it?" Asks Rebecca

"I just want to do something" said Kaido

As he said that he jumped off the carriage and headed at the nearby river then looked at the forest

"Hmm?" Tilted Kaido

After looking it at different angle Kaido crouched down the river and touched the water

As he touched it he cups some water and tasted it at the tip of his tongue

The moment he did he exclaimed

"Corroded metal?"

As he said that both Melfina and Rebecca were close to him and heard him

"Corroded metal? Is there a mine nearby?" Asks Rebecca

"I didn't know about that!" She added

"Kaido-sama!" Said Melfina

At this moments Kaido thought of something and used his brain

"No it's not some kind of metal cause I there is I would have attracted it" he said

"Attracted it?" Asks Rebecca

"Yes!.... I feel that something was strange in this forest so I went to the nearest river and used magnetism to see if there is a foreign element?" Said Kaido

"Magnetism? What's that? But anyway did you found something?" Asks Rebecca

"Yeah I did! But it was not a solid element but rather a liquid element so I tasted it" he said

"What did you found?" Asks Melfina

"It taste corroded metal! And the only thing that taste corroded metal even if it's liquid is blood!" He said

"Blood? But do you mean there's a battle inside? Then maybe the beast or monster in it are fighting!" Said Rebecca

"No it's not that! In this.... Our world the only creature that has a taste corroded metal in its blood is humans... So we can expect that there are dead humans inside"said Kaido

"Then isn't this dangerous?" Said Rebecca

"But we have no choice! Let's venture in and see for ourselves" said Kaido

As they did that they entered the forest until they get to the middle of it

As they slowly pass by both Melfina and Rebecca feels an eerie aura coming from all direction seemingly looking at them

"It feels like there targeting us womans with their aura!" Said Rebecca

"Kaido-sama!" Exclaimed Melfina

"Calm down they're humans I can sense them but somehow they can't sense me! Looks like seems I'm a teenager and looks fit and has undeveloped image! They looked down on me as someone insignificant" said Kaido

"Insignificant? A human dare to see you insignificant?" Repeated Melfina

This time Kaido smirked

"Human? More like bandits! A viscous, ugly looking, horny, perverted, and greedy bandits" taunted Kaido

This time he said it so loud that puts all the bandits attention to him
